El Festival Internacional de Cine de Valdivia exhibe cine chileno e internacional en cinco categorías competitivas: Largometraje, Largometraje Juvenil, Cortometraje de Latinoamérica y el Caribe, Cortometraje Infantil de Latinoamérica y el Caribe, y Cortometraje Chileno de Estudiantes de Cine y Audiovisual. Su programación no competitiva incluye retrospectivas históricas, focos de cineastas contemporáneos, cine político, de vanguardia, de género y una sección de cine para niñas, niños y sus familias.
1. OBJETIVOS:
El FICValdivia busca ofrecer a los y las realizadoras audiovisuales un espacio de difusión y competencia, junto con promover la producción audiovisual nacional e internacional de calidad artística.

El certamen tendrá lugar en la ciudad de Valdivia entre el 13 y el 19 de octubre de 2025.
El Festival de Cine Comprometido de Guadalajara (FESCIGU) celebra este año su 23ª edición, en su sede (en el exilio) de Azuqueca de Henares. A lo largo de estos años, hemos tratado de acercar a nuestro público lo mejor del mundo del cortometraje, con un contenido social, reivindicativo o simplemente humanista. Caben todos los géneros, siempre que no se haga apología de la violencia. El FESCIGU es festival preseleccionador para los Premios Goya. Este año, además, el tema central es LA PAZ, por lo que los cortometrajes que traten sobre este tema serán especialmente bien recibidos.

The Seventh International Festival Les Saisons Parisiennes is organized by Les Saisons Parisiennes Films, Paris.
Festival will take place in the space of the St.Petersburg Film House. All the films will necessarily leave in Grand Tour 2018-2019.
The Les Saisons Parisiennes International Festival will offer a short fiction program in the following categories:
French films from France and other countries
Non-French films from other countries
The general theme: Paris and the cities of the world
The theme of the Festival: Comedy only (romantic, black, dramatic, etc.)
Competing for the Awards: Best Short Film and Best Feature
The Prize will be awarded to filmmakers or potential distributors.

El Festival de Cine de Ponferrada es un evento especializado en la difusión y promoción de Cortometrajes de cualquier parte del mundo sin tener en cuenta su formato de producción, distribución, exhibición, categoría, género o temática.
Cine de corta duración que, además de ser un recurso de aprendizaje para los nuevos profesionales de la industria cinematográfica y un medio de promoción para dar el salto al largometraje, también puede ser una forma de expresión, narración y experimentación muy creativa y libre, sin dependencias del mercado.
También apostamos por poner en valor aquellas películas que, independientemente de su duración, reflejen la diversidad cultural, social y lingüística de cualquier región del mundo como parte de la memoria de los pueblos y del patrimonio audiovisual universal más desconocido.
La novena edición de 24 Risas por Segundo, Festival Internacional de Cine y Comedia, se realizará del 6 al 11 de mayo en la Ciudad de México y por eso CONVOCAMOS a realizadores mexicanos y extranjeros a inscribir sus películas de comedia (cortometrajes y largometrajes) para formar parte de nuestra programación.
El festival «Corto di sera» se celebra en agosto en Itala, en la provincia de Messina desde 2012.
La participación en el Festival es gratuita y está abierta a todos los autores italianos y extranjeros, cineastas individuales o colectivos/asociaciones.
- El Festival está dedicado exclusivamente a cortometrajes que duren menos de 25 minutos.
- Se aceptará cualquier género (documental, ficción, animación clásica y/o digital)
- Todas las obras extranjeras rodadas en cualquier idioma que no sea el italiano deben estar subtituladas en italiano. No se seleccionarán cortometrajes extranjeros no subtitulados.
- Cada autor podrá inscribir hasta un máximo de tres obras.
- Los organizadores se reservan la posibilidad de crear secciones adicionales.
El propósito del festival es promover la producción independiente de cortometrajes en todas sus formas como lenguaje artístico y expresivo. El objetivo es crear un evento anual en Italia donde cineastas, realizadores de vídeo, profesionales o aficionados al cine puedan reunirse y conectar diferentes experiencias.

Animation is a fantastic, creative medium capable of bringing a storyteller’s inner visual world to life and sharing it with audiences everywhere. As the capabilities of computer-generated imagery continue to increase, there are fewer and fewer limitations as to what can be created on the screen.
Anime means "animation" in Japanese. However, in English the word Anime is often used to describe the very distinct style of Japanese animation. In some ways, Anime can be used to explore the everyday lives and fears of young people more effectively than Western Animation.

CATACUMBA UNDERGROUND FILM FESTIVAL es un proyecto cultural, artesanal y resistente que desde el año 2000 se desarrolla en el municipio valenciano de Godella y que utiliza como elemento vertebrador la proyección de trabajos audiovisuales recientes que conviven durante la celebración de este peculiar festival.
En su XVII edición el festival pretende recoger propuestas cinematográficas independientes que ofrezcan una mirada alternativa creada a partir de la transversalidad que permite el lenguaje fílmico. Obras que de algún modo subviertan la moral, desarticulen las represiones, nuestras filias y fobias y que evidencien los defectos estructurales de la sociedad en la que habitamos. En los márgenes de la industria del entretenimiento encontraremos propuestas que pueden conducirnos hacia modelos de expresión diferentes que permiten devolver al cine narrativo la categoría expresiva que pretende invitar a la reflexión.
Entendemos que la producción cinematográfica está viviendo un proceso creativo que potencia la fusión entre géneros, avivando la originalidad y la diversidad del medio, nos adscribimos a todas estas posibilidades. Desde CATACUMBA queremos reflejar esta realidad creativa, dando cabida a un mayor número de obras, a veces inclasificables, pero que actúan como espejos reflectores de la extraña realidad que vivimos.
En formato cortometraje y largometraje tendréis la posibilidad de sentir todos los miedos, sueños, filias y fobias que nuestros directores pretenden transmitiros. Conoceréis géneros otrora denostados e infravalorados, pero que han contado con títulos transcendentales en la historia del cine y que se han convertido en auténticos referentes de la filmografía universal. Cine reflector de nuestra realidad social, cine que nos convence cada día más de que la realidad siempre superará a la ficción.
El XVI° Festival Internacional de Cortometrajes de la Cuenca del Salado se celebrará en Rauch (Argentina) del 6 al 12 de octubre de 2025.
El Festival está organizado por la Asociación Civil "Cineclub El Gabinete" de Rauch, con el apoyo de la Dirección de Cultura de la Municipalidad de Rauch, el Instituto Cultural Bonaerense y el aval de la Facultad de Arte de la UNICEN (Universidad Nacional del Centro de la Provincia de Buenos Aires).

This makes it geographically the largest film festival in India. The festival screens films across genres from around the globe. A unique feature of JFF is that the cast and crew of a few select films are invited to a discussion with the audience on various elements of the film. An important aspect of the festival is to generate a discussion on the various aspects of Cinema and its impact on society and popular culture.
One of the key advantages JFF has, is ‘no submission fee’, which is a big advantage and an attraction for young and debut film makers.
