An A+ wins a Special Jury Award and is considered for the Grand Remi! An A score wins a Platinum Remi, an A- wins a Gold, a B+ wins a Silver and a B wins a Bronze Remi. No Awards are made below a B level score. With more than 4,750 category entries, only about 10-15% actually win a Remi Award, but we feel it is the best possible way to run a festival awards system!

The 55th Annual WorldFest-Houston International Film Festival continues its totally dedicated Independent Film screening format for the upcoming April 20-24, 2022 unspooling. WorldFest will screen just 60-80 feature film premieres and over 130 Shorts with a total and absolute emphasis on the American and International Independent feature film and a continuing annual spotlight on award-winning short films and documentary films. Entries Officially Open Aug. 15, 2021. The EarlyBird Entry Deadline is Nov. 15th 2021 – A Mail-By/Enter By/Ship-By Deadline! Entries do not have to arrive by this deadline. The Main Entry Deadline is December 15, 2021. The Late Entry Deadline is Jan 15th 2022!
WorldFest Artistic and Program Director, Kathleen Haney, stated, “We are fiercely dedicated to the Indie Feature and Short Film and look for a quality selection of individual films to maintain a smaller, yet effective program rather than an overly large and unwieldy slate of 150-300 films. WorldFest began in August 1961, as Cinema Arts, an International Film Society. It began screening Independent, foreign & art films. The RKDS FILM FEST was created to bring awareness to the Film Industry in South Georgia. RKDS Entertainment & Media, LLC owners and Filmmakers, Roy Kirkland and Doug Sebastian, have been working diligently to build the film industry in Valdosta, GA. This will be the 2nd annual RKDS Film Festival! Chosen films will be featured and shown on a huge screen in a 1200 cushioned seat historic auditorium. Filmmakers will also have the opportunity to speak, have Q & A with the media and audience during the event in the huge 5,000 s/f multipurpose room. A concession area will be provided along with entertainment from area musicians. RKDS Film Fest will be a Red Carpet event with backdrop banners available for photography. Cinema has always been and will always be a way in which human rights violations can be exposed and denounced. For that, Amnesty International France is pleased to announce the opening of submissions f edition of its annual cinema festival “Au Cinéma pour les droits humains” (To Cinema for Human Rights), which will take place in March 2019. The festival takes place each year in different cities of the south of France and with last year’s edition having had more than 3800 members at the audience. Therefore, we are searching for different entries for our festival. We are searching for films that touch on one or several human rights issues that are connected to any of our campaigns, such as the liberty of expression, women’s rights, impunity, and discriminations amongst other things.

O Galacticat nasceu como uma iniciativa para recuperar os clássicos universais da ficção científica para o público em geral e mergulhar nessa cultura que articula o universo do cinema desde o início. Rural FilmFest, member of Green Film Network (GFN), is an international itinerant film festival, which offers a current overview of international documentary film, fiction and animation in a short, medium and long format related to the rural world, ecology, sustainability and natural and cultural resources. Rural FilmFest is not a common film festival, it is a unique and unrepeatable event. It is a summer camp, with excursions, multi-adventure, geocaching awards ceremony (Yes, you read that right. As a filmmaker you will have to find your trophy at the closing gala via GPS coordinates), international coexistence, dance, party and lifelong friendships. It is the experience of your life and if you attend, you will not want it goes over and you will want to return next year... O Equinale® é um evento que acontece ao longo de quatro dias.
Filmes de entretenimento (filmes para adultos e crianças), documentários, anúncios, música e filmes educacionais serão exibidos.
Também haverá palestras sobre cavalos que definitivamente atrairão o interesse dos jovens e velhos fãs de cavalos.
O destaque deste evento é a doação de prêmios aos filmes nas várias categorias.
Os filmes serão premiados por um júri misto. O júri é composto por pessoas emocionadas por cavalos fora da cena da equitação.
Os filmes para crianças e jovens serão classificados de um júri separado.
Além disso, dois prêmios públicos serão concedidos.
A grande festa de cinema no sábado, na qual os filmes serão premiados, é um evento social.

O ISFFI está sendo organizado por uma organização beneficente sem fins lucrativos - Vikas India Trust, cuja missão é cultivar e promover a arte e a ciência do cinema através da educação e da participação do público.
Diretor do ISFFI sendo ele mesmo um cineasta e também diretor da Associação de Produtores Indígenas de Cinema Associação (IMPPA) da Índia desde 2010 tomou a iniciativa junto com o grupo de cineastas apaixonados.

This submission segment is specifically for novices filmmakers with medium or low budgets, film made by and/or about people of African descent (Urban), filmmaker needn’t be of African descent. However the lead actor/actress must be of African descent or a predominantly black cast. DBUFF offers a fantastic opportunity for undiscovered filmmakers from all over the globe to showcase their Short Urban Film/Documentary at “DBUFF Talent Award”. However only Dutch participants are eligible for an award & prizes.
DBUFF offers a platform to initiatives that stimulate the landscape of urban film. We build bridges, stimulate growth and offer insights into the great potential within the urban film segment.
