El Festival Internacional de Cine de Eko (EKOIFF), que se celebra anualmente, es un festival internacional de cine que se celebra en la megaciudad costera de Lagos, en el suroeste de Nigeria.
Fue fundado y creado por Hope Obioma Opara en 2009 y Hope Obioma Opara es también la directora ejecutiva de Supple Communications Limited, empresa bajo la cual el festival es Holden. También es editor de la revista Supple, una revista sobre festivales de cine y cultura en África que publica avances y reseñas de películas y entrevistas en www.supplemagazine.org.
La misión del Festival Internacional de Cine de Eko es promover la apreciación del arte y la cultura a través de las artes y las ciencias cinematográficas y aumentar el turismo en Nigeria.
El festival internacional de cine Eko es propiedad (marca comercial y derechos de autor) y está organizado por Supple Communications Limited.
La edición inaugural se celebró en la megaciudad de Lagos en verano, del 7 al 12 de julio de 2010, en los cines Genesis Deluxe de The Palms en Lekki, Lagos, con cineastas de Nigeria y de todo el mundo

HEMOGLOZINE es un evento cultural consolidado a nivel nacional e internacional. Un Festival de cine que apuesta por los géneros con mayor influencia y adeptos en todo el mundo, el terror, la ciencia ficción y el género fantástico.
En resumen, HEMOGLOZINE consiste en:
Un certamen internacional donde presentar nuevas obras de cine de terror y fantástico.
Un amplio número de actividades paralelas complementarias con el género.
Tras varias ediciones, desde el año 1998, Hemoglozine es ya cita obligada dentro de la oferta cultural de Ciudad Real y su provincia, debido a que no solo se limita al clásico festival de cine sino que comprende toda una semana de actividades relacionadas con el género.
La pasada edición Hemoglozine obtuvo una excelente valoración de público y crítica, consolidándose como uno de los certámenes más importantes del país en los géneros de terror y fantástico.
La empresa estatal de Mogilev «Kinovideoprokat» le da la bienvenida y le informa que en septiembre de 2025 en la ciudad de Mogilev, República de Bielorrusia, se celebrará el XXVII Festival Internacional de Películas de Animación «Animaevka-2025".
Con el paso de los años, el festival se ha convertido en una celebración de la animación para niños y adultos. Los eventos se llevan a cabo en todos los centros regionales de Bielorrusia.
Para su visualización, se organizan proyecciones de películas de programas competitivos y no competitivos, reuniones creativas con los creadores de películas de animación, clases magistrales y exposiciones de bellas artes, decorativas y aplicadas para niños.
Como parte del tratamiento:
- competencia de películas de animación;
- concurso de creatividad de animación infantil
- concurso de bellas artes, artes decorativas y aplicadas para niños.
Resulta que en cuestión de Cine ni son todos los que están ni están todos los que son y solo accedemos a una mínima parte, hay mucho cine ignorado o que no llega a las pocas salas que aún quedan, resulta que en cuestión de pueblos tampoco son todos los que están ni están todos los que son, hay mucha aldea en este país que es ignorada e ignoramos, si ya unimos cine y pueblos, ni están ni son, es el vacío, si continuamente desaparecen salas de cine en grandes ciudades que diremos de los pequeños pueblos... . Si hay un cine que no llega porque no interesa aunque sea interesante y si hay aldeas perdidas que poca gente conoce y a las que no llega ningún tipo de cine, porque no unir conceptos?
La aldea la tenemos en Asturias, Puertas de Cabrales, en pleno Parque Natural de los Picos de Europa, una aldea que igual no llega a los 50 habitantes en invierno y que pertenece al Concejo de Cabrales, ya tenemos queso y sidra y fabes y manzanas, el Naranjo de Bulnes y gente dispuesta pero, entre otras cosas, falta el Cine, no existe ni una sola sala de exhibición en muchos km a la redonda y ni una en todo el oriente asturiano
La idea es llevar a esa aldea que nunca tuvo cine y por unos días el cine que cuesta ver. queremos dejar constancia que este Proyecto no es único, nace de una idea compartida con otras muchas muestras, festivales y exhibiciones que ya se mueven desde hace tiempo por pueblos pequeños, si hubo una idea rondando por nuestras cabezas el contacto con la Muestra de Cine de Ascaso, del Cine de viajes del Ocejón y la invitación a participar en la Red Cine Grande en Pequeño en que coincidimos con otras muchas muestras que ya realizan una labor importante o que estaban como nosotros al inicio, nos abrió un mundo, gracias a todos, no solo por lo del cine sino y por ser tan buena gente.
The Baghdad International Film Festival (BIFF) tends to support a new cinema in Iraq - a cinema for multiculturalism with a focus on the values of freedom, democracy, human rights and justice
The cinema for multiculturalism offers more than a simple presentation of the works. BIFF works as a platform with an intercultural forum bringing together young practitioners and professionals from different countries, cultures and ethnics. Films of all genre, lengths and formats will be shown in the 6 competitions: Long Fiction | Short Drama | Documentaries | Arab Woman Filmmakers | Human rights Images and New Horizons. The section New Horizons is dedicated to Iraqi filmmakers. All other sections are open for all participants. The festival’s 1st edition was in December 2005 and it organized by ( Iraqi association for culture & cinema development ) , an independent NGO registered officially in Iraq and works under the Iraqi law.

How our monthly festival works…
Our Monthly Festival is a showcase of Short films from around the world, screening 50 minutes of short film in the first half, followed by our selected Feature Short in the second. We also host a Q&A with filmmakers able to attend and talks with local creatives.
At each event, two films will be selected to win either one of our awards:

The Directors Choice Award
Films included in the first half are nominated for our 'The People's Choice Award’; This is evidently voted for our audiences on the night and votes are calculated collectively from all of our venues.
In the second half of the night we host our 'Feature Short', one film no longer than 50 minutes. This is our headliner for the event. This film is awarded, ‘The Directors Choice Award’, one that our Judging panel felt deserves recognition.

-> All films must have been made in or after 2012 and have English subtitles (unless English is the main language spoken); A creation date does not apply in case of the screen writings from being stopped for submissions, but the submitted must be in English or have a copy translated in English;

El Festival presenta CORTOMETRAJES DE ANIMACIÓN en varias secciones:

This project involves bringing students and teachers from different countries to participate with their films . Part of the program are even lectures and workshops of the movie professionals from different countries about film issues. We think that is very important for a student to confront with other students from around the world, so to know different cultures, different thoughts and to analyse the way their colleges work. We hope that First Step Fest will be a good chance young filmmakers in Albania to get inspiration and continue their dream.
