UNS IST NUR WICHTIG, WAS SIE IN IHREM FILM ZEIGEN, wie KREATIV Sie sind und wie Sie die Geschichte erzählen, das ist alles. Es ist uns egal, ob dein Film bekannte Stars oder unbekannte Namen hat, ob er mit einem Arri oder einer DSLR gedreht wurde, ob er auf tausend Festivals akzeptiert wurde oder nicht. Wir stützen unsere Entscheidungen nicht wie bei anderen Festivals auf dein Geschlecht, deine sexuelle Orientierung, deine Hautfarbe oder deine ethnische Zugehörigkeit. Wir sind gegen die Politik und Bürokratie, die die Filmindustrie überfluten. 100% der akzeptierten Filme stammen aus den Einreichungen, wir laden keine Filme ein. Wir wollen als objektives Festival mit einem harten Wettbewerb und dem kreativsten globalen Kino in unseren Kinos anerkannt werden!

Der FIC AUTOR findet im November in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexiko und Tequila Jalisco statt. Wir werden die besten Filme aus der ganzen Welt präsentieren, von den unerwartetsten und kreativsten Low-Budget-Filmen unbekannter Filmemacher bis hin zu Filmen von erfahrenen/bekannten Regisseuren. Mano a mano, dieser Wettbewerb ist hart! FIC AUTOR wird sich bemühen, eine der wichtigsten kulturellen Veranstaltungen der Stadt zu sein. Wir streben danach, ein internationales Rampenlicht für neue Regisseure zu werden!
In der 7. Ausgabe haben wir unserem ersten Ehrengast, der für den Oscar nominierten Schauspielerin Yalitza Aparicio, den ersten Ehrenring überreicht („Rom“ dir. Alfonso Cuarón) Wir werden weiterhin interessante Talente aus verschiedenen Bereichen einladen.

60Seconds is a Copenhagen-based film festival projecting selected short films in the urban space since 2006, and transforming the streets into URBAN cinemas. The films must be about this years theme, just one minute long and with no sound or credits in it- we will ad the credits in the last editing.
The Festival’s aim is to encourage, through cinematographic art and expression, a reflection on relevant issues for women related to their specific cultural, political and social context. The Festival is a place for intercultural dialogue and dialectical comparison between different cinematographies as well as an opportunity to promote distribution of films that are unlikely to have access to commercial venues.
Herzlich willkommen zur 4. Ausgabe des Meraki Film Festivals. Für diese Ausgabe werden wir sowohl in Berlin (Deutschland) als auch in Madrid (Spanien) sein! Zwei Städte, doppelte Chance, ausgewählt zu werden oder sogar zweimal ausgewählt zu werden!
Unser Festival ist inspiriert von der Bedeutung des Wortes „Meraki „und seiner Beziehung zum Prozess der Erstellung von Filmen und Drehbüchern.
Der Begriff „Meraki „ist für Projekte reserviert, die eine Arbeit der Liebe sind, die während des Schöpfungsprozesses aus absoluter Hingabe hervorgegangen sind. Wenn Sie Ihr Herz und Ihre Seele in die Schaffung eines Films oder Drehbuchs gelegt haben, dann ist dies das Festival für Sie, um Ihren Erfolg und Ihre harte Arbeit zu feiern.
Es ist eine perfekte Veranstaltung, um Ihre Arbeit einem film-leidenschaftlichen und „Kenner“ Publikum zu zeigen. Die Philosophie unseres Festivals ist es, neue Möglichkeiten für die Menschen zu fördern, um Kino zu genießen, wo Kino entsteht. Das AMOR International LGBT+ Film Festival ist das erste internationale Filmfestival in Santiago de Chile, das sich mit dem Thema sexuelle und geschlechtsspezifische Vielfalt unabhängiger und wettbewerbsfähiger Natur befasst. Die siebte Ausgabe des AMOR Festivals findet vom 27. Juni bis 2. Juli 2023 in einem Hybridformat mit digitalen und physischen Vorführungen und Aktivitäten speziell auf nationalem Gebiet statt.

Das AMOR Festival hat sich als eine Veranstaltung von hoher künstlerischer Qualität positioniert, die darauf abzielt, die interessantesten und einzigartigsten nationalen und ausländischen Titel, die Vielfalt zeigen, sowie herausragende Filme, die auf weltbekannten Festivals ausgezeichnet wurden, auszustellen; und als Ort, an dem das Programm strukturiert ist Gleichstellung der Geschlechter bei Wettbewerben und Aktivitäten, um Filmemacherinnen sichtbar zu machen.
Liebe ist völlig transversal mit jeder Sexualität. Deshalb hoffen wir, mit dem AMOR Festival zur Inklusion sexueller Vielfalt beizutragen, das Verständnis zu stärken und die Sichtbarkeit von Sexualitäten durch die siebte Kunst zu feiern.
Das New York State International Film Festival findet im Herzen von New York, Albany, im Linda Performing Arts Studio statt.

ist ein internationales Filmfestival mit Sitz in Aguascalientes, Mexiko. Jedes Jahr empfangen wir Hunderte von Filmen aus der ganzen Welt. The Various Artists independent Film Festival (VAiFF) is pleased to announce the 3rd year of our 21st century festival on the heels of our yearly festival, awards ceremony, workshops and wrap party!
This unique festival was created to provide artists with the opportunity to showcase their creativity and engage in healthy competition with their talented peers. And with the removal of the 2 year project completion stipulation on submissions - we strongly believe that a filmmaker’s passion should not be limited by an expiration date - VAiFF is perfect for filmmakers looking for that ‘big break’ and looking to take ‘one more shot’.
Highlights:
VAiFF screens all content submissions in their entirety. Once the semi-finalists (per submission quarter) have been selected, ONLY YOUR PROJECT'S TRAILER or SIZZLE REEL or (:15)s of your music video will be online for viewers to vote on. There is a 30 day voting period where members of your social media community, friends, and family will view and vote for your project.
The projects in each category with the most/positive amounts of votes will move on to the FINALE competition.
After the FALL quarter, the process continues with the WINTER, SPRING and SUMMER quarters. The nominees from these quarters will compete in the FINALE COMPETITION.
In October of 2020, all the semi-finalists’ films will be screened at the Various Artists independent Film Festival Competition and Awards Ceremony, which will again be held in Chicago, IL.
Filmmakers, industry leaders, and film lovers will enjoy a weekend full of films, networking, Q&A sessions, seminars and a fun-filled wrap party to make this an event people will not want to miss.
Producers securing quarterly nominations will receive prizes, and at the LIVE event, the top 9 winning films will be presented with a VAiFF PERSONALIZED CRYSTAL AWARD along with other perks.
The festival is free of charge and intended for all children from primary and secondary schools who devote their free time to educating themselves in the arts of films or are involved in film clubs.
At the festival you can:

The JEWISH MOTIFS INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL is one of the biggest European festivals focused on Jewish themes in contemporary cinematography. We strive to show our audience the most interesting aspects of Jewish culture, history and tradition, and to promote tolerance and cultural diversity. Every year we receive hundreds of films from all over the world and present those which we feel are the most interesting and inquisitive. We accept only the latest cinematic offerings, produced no earlier than two years prior to the current edition of Festival.
The selected films take part in a competition and are judged by an international jury which includes film directors, screenwriters and critics. The most important criteria are Jewish impact, aesthetic value and craftsmanship.

Während wir uns auf die Zeit nach dem Erdölgeschäft vorbereiten?
Dieses Festival beginnt mit der Absicht, über die bloße Bekanntheit hinauszugehen. Obwohl es wichtig ist, die Öffentlichkeit für die Risiken zu sensibilisieren, die mit der Ausbeutung und Nutzung natürlicher Ressourcen bei der Herstellung fossiler Brennstoffe verbunden sind, besteht nach wie vor das enorme und dramatische Problem der durch Energiemangel verursachten Katastrophen, insbesondere in Bezug auf die Wasserversorgung, die für die Weltbevölkerung von großer Bedeutung sind. Das Hauptziel des Festivals wird daher nicht nur darin bestehen, Probleme im Zusammenhang mit der Nutzung fossiler Brennstoffe in den Vordergrund zu stellen, sondern vor allem Alternativen zu identifizieren, die nach den derzeitigen wissenschaftlichen Erkenntnissen die verschiedenen bekannten Produktionsmethoden berücksichtigen.
Attention to all film talents: From 21 November 2017 until 31 January 2018, filmmakers will have the chance to apply for the LET’S CEE Short Film Competition 2018. Not only are two main prizes waiting to be won, moreover, ten finalists will receive an invitation to participate in the second edition of the LET’S CEE Talent Academy in Vienna!
Between 21 November 2017 and 31 January 2018, filmmakers up to the age of 35 from Central and Eastern Europe, the Caucasus region, Turkey and Austria will have the possibility to submit their short films to the Short Film Competition of the LET’S CEE Film Festival 2018.
However, filmmakers of all ages and from all over the world are welcome as well to send in thematically fitting contributions. Due to the festival’s geographical focus on CEE though, these short films will not be included in the main Short Film Competition, but will very well have the chance to win the Audience Award in the Short Film category and be screened at the festival in the section Short Films | Out of Competition. We furthermore cordially encourage international makers of virtual reality films, 3D productions and avant-garde pieces to apply as we will be offering these genres a stage at our festival as well.
The theme of the Short Film Competition 2018 is TOGETHER OR APART.
Great Britain voted for the Brexit last year and in doing so decided against a EU membership; most recently thousands of Catalan people went to the streets demanding independence from Spain; under the presidency of Donald Trump, the USA is seeking to withdraw from the Paris climate protection agreement and renegotiate various other commercial treaties – these are only three of many examples demonstrating the recent shift of the political mood in numerous countries. A growing migratory pressure, an increasing gap between the rich and poor, as well as justified and unsubstantiated fears – of the consequences of digitalisation, of the loss of jobs and stability and of social change – have discredited globalisation and encouraged a comeback of nationalist and isolationist tendencies, which seemed utterly unfathomable only a few years ago. Even on a national scale, societal cohesion appears to be threatened more and more. How does the growing division of society influence both the community and individuals? Will political agitation, hatred, egotism and greed for profit become the new normal? Well, the situation is critical, but not hopeless, neither on an international nor a national level. There are still representatives of the civil society who make no effort to surrender to the threatening eroding solidarity. Fortunately, there are numerous instances proving how people still advocate for the poor and disadvantaged with great optimism, dedication and empathy – people who rather pay attention to what we have in common instead of what keeps us apart.
The competition’s theme, TOGETHER OR APART, may be manifested in the submitted material in various manners and methods. Interpersonal aspects, such as family and relationship dramas, trials and tribulations, moments of success and happiness or the joint overcoming of challenges can be taken into account just as well as social, political, juridical and/or cultural matters. In other words: everything is possible, as long as it touches on the topic and is done well!
An advisory board chaired by the renowned Austrian-Iranian filmmakers Arash T. Riahi and Arman T. Riahi will choose the best contributions from the submissions for the LET’S CEE Short Film Competition. The short films, which will be screened out of competition, will be selected by the Bosnian-Dutch producer Denis Mujović and festival director Magdalena Żelasko.
After the presentation of the participating productions at the festival, an international jury will decide on the winner of the competing short films and, thus, who will be awarded the main prize – 1,500 Euro and a Urania statuette – at the Awards Ceremony in the Urania Cinema on 20 April 2018. The remaining short films presented during the festival will have, without exception, the chance to win the 1,500 Euro Audience Award in the category Short Film.
All filmmakers who will take part in the main Short Film Competition will additionally profit from their participation. At the expense of the festival, one of the involved filmmakers of each short film will be invited as an official guest*) to Vienna in order to present their work. Those persons will, furthermore, have the opportunity to join the second edition of the LET’S CEE Talent Academy.
15 remaining free seats for the Talent Academy will be filled by Out-of-Competition filmmakers. The most important items on the one-week Academy agenda include the attendance of LET’S CEE Master Classes and LET’S CEE Industry Days, the collaborative finalisation of a short film about Vienna, and the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to pitch a film idea to Raindance film festival director Elliot Grove (and win big!) at the Pitching Competition. Of course, all invited filmmakers will enjoy several Get-togethers, where they can get in touch with successful distributors, directors, producers, actors etc., exchange experiences and new ideas and thus strive to new projects and international collaborations. In order to enable as many filmmakers as possible to visit LET’S CEE and present their work to the festival audience, all participants of the section ‘Short Films | Out of Competition’ will receive free festival accreditations and discounts for the official hotel partner on request.

Chania Cartoon & Animation Festival, is designed to showcase animation short films all around the world, both students and professional. There is special section for greek animation movies.

Este año tendrá lugar la 2ª edición del festival, con ella pretendemos acercar el formato del
cortometraje a todos los públicos, no solo a los amantes del cine y los festivales. La próxima edición
se fundirá con actividades propias del espacio en un ambiente festivo en el que se hará referencia al
cine y al mundo del cortometraje.
Se abre el plazo de recepción de cortometrajes para todos aquellos que quieran participar en esta 2ª
edición, que se celebrará en La Nau Bostik (Barcelona) del 13 al 15 de abril de 2018

Our project sees a return to basics with the new languages. We all know that the web today, allows the exchange shared. Remove obstacles and reduce costs. It facilitates the understanding of another's view and proposes openings and opportunities that were previously impossible. Our goal is to bring the island the work of new interpreters of the new film. Many directors with excellent technical and good ideas, give birth to important messages, offering new emotions with their films.
Not invented nothing, that's for sure, but you can reproduce with new versions, and our organization wants that.
Our Festival is divided into three sessions.
1st Session
From 14 October 2015 and will close on Jan. 14, 2016.
The January 30, 2016 will be made public the names of the directors and the films selected for the final will be in Alghero (Sardynia - Italy) in summer 2016.

2nd Session
January 15, and it will close 15 April 2016.
The April 30, 2016 will be published in the names of the directors and the films selected for the final will be in Alghero (Sardynia - Italy) in summer 2016. Each finalist will be sent certificates and awards.
3rd Session
From April 16 and will close July 17, 2016.
The July 30, 2016 will be published in the names of the directors selected and rewarded with awards and certificates.
The films chosen by the jury selected among all the sections will be shown during the month of September 2016 in the city of Alghero Sardynia - Italy and its surroundings. Dates and locations will be announced during the course of the competition, and published officially on the website of the festival.
We are open to any type of artistic expression that relates to the visual language. Our Festival is ready to welcome seven sections:

For each session, in addition to the premium category for best film will be awarded honorable mentions based on the quality of cinematic content, audio, video, editing, story, film and other aspects
Filmmakers competing in festivals that require not to have their films publicly online can submit their films and share the trailer, teaser or behind the scenes video. Judges will award the best films through private screenings.
