Similarly to above you must provide evidence in your application that you have previously had a short shown at Kinofilm Festival to receive a code to submit to this section.
Women in Film
Women play an important role in filmmaking and there are many talents out there and to celebrate Women in Film we have two categories. One programme is a focus solely on Women directors, the second programme category will focus the work of women practitioners in the roles of writers, actresses, producers and Directors of Cinematography but please note the film lead roles must be female led. If you have a film that has a strong female led role or strong female writer etc and you want to be considered for this sectin of the festival please submit to the Women Practitioners category. Film Directors should submit to the Women in Film (directors category).
General Information.
Established in 1995 the festival is now in it's 16th International Shorts edition. Kinofilm has a unique reputation for showcasing the best short films from around the world, whilst being renowned for seeking out diverse, challenging and groundbreaking new films. We welcome filmmakers that are pushing the boundaries of the short film art form. The festival maintains a high standard with many European & International award-winning shorts featured in the Festival. It includes special programmes in North West Shorts (UK), British New Wave, Euro Cine, International Panorama, Kino Exposed (student and youth shorts), low/no budget shorts, Animation and various themed programmes, giving new and emerging filmmakers the opportunity to have their work screened alongside that of critically acclaimed, established short filmmakers.
Please note for 2019, the festival will move dates to February 2020. We will further welcome short films and animations from Eastern Europe as we extend the Polish festival to include more Baltic countries. This year we welcome films for this section from Romania and Russia.
As part of out 16th anniversary we are introducing a features section called Transitions for those short filmmakers that have successfully made the transition from short film to feature. This section is for previous entrants of Kinofilm Festival and can only be entered if you have previously had a short film at Kinofilm Festival. You must provide the name of the short film and year of the festival it was screened in advance of submitting..
All short films should have been completed since January 2018 to present and be no longer than 20 mins (accept documentaries which can be up to 23 mins including credits). PLEASE NOTE FILMS SHOULD NOT BE ONLINE FOR PUBLIC VIEWING. ANY FILMS THAT ARE SEEN TO BE IN THE PUBLIC DOMAIN WILL FACE DISQUALIFICATION.
WE ARE OFFERING STUDENTS (world wide) , GREATER MANCHESTER FILMMAKERS, Youths and community groups, Eastern European Filmmakers and Alumni Filmmakers 20% OF ALL SUBMISSION FEES (please see offers at the top of this entry). The discount is automatically applied when you submit your film to the relevant sections, entry fees start at just $10.00 Please note PROOF OF ELIGIBILITY MUST BE SHOWN in all these categories in advance of submitting the film, you will then receive a code to submit your film.
IRANIAN Filmmakers can submit for free (see above details).
Please note, if your film is selected for screening in one of the cinema screenings you must be able to provide either a DCP or high-quality Bluray of your film. Please contact us if any issues with this and we will try to resolve it by showing the film in one of the other programmes not requiring either of these formats. If it playing in one of our other venues then we will require a digital version, details supplied if your film is accepted.
REFUNDS GIVEN ONLY IN THE FOLLOWING CIRCUMSTANCES: Please note if you make a genuine mistake and submit your film to us not realising that it does not fit all of the criteria, or you have to withdraw it for other reasons, we will refund your fee if the request is made only within the first two weeks from the date of submission. Films withdrawn later for other reasons such as you wish to withdraw it as your film has been accepted in another festival that requires premier status, will not receive a refund. (Please note that any refunds will be after FFW (8%) and PP (3.5%) commission fees already deducted from your fee, you will only be refunded the net amount that the festival receives).

NOCTURNA MADRID, Festival Internazionale del Cinema Fantastico è il Festival più importante del suo genere che si tiene nella città di Madrid.
Il primo e il più importante Festival Freak in Spagna. Accettiamo anche horror e film fantastico. Con un pubblico di 1.800 persone ogni giorno dal lunedì al venerdì e ci piacerebbe proiettare i vostri cortometraggi.
INTRODUZIONE
Il Festival prende in considerazione iscrizioni di tutti i generi, dai cortometraggi ai lungometraggi, e si svolge a «Festival City, USA» subito dopo lo Utah Shakespeare Festival, nel sud dello Utah. A 20 minuti di auto si trovano il Kolob Canyon of Zion National Park, il Cedar Breaks National Monument, la stazione sciistica di Brian Head, il deserto arido, i pastori di pecore, i ranch, le montagne rosse, le montagne verdi e gli avvistamenti di UFO. La posizione è ideale per il regista in cerca di vacanze. È un rifugio per artisti per film, cucina, feste e workshop con professionisti disponibili. Questo festival emergente si svolge ogni autunno a Cedar City.
MISSIONE E OBIETTIVO
Incoraggiare la produzione di media, sia nel mercato indipendente che in quello professionale, che ritraggono la razza umana sotto una luce positiva e applaudire le opere originali che ridefiniscono i media attraverso l'innovazione, la creatività e la sensibilità che illuminano ed educano il pubblico di tutto il mondo.
SUL FESTIVAL
L'International Red Rock Film Festival. Il Red Rock Film Festival è stato fondato nel 2007 nel sud dello Utah ed è diventato rapidamente un festival riconosciuto a livello internazionale con giudici pluripremiati e un rigoroso processo di preselezione. È stato inserito nella lista dei «migliori festival che meritano la partecipazione» di MovieMaker Magazine sia nel 2009 che nel 2013.
SELEZIONE DI FILM DEMOCRATICI
Tutti i film sono esaminati dai membri del nostro comitato di anteprima e valutati in termini di regia, sceneggiatura, recitazione/talento, valori di produzione e valori di post-produzione. Locali o internazionali, amici o sconosciuti, belli o semplici, famosi o meno: tutti i film ricevono lo stesso trattamento e vengono sottoposti alla stessa selezione democratica.
DEMOGRAFICO
La popolazione è ben istruita, composta principalmente da persone con nidi vuoti, studenti universitari e anziani. Il festival mira anche a trovare nuovi film per i saggi, film di qualità per giovani, film sportivi e film con un messaggio.
GENERE
Tutti i generi sono considerati. Sebbene i documentari siano stati l'argomento principale del Red Rock Film Festival, il pubblico del festival spesso si congratula per la varietà e la diversità dei film selezionati per il festival nello Utah. Vengono presi in considerazione film di animazione, arte, bambini, commedia, documentario, drammatico, sperimentale, finzione, narrativa, romanticismo, sport, film studenteschi, horror, suspense, misteriosi, musicali, musicali, temi di guerra, questioni femminili, familiari e umanitarie. La diversità culturale è anche un punto culminante del festival; verranno esplorate culture africane, americane, asiatiche, europee, indigene, isolane, latine, buddiste, cristiane, indù, musulmane, spirituali, yogi e altre culture filosofiche, governative, storiche e artistiche.
CONCORSO:
Sono presi in considerazione tutti i generi, inclusi film di animazione, documentari, sperimentali, fiction, video musicali e film realizzati da studenti. Il festival ha diverse categorie di concorso, tra cui sottocategorie uniche di featurette e cortometraggi.
I direttori del programma possono anche selezionare categorie aggiuntive a propria discrezione, a seconda del numero di candidature qualificate ricevute.
OGNI FILM MERITA UNA CASA
Dipende tutto da quanto ci piace un film e da dove lo collochiamo. Vogliamo solo un buon film originale che mostri la nostra missione. Ci aspettiamo che alcuni film siano fantastici da distribuire nei cinema, altri per la televisione, altri per la classe, per le nostre serie di film o un'ottima anteprima. Per incoraggiare lo spirito indipendente, Red Rock si impegna a trovare una casa per tutti i film che si qualificano per la competizione. Ciò offre al regista la possibilità di dare visibilità al proprio lavoro anche se non riesce a partecipare alle finali del festival. Il festival ospita anche un mercatino di mini-film, proiezioni speciali durante tutto l'anno e forniamo raccomandazioni ad altri festival.
MERCATO DEL CINEMA
Lo Utah Film Market è una piccola sezione del festival in cui registi e altri professionisti del settore possono vedere i film da soli nella biblioteca del festival o in speciali proiezioni di settore offerte a finalisti selezionati e ad altri film preferiti del festival.
Il ficmonterrey è alla costante ricerca di narrazioni umane che si basino su punti di vista che emergono da un mondo in costante movimento e trasformazione, in interconnessione e innovazione per la sua selezione.
Il Festival cerca film con il potere di risiedere nella memoria collettiva del pubblico, con il potere di commuovere e creare un dialogo con loro.
Uno degli interessi principali del team organizzativo di ficmonterrey è incoraggiare nuove prospettive, coloro che sono giovani non perché sono giovani, ma perché sono freschi, per rimanere critici, per realizzarsi con l'innovazione e avventurarsi in vari rischi.
L'obiettivo generale di ficmonterrey è riunire a Nuevo León un pubblico di persona e uno virtuale in tutto il Messico, prima di una selezione di cinema contemporaneo messicano e internazionale creato da registi con visioni diverse, fresche, rischiose, critiche e innovative. Allo stesso modo, siamo interessati a fornire uno spazio di formazione che promuova l'incontro tra registi, film e pubblico; e attività che promuovano la produzione cinematografica, in particolare quella femminile e regionale.
L'International Short Film Festival Psarokokalo è un festival annuale che si svolge in Grecia dal 2007. Il festival mira a fornire una vetrina per il lavoro di nuovi registi di tutto il mondo e a promuovere la diversità e la ricchezza del cortometraggio. Il festival fa parte di un progetto volto a ricercare, promuovere e sviluppare l'arte del cinema. Il programma del festival include proiezioni di cortometraggi provenienti dalla Grecia e dall'estero, nonché eventi audiovisivi, conferenze, masterclass, mostre e concerti dal vivo. La qualità delle sue proiezioni, conferenze, mostre è riuscita a renderlo un punto di riferimento per cinefili, registi, professionisti e nuovi artisti. Ogni anno le attività del festival si sono ampliate, ricevendo una maggiore partecipazione da diversi paesi e ottenendo un maggiore sostegno da registi e professionisti. Il festival mira a viaggiare oltre i confini per sviluppare uno spirito di amicizia e cooperazione con festival e registi internazionali di tutto il mondo. Il Psarokokalo International Short Film Festival è gestito da Kyklos, un'organizzazione senza scopo di lucro con sede ad Atene il cui scopo è promuovere azioni legate al cinema e alla consapevolezza del pubblico sulle questioni ambientali. «Kyklos» in greco significa ciclo e la visione del ciclo è il rispetto dei diritti fondamentali, tra cui libertà, pari opportunità e diversità culturale
MRFF è un festival internazionale innovativo che esplora e accoglie opere realizzate attraverso processi di rinnovamento, crescita ed evoluzione del linguaggio cinematografico: opere originali che esprimono le nuove tendenze si aprono a nuovi orizzonti e offrono possibili sguardi diversi. Proiezioni di film, performance live, installazioni, panel, Lectio Magistralis, Focus on saranno gli eventi del festival.
L’intuizione e l’ideazione è arrivata partendo dall’analisi del momento storico fortemente caratterizzato dalla centralità della Rete. La Rete e le tecnologie open source danno la possibilità ai creativi digitali di generare nuovi linguaggi cinematografici, nuovi modelli di produzione culturale ed economica.
La quarta edizione si svolgerà a Roma dal 17 al 20 giugno 2015.
Il Festival è organizzato dall'Associazione CineMart di Pineda de Mar, è un festival internazionale con l'obiettivo di promuovere uno spazio specifico per la scoperta, la proiezione e la diffusione di cortometraggi.
L'asse tematico principale del festival è quello della commedia; tuttavia, il tema e il genere delle produzioni sono gratuiti. La qualità e l'originalità avranno la priorità come obiettivo principale e che la produzione sia senza precedenti.
Creato per incoraggiare i creatori di contenuti provenienti da ambienti unici a condividere le loro storie durante il Festival di Cannes, il Diversity in Cannes Short Film & Web Series Showcase promuoverà il lavoro di diversi registi (pensiero, razza, genere, età, religione, abilità fisiche e orientamento sessuale) e li riconoscerà a livello globale per i loro successi nel cinema.
I sei-otto migliori film e serie web tra TUTTE le candidature idonee, secondo quanto stabilito da Beyond Borders: Diversity in Cannes e dai suoi partner, saranno presi in considerazione in concorso e proiettati durante il Diversity in Cannes Short Film & Webseries Showcase a maggio 2018 in occasione di un evento indipendente durante il Festival di Cannes. I vincitori saranno determinati dalla giuria e annunciati durante la vetrina.

The Diabolique International Film Festival takes place September 19-20, 2014 in Bloomington, Indiana for the premiere showcase of independent genre cinema, featuring horror, sci-fi, fantasy and animation.
The Diabolique International Film Festival began more than 8 years ago. Since 2007 we have screened over 250 films from more than a dozen countries, and from almost every state in the US. We’ve had the honor of hosting visiting filmmakers from around the country, and from around the world. Over the years, we have gained a reputation as a festival that truly values independent genre films and the people who make them. Many of the movies from our past festivals have been picked up by major distributors, and our event has provided numerous networking opportunities.
As a result, we’ve been featured in a variety of national publications, having been recognized by MovieMaker Magazine as one of the “Top 25 Film Festivals Worth the Entry Fee,” and one of the “13 Horror Film Festivals to Die For.”
The new year brings some big changes to the festival, including a new name, new venue, and new sponsors. We’re particularly excited to announce our partnership with one of the fastest growing genre publications in the world, Diabolique Magazine. 4th INTERNATIONAL CHANGING PERSPECTIVES SHORT FILM FESTIVAL REGULATIONS
ABOUT FESTIVAL
Initiated by Katadrom Arts and Culture and Social Politics Association based in Istanbul- ‘The 4th International Changing Perspectives Short Film Festival’ will be held between the dates of 6th - 8th of May 2016 in Istanbul, to then continue its yearly tour across other cities: Berlin, Yogyakarta, and other cities around the world.
The Festival will screen about 100 short features, short documentaries, short animations etc. of young filmmakers, students and teams who express different perspectives, concepts and imaginations about border.
Festival Date: 6 - 8 May 2015, Istanbul
Deadline for the submission of the films: 28th of March 2016
The topic of 2016 - “Border”
This year, the main topic of the festival will be “Border”. There will be a festival section about 15 films, a photography exhibition and a panel discussion focusing on the main topic.
There are so many different borders: physical borders, geographical borders, social borders, mental borders, political borders, sexual borders, religious borders, imaginary borders – to name just a few.
To be born or to live on one side or the other of a border is often random.
However, it’s not so easy to let go of the constrictions borders create, as our identities are often shaped upon a deep conviction of belonging to one, unique place, country, religion or gender. During the festival we want to explore the different aspects of border providing a platform for all the diverse perspectives on the topic. Besides 2016 thematic-focused program, the festival will also screen films under its traditional sections: Exchange Experience, Cultural Insights, Ridicule, Umbrella.
FILM SUBMISSIONS
Short films which do not exceed 20 minutes – (documentaries less than 30 minutes), music videos, experimental films etc. – all with English subtitles – will be screened during the festival.
• Films should be no longer than 20 minutes
• Documentaries should be no longer than 30 minutes
• Films dealing with the topics mentioned above will be preferred.
• All films in a language other than English must have English subtitles.
• After official selection of a film the festival is qualified to use excerpts from the film, with a maximum of 1 minute for promotional purposes (The total duration of the excerpts is not to exceed more than 10% of the film running time).
• As Changing Perspectives Film Festival is a take-away Festival it should be accepted that films will be screened in different places apart from the festival

Statement of agreement
I hereby confirm that I have read all of the rules and regulations listed in the International Changing Perspectives Short Film Festival (icpsff) submission guidelines and the terms and conditions listed in the release form, before submitting my film work mentioned above, to the Changing Perspectives Short Film Festival 2016. I also confirm that I understand and agree to abide by all of the guidelines, rules and regulations posted by icpsff relating to the submission of my work to the Changing Perspectives Short Film Festival in general and in particular.
I understood and agreed that, if my film will be selected for the festival program as a take away film festival, icpsff can screen my film during the year in different cities and countries maximum 5 times at a festival selection from the program. Film makers will just be informed of other screenings by e-mail.
The Festival Committee is responsible for resolving all issues that are beyond the scope of Festival rules & regulations and disputes or disagreements that might occur.

FESTIVAL INTERNAZIONALE DEL CINEMA PER BAMBINI E GIOVANI si tiene ogni anno con l'obiettivo di presentare una panoramica delle nuove produzioni cinematografiche per bambini e adolescenti, sui materiali migliori e più diversi della regione. Cerca inoltre di motivare i distributori locali ad acquistare nuovi film, programmi TV e nuovi formati con la sua ampia programmazione. Divercine è un festival aperto, non ha mai addebitato l'invio di opere alla tua selezione.
True to David Reuben's classic book "Everything You Always Wanted to Know About Sex * But Were Afraid to Ask " we love movies that give us new insights on topics like sexual liberation, erotic fantasies, BDSM, sexual shame, cultural sexual diffrences, the "new" prudery, pornography, the impact of the internet porn on our sexuality and sex activism. The discourse with the filmmakers and actors is very important to us. Therefore we try to invite as many protagonists and directors as possible to our festival and thus offer the audience the opportunity for a dialogue.
Siamo un festival indipendente dedicato a riunire musicisti e registi affermati in un forum per celebrare i cortometraggi. Il Dublin International Short Film and Music Festival celebra l'importanza artistica, educativa e storica dei cortometraggi e della musica. Offre agli artisti cinematografici indipendenti una piattaforma per condividere il loro lavoro e creare un dialogo con la comunità. Promuove la discussione e lo studio del cinema.

FARO 1540 - Associazione per la difesa e la promozione del patrimonio ambientale e culturale di Faro, dopo il successo delle ultime edizioni di FARCUME - Festival internazionale dei cortometraggi di Faro, organizza l'undicesima edizione di questo Festival che si terrà nella città di Faro dal 26 al 28 settembre 2025.
Questa 15a edizione di FARCUME intende esporre e promuovere opere nella sezione cortometraggi della durata massima di 18 minuti, suddivise in tre categorie: Animazione, Documentario e Finzione.
A questo festival, tutti i cittadini nazionali e stranieri possono partecipare, individualmente o in gruppo, semplicemente rispettando le disposizioni del regolamento, compilando un modulo di registrazione e inviando le loro opere all'organizzazione entro l'11 luglio 2025, previa preselezione.
Lo scopo principale di questo Festival rimane lo stesso: pubblicizzare e lanciare nuovi talenti e promuovere presso il pubblico le opere eccellenti che vengono realizzate in questo settore ma non sempre hanno la promozione desiderata e meritata.
In altre parole, FARCUME in un ambiente informale, di buon umore e di atmosfera rilassata intende premiare e riconoscere la dedizione, l'impegno, la creatività e il merito di registi, attori e team tecnici che, con mezzi modesti, possono sviluppare opere di grande qualità.
Considerati i principi e gli obiettivi di «FARO 1540", che ha anche lo status di ONG (Organizzazione non governativa per l'ambiente), il Festival continuerà ad avere una forte preoccupazione e sensibilità ambientale, avvisando i partecipanti di non presentare cortometraggi che rivendicano o incoraggiano la mancanza di rispetto per l'ambiente, la disuguaglianza dei diritti umani o l'abuso di animali. Sarà ulteriormente sviluppato un piano di gestione ambientale specificamente «progettato» per questo evento per garantire l'ottimizzazione delle risorse necessarie per la promozione e la realizzazione dell'evento e la gestione dei rifiuti generati.
