The Festival de Cine Comprometido de Guadalajara (FESCIGU) celebrates its 23rd edition this year at its (exile) headquarters in Azuqueca de Henares (Guadalajara, Spain). Over the years, we have strived to bring our audiences the best in the world of short films, with social, activist, or simply humanistic content. All genres are welcome, as long as they do not condone violence. FESCIGU is a pre-selection festival for the Goya Awards. This year, the central theme is PEACE, so short films that address this topic will be especially welcome.

Woodpecker International Film Festival (WIFF) is India's premier competitive film festival focusing on issue-based cinema. Launched in the year 2013 the festival will be organising its 4th annual edition in September 2016.
WIFF aims not only to showcase the rich mélange of visual creativity in the film industry worldwide but also to promote films, documentaries and advertisements focusing on socially pertinent themes like environment and wildlife, gender, Livelihoods, public health, disability and children through this film festival. A major attraction of the film festival would be off-screen activities. Seminars, conferences, workshops and master classes to help filmmakers and film enthusiasts explore contemporary issues, network with professional associates, hone their filmmaking skills and share the power of storytelling through cinema.

The Seventh International Festival Les Saisons Parisiennes is organized by Les Saisons Parisiennes Films, Paris.
Festival will take place in the space of the St.Petersburg Film House. All the films will necessarily leave in Grand Tour 2018-2019.
The Les Saisons Parisiennes International Festival will offer a short fiction program in the following categories:
French films from France and other countries
Non-French films from other countries
The general theme: Paris and the cities of the world
The theme of the Festival: Comedy only (romantic, black, dramatic, etc.)

A nona edição do 24 Risas por Segundo, Festival de Cinema de Comédia, será realizada de 6 a 11 de maio na Cidade do México e é por isso que CHAMAMOS cineastas mexicanos e estrangeiros a inscreverem seus filmes de comédia (curtas-metragens e longas-metragens) para fazer parte do nosso programa.
O Festival “Corto di sera” acontece em agosto em Itala, na província de Messina, desde 2012.
A participação no Festival é gratuita e aberta a todos os autores italianos e estrangeiros, cineastas solteiros ou coletivos/associações.
- O Festival é dedicado exclusivamente a curtas-metragens que duram menos de 25 minutos.

Animation is a fantastic, creative medium capable of bringing a storyteller’s inner visual world to life and sharing it with audiences everywhere. As the capabilities of computer-generated imagery continue to increase, there are fewer and fewer limitations as to what can be created on the screen.
Anime means "animation" in Japanese. However, in English the word Anime is often used to describe the very distinct style of Japanese animation. In some ways, Anime can be used to explore the everyday lives and fears of young people more effectively than Western Animation.

CATACUBA UNDERBAND FILM FESTIVAL é um projeto cultural, artesanal e resistente que desde o ano 2000 é desenvolvido no município valenciano de Godella e que usa como espinha dorsal a projeção de obras audiovisuais recentes que coexistem durante a celebração deste festival peculiar.
Em sua 17ª edição, o festival pretende coletar propostas de filmes independentes que ofereçam uma perspectiva alternativa criada a partir da transversalidade que a linguagem fílmica permite. Trabalhos que, de alguma forma, subvertem a moral, desmantelar as repressões, as nossas filias e fobias e que evidenciam os defeitos estruturais da sociedade em que vivemos. À margem da indústria do entretenimento, encontraremos propostas que nos conduzam a diferentes modelos de expressão que permitam ao cinema narrativo retornar à categoria expressiva que procura convidar a reflexão. Possivelmente se é estranho é porque permanece escondido da percepção e dos sentidos.
Entendemos que a produção cinematográfica está vivendo um processo criativo que potencializa a fusão entre gêneros, estimulando a originalidade e a diversidade do meio, atribuímos a todas essas possibilidades. O 16º Festival Internacional de curtas-metragens da Cuenca del Salado será realizado em Rauch (Argentina) de 6 a 12 de outubro de 2025.
O Festival é organizado pela Associação Civil “Cineclub El Gabinete” de Rauch, com o apoio da Diretoria de Cultura do Município de Rauch e do Instituto Cultural de Buenos Aires e o endosso da Faculdade de Arte da UNICEN (Universidade Nacional do Centro da Província de Buenos Aires).

This makes it geographically the largest film festival in India. The festival screens films across genres from around the globe. A unique feature of JFF is that the cast and crew of a few select films are invited to a discussion with the audience on various elements of the film. An important aspect of the festival is to generate a discussion on the various aspects of Cinema and its impact on society and popular culture.
One of the key advantages JFF has, is ‘no submission fee’, which is a big advantage and an attraction for young and debut film makers.

Art Non Stop Festival, é o Festival Internacional de Cinema e Arte nascido em Buenos Aires, Argentina, que acontece de 26 a 28 de outubro. Organizado pela produtora Arte Non Stop, combinando cinema, pintura e escultura sob o tema exclusivo do cinema.
O motivo do Festival é promover a arte em todas as suas expressões. Oferecendo um novo espaço, ano após ano, aos artistas e escultores, para interagir suas obras de arte com os filmes de arte e ficção que participam de todo o mundo em diferentes concursos e categorias, com eventos e exposições abertas a todos os públicos.
