El Festival Internacional de Cine de Valdivia exhibe cine chileno e internacional en cinco categorías competitivas: Largometraje, Largometraje Juvenil, Cortometraje de Latinoamérica y el Caribe, Cortometraje Infantil de Latinoamérica y el Caribe, y Cortometraje Chileno de Estudiantes de Cine y Audiovisual. Su programación no competitiva incluye retrospectivas históricas, focos de cineastas contemporáneos, cine político, de vanguardia, de género y una sección de cine para niñas, niños y sus familias.

El FICValdivia busca ofrecer a los y las realizadoras audiovisuales un espacio de difusión y competencia, junto con promover la producción audiovisual nacional e internacional de calidad artística.

El certamen tendrá lugar en la ciudad de Valdivia entre el 13 y el 19 de octubre de 2025.

Terror Film Festival was founded by filmmakers and screenwriters, and we know how difficult the road to success can be. That’s why we screen short films during the festival, but not the feature films. We only screen the feature film "trailers". The reason being that the integrity of your feature film must be kept intact if you expect to get a distribution deal. This way, your project can still be reviewed, you can still compete in the Claw Awards competition, and you can still have the opportunity to sell your film to fans during the festival. But, you do not suffer any interference with any distribution deal offers! Plus, All films and screenplays are reviewed by our selections committee, and all selected films and screenplays then become nominated for the coveted Claw Awards. Who knows, perhaps YOU will win the next Claw Award!

Desde el 2009, el Puerto Rico Queer Filmest es el primer y más grande festival de temática LGBTQ (Lésbica, Gay, Bisexual, Transgénero, Queer) en la región del Caribe. Somos un festival competitivo que exhibe películas producidas en formato digital con una duración máxima de 30 minutos. La programación del Festival Curta Cinema consiste en: Competencia internacional y nacional, Panorama latinoamericano y de Río, Panorama para jóvenes y programas especiales. CARACTERÍSTICAS DEL FESTIVAL
El Festival Latinoamericano de Cortometrajes LAPACHO 2014 es de carácter de técnica, género y temática libres. La inscripción es gratuita. Los gastos de envío de las copias de proyección corren por cuenta de los participantes, no se aceptarán envíos que incurran en costos de tasas, impuestos u otros cargos. Founded by St.Petersburg Filmmaker’s Union, festival is held within St.Petersburg International Film Forum.
This year our festival for the first time focuses on debuts and film school productions, which means that our traditional student film program will be accompanied by two competitions - feature debut films and short fiction, documentary and animation debut films.
We will be happy to offer not only the expanded competition program, but several non-competition, presentation programs, thematic screenings, master-classes and workshops, round tables and exhibitions.
La Rana Film Fest es el Festival Internacional Universitario de Cortometrajes de la Universidad de Salamanca, creado con la intención de impulsar y reconocer la creatividad audiovisual entre la comunidad universitaria.

We continue to accept submissions but please not your film will be submitted to the 2020 edition NOT 2019. This is due to Government elections on Madeira.
Teatro Municipal Baltazar Dias, Funchal, Madeira, Portugal.
The entry fee is 30 / 40 / 50 Euros depending upon submissions date and irrespective of genre and running time. Exhibiting filmmakers will be offered 3 nights accommodation including breakfast on Madeira during the festival.

The call for entries starts on August 16th 2018 and will remain open until April 2nd 2019.
The Madeira Film Festival is non – competitive. Rather than present awards MFF offers delegates the status of ‘AMBASSADOR OF THE LAURISSILVA’ thus helping to preserve and create awareness of Madeira’s endemic Laurissilva forest.
The Madeira Film Festival organisation fervently believes there is no better place in the world to stage a film festival than on the piquant Island of Madeira and there is no better place on Madeira to stage a film festival than in glorious Reid’s Palace Hotel and the Municipal Theatre in Funchal.
The crux of the Madeira Film Festival is to pay homage to the resilience of Madeira’s endemic Laurissilva Forest by screening a slate of films which are expansive, unsettling and profound,films which will hopefully impinge upon the viewers imagination.
One of the most effective measures that can be implemented in order to raise awareness of the Laurissilva forest and subsequently it’s preservation is through the undisputed persuasive strength of audio- visual communication. The aspiration of the Madeira Film Festival is to become one of Europe’s foremost film festivals, by sheer virtue of location there exists an inherent capacity to attain this.
LA COMPETENCIA ELCO 2025
Descubre las categorías de competencia y todo lo que necesitas saber para inscribir tu película en ELCO 2025: Un festival que abre fronteras, llegando a 6 países y 16 ciudades.
El Festival de Cine ELCO clasifica las obras de los aspirantes dentro de tres secciones buscando proyectar el talento que compite con sus distintas obras en el festival. Premiaremos largometrajes, cortometrajes y video clips en nuestra 13 ava edición ELCO.
En la sección de largometrajes premiaremos las categorías ficción, documental y animación en competencia única para Venezuela, asimismo en Argentina, Colombia, España, EEUU y Republica Dominicana, premiaremos exclusivamente al mejor largometraje ficción de cada pais respectivamente, y estos últimos competirán por el premio "Mejor película extranjera ELCO 2025".
De Igual manera en la sección de cortometrajes en Venezuela, premiaremos ficción, documental y animación; y específicamente para incentivar la producción local, en la misma sección de cortometrajes, por primera vez premiaremos al mejor corto de cada región venezolana, es decir que este año reconoceremos el talento local especialmente desde las sedes Caracas, Maracaibo, Calabozo, Ciudad Bolívar, Ciudad Guayana, Mérida, Margarita, Lechería y La Victoria. En Argentina, Colombia, España, EEUU y Republica Dominicana, tambien premiaremos el mejor cortometraje ficción de cada pais respectivamente.
De forma distinta, en la sección de video clip premiaremos mejor video clip ELCO internacional, una competencia en la que se encontraran y calificaran a todos los competidores de los paises ELCO 2025.

La selección de largometrajes 2022 será exhibida en Cinépolis Diana, Cinemanía, Autocinema Coyote y Cinépolis Klic (del 1ro al 6 de noviembre).
Bašta Fest es un festival internacional de cortometrajes de ficción que se celebra en Bajina Bašta, Serbia Occidental. Es un evento anual que se celebra durante el primer fin de semana de julio y dura cuatro días. Debido a la profesión de los fundadores (los actores Jovan Jelisavčić y Maja Šuša), el principal punto de interés del festival es la colaboración entre directores y actores. Creemos que centrarse en la calidad de ese esfuerzo artístico conjunto tendrá un impacto positivo en el posicionamiento del Bašta Fest entre los festivales de cortometrajes. Bašta Fest es de gran importancia para la descentralización de la cultura, ya que ha traído películas, música y programas fuera del programa a esta hermosa región. Una de las prioridades del festival es promover la increíble belleza natural entre un gran número de visitantes. Sin embargo, nuestro principal objetivo es convertir este festival en un emocionante oasis cultural, que apoya a jóvenes artistas locales e internacionales, poniendo énfasis en los cortometrajes de ficción con autenticidad. La selección principal es un programa de cortometrajes de competición, mientras que dos películas se proyectan como parte de un programa especial no competitivo cada año, una durante la inauguración y otra durante la ceremonia de clausura. El último que se proyecta es un primer largometraje serbio, elegido por el equipo de Bašta fest como el más exitoso del año anterior. La entrada a todas las proyecciones en Bašta es gratuita, mientras que siempre se celebran bajo los cielos nocturnos abiertos. Actualmente hay dos lugares oficiales del festival: el parque Borići y el lago Perućac.

Animafest Cyprus Views of the World, started in 2002 as a documentary festival in a small village, and was called the Small Documentary Festival. It was later re-named Countryside Animafest Cyprus – Views of the World focusing exclusively on the art of Animated Film. The festival’s uniqueness is its setting in the countryside, and this continues to this day.
As audiences have grown significantly in recent years the festival has moved to different villages to accommodate the large number of spectators and now at the Lusignian Manor House garden located at the The ancient town of Palaipafos.It continues to draw a very diverse audience, from across the social spectrum. The fact that it draws young people from metropolitan areas to previously unknown rural areas we feel is a very important contribution to the country’s cultural life.
Animafest Cyprus is the main platform for Animated Film in Cyprus and has the official support of the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Cyprus and ASIFA Cyprus. The Festival is a co – organization between the Hambis Printmaking Museum & Views of the World. HELLENIC BANK is the official award sponsor for both Cypriot and International Competition.
The festival is active through the year. It’s main activities include «Animafest Cyprus on tour», which presents the best of Animafest Cyprus at various locations around the country throughout the year, including schools, film festivals, cinemas, galleries, etc, always in non-commercial screenings; in the context of Animafest on tour we are organizing Lectures & workshops in animation, taking place at Universities and public schools. Every November we organize an Academic forum on Animation at the Cyprus University of Technology, bringing together academics from Cyprus and abroad. This forum is organised in collaboration with Media Desk Cyprus
