The "Oregon Short Film Festival" is a showcase of independent short films from around the world for the Portland, Oregon audience in the Northwest USA. One full Saturday of 100 short films will be compiled and screened at the Avalon Theater on Blu-Ray DVD. All short films that are under 20:00 minutes in length are eligible for submission. We are looking for creative works with good acting, original ideas, fresh concepts, great production value and strong writing. The Oregon Short Film Festival is diverse accepting films from all cultures, races, religions, lifestyles and ideologies. Women in Focus emerged in 2009 with the aim of encouraging the promotion and protection of women's rights through film, through the dissemination of films that allow give visibility to the violation of their rights and encourage debate. In this way he sought to create an open standard for men and women around the world space where open dialogue between genres and promote the active participation of the whole society to defend the full exercise of human rights, with a focus on the situation women in the world. FICUNAM, the UNAM International Film Festival, was founded by the National Autonomous University of Mexico in 2011. The intention of the Festival is to promote the exhibition in Mexico of critical and innovative cinema, both domestic and foreign, in a space open to reflection, discussion of ideas, and networking. The editorial line of the Festival represents its political stance, in terms of aesthetics’ politics.
The seventh edition of FICUNAM will be held from February 21st to 28th, 2017. The award ceremony will take place in Mexico City on Tuesday 28th of February, 2017.
Since its inception, the "Festival of cinema unusual de Buenos Aires" has proposed to investigate the least explored aspects of the current film production in order to meet the expectations of those who yearn for a different filmic vision. The Exposure Short Film Festival returns for it's 2nd year on February 11th 2017!
Hosted by the University of Glasgow's Queen Margaret Union, the festival aims to give amateur filmmakers the opportunity to show off their wonderful work to a wider audience, receive feedback from experienced judges, and have the chance to win the coveted Best Picture award trophy, as well as a range of other prizes. Most importantly Exposure promises to be a day of celebration for short film and hopes to give the directors, writers, animators, and actors involved an easy and helpful step forward in their future careers.
With multiple short film screenings throughout the day showing a variety of talents across a range of different genres the festival will be a treat for all film lovers. The Union's bars, cafe, and restaurant will be open for the duration of the festival allowing audience members to attend any showing they please and enjoy the talent on show with a few cheap drinks, some great food, and hopefully have the chance to meet the filmmakers themselves!

AnimArte ist ein internationales Festival für Animationsfilme von Kindern und Jugendlichen für Kinder und Jugendliche.
Das AnimArte Festival ist nur für animierte Kurzfilme!
Die maximale Dauer jedes Films beträgt 15 Minuten.
Im Jahr 2025 findet die 18. Ausgabe von AnimArte statt und das Festival wird im November stattfinden!
Für internationale Studierende (Studierende aus der ganzen Welt) gibt es zwei Wettbewerbskategorien (nur für animierte Kurzfilme): Maxi (18 Jahre oder älter) und Mini (unter 18 Jahren).
Für internationale Fachkräfte gibt es zwei Kategorien: „Umweltfilme“ und „Weltkulturen“.
Die ausgewählten Animationen werden nach dem vom Organisationsausschuss des Festivals vorbereiteten Programm projiziert.
Wenn der Film Dialoge in einer anderen Sprache als Portugiesisch enthält, muss eine Textdatei mit den Dialogen des Films auf Englisch (wenn möglich mit dem Timecode) an die E-Mail gesendet werden: animarte@vouanimarte.com.br.
Eine Version des Films mit englischen Untertiteln ist willkommen, um die Übersetzung und Untertitelung für das Portugiesische zu erleichtern. Die Version, die auf dem Festival gezeigt wird, muss jedoch ohne Untertitel eingereicht werden.
Es gibt auch zwei exklusive Kategorien (nur für animierte Kurzfilme) nur für Studierende, die an Bildungseinrichtungen in Brasilien eingeschrieben sind: Maxi (Universitätsstudenten) und Mini (Gymnasiasten und Grundschüler).
Die Römerstraße VIA XIV durchquert seit 2.000 Jahren das Monterrey-Tal. Heute vermitteln uns die Straßen und Eisenbahnen, von denen einige auf den alten römischen Straßen gebaut wurden und andere, die parallel und in kurzer Entfernung verlaufen, eine Vorstellung von ihrer Bedeutung und Gültigkeit.
In all dieser Zeit waren sie ein Weg für neue Ideen, Fortschritt und Kultur. Das Kurzfilmfestival Verin möchte diesen Weg der Kultur fortsetzen und den Blick von Künstlern aus aller Welt auf Karneval, Auswanderung und Grenze lenken.

4th Kolkata International Wildlife & Environment Film Festival-2018
Das Internationale Filmfestival von Miniboxoffice ist jetzt das Internationale Filmfestival von Noida. Nach drei erfolgreichen Ausgaben des Miniboxoffice International Film Festival, das hauptsächlich für Kurzfilme geeignet ist, wird jetzt nur noch größer mit der Hinzufügung von Spielfilmen. Im Jahr 2014 hat die Geschäftsleitung von Miniboxoffice es auf den Namen der sich am schnellsten entwickelnden Stadt Indiens in „NOIDA“ umbenannt. Es ist eine Hommage an die Stadt, in der das Miniboxoffice im Jahr 2010 beginnt und die Stadt selbst das Haus der größten Filmstadt Nordindiens ist.
Ziel des 9. Noida International Film Festival-22 ist es, ein großartiges Kino von weltweiten Filmemachern im großen Stil zu präsentieren und gleichzeitig professionelle Vernetzung zu bieten und den Teilnehmern aktuelle Trends des Kinos vorzustellen. Das Festivalziel ist es, unabhängige Filmemacher zu befähigen und sich zu einer erstklassigen Filmveranstaltung zu verpflichten, die das Wachstum unabhängiger Filmemacher fördert.
Die NIFF-Ausgaben von 2014 bis 2021 waren mit Beteiligung von Filmemachern aus mehr als 90 Ländern ein großer Erfolg. Der NIFF-22 wird voraussichtlich viele Meilensteine in Richtung der Entwicklung des Independent Cinema erreichen. Damit begrüße ich alle Filmemacher, sich der Bewegung anzuschließen, die ein Höchstniveau an Gedanken und Kultur verschiedener Nationen in Form eines bereichernden und unterhaltsamen Kinos bringt.
The first AfryKamera Film Festival was organized by FilmGramm Foundation in cooperation with the South African Embassy during the months of April-June 2006. It aimed to use cinematography to bring Africa to the attention of the Polish public. The 1st AfryKamera premiered in Warsaw and also ran in Krakow, Poznan, Lodz, Torun and Konin. The unbelievable media interest and good ticket sales during the first festival in 2006 confirmed our belief that Africa is a theme of immense interest to a growing number of people. Since the very 1st edition, AfryKamera has been well covered in the Polish media, which confirms the great marketing potential of such an event for Africa in general, as well as, for sponsors and patrons.
As it stands AfryKamera is the first African Film Festival in Central and Eastern Europe as well as the largest African-themed event in Poland and the wider region.
AfryKamera has managed to occupy a niche in the film festival market – although there are many international film festivals, they generally show a limited range of African films. AfryKamera is therefore the only festival in Poland dedicated purely to films from the continent. In the past few years the festival has decided to explore new avenues not only in the art of cinematography, but also in the presentation of African art, music, and culture.
The main events of the African Film Festival AfryKamera take place in Warsaw, Poland, traditionally in either Kino Luna or Kinoteka, the capital city's premier arthouse cinemas. The event in 2018 will last 10 days and presents 15-25 full length features and documentaries as well as some 20 short films from around the continent and from the African diapora. The key motto of the festival is "Made in Africa", as the focus is put on the quality of moviemaking on the continent and the enhanced capacity to make world-class movies.
