The Pembroke Taparellli Arts and Film Festival was founded as a means to provide independent artists committed to social justice with a place through which to share their work with our global community. The festival seeks to give a platform to artists who seek to use their voice in film, theatre, spoken word, painting, sculptor, and photography to bring to light such issues as, poverty, gender inequality, homelessness, hunger, physical and psychological abuse, racism, sex trafficking, war and grief.
The festival will be an intersection between art and social justice giving independent artists a place to create, thrive and bring to market work they are passionate about without fear it will never be seen. Artists are allowed to take risk, tell their stories as they work to change the world.
The PTAFF is dedicated to the discovery and presentation of emerging artists, giving them an opportunity to let their voices be heard around the world. Injustice in many forms is a reality affecting our global community, as artists we have a responsibility to stand up against injustice. Many artists take action to turn these injustices around through their work. We seek to support and aide these artist as they help to transform, save and change the lives of those who suffer, creating a sense of hope to fuel our struggle.
OUR MISSION
The Pembroke Taparelli Arts Festival (PTAFF) is a celebration of Domestic and International Artists (Filmmakers, Performers, visual artists) who are committed to fostering global change through the Arts. We celebrate those fearless artists who are willing to share the good, the bad, and the ugly of our times holding themselves accountable for the change they desire to see.
The PTAFF will inspire conversation and promote a better understanding of the power the arts wield in combatting the injustices that have become a part of our daily lives.
In addition, PTAFF is committed to the following:
Affirm the place the arts have in strengthening our universal commitment to Human Rights and Social Justice.
Promote the arts as a powerful tool in the global dialogue of peace and mutual respect.
Bring together international filmmakers, performers, artists and educators to present their work and share with community leaders and community audiences.
Promote healing through the arts, celebrate rich cultures, and share diverse experiences locally and internationally.
Create a pathway where socially conscious films and art work can be a part of mainstream film distribution.
Instructions for film submission
Each year, we select 10 Feature Films, 30 Short Films to play in each of our Festival programs. However, you may not submit your film directly to any one specific program.
The film’s subject matter, the production itself or the film’s director should have a strong connection to ecological topic, environmental, environmentally friendly technologies, urbanistics, road movie, nature and minority people, protection of nature.

Il prend de plus en plus d'importance en tant qu'outil puissant de diffusion des valeurs humanitaires et culturelles par le biais du cinéma. Le festival est traditionnellement fréquenté par les plus hauts dirigeants des organisations internationales de la Croix-Rouge. Le Comité international de la Croix-Rouge, la Ligue (aujourd'hui Fédération) des sociétés de la Croix-Rouge et du Croissant-Rouge, l'Organisation mondiale de la santé, l'UNESCO, le SIDALC, l'Association des producteurs de films, l'Association des distributeurs de films, l'Organisation internationale des critiques de cinéma, les cinématographes nationaux et les maisons de production de films.

Gulu International Film Festival-GIFF is Northern Uganda’s first major film festival that brings different cultures under one stage through films.
The festival includes film screenings, open debate sessions, master classes, awards and workshops.
Le Festival international du film fantastique et d'horreur de Tàrrega - Galacticat, qui se tient chaque année depuis 2014, est le premier et le seul festival de films fantastiques et d'horreur des terres de Lleida, destiné à tous les cinéphiles en général et aux amateurs de science-fiction et de terreur en particulier, avec une vocation clairement divulgatrice. Le Galacticat est né d'une initiative visant à récupérer les classiques universels de la science-fiction pour le grand public et à approfondir cette culture qui articule l'univers du cinéma depuis sa création. Au fil des ans, le Galacticat s'est développé, impliquant de plus en plus de citoyens dans ce festival du film, augmentant progressivement les activités programmées, les fêtes, les concerts, les projections, la fréquentation du public, les activités de l'industrie et la réponse de l'industrie cinématographique.
Le Festival du film de Saragosse, fondé en 1995 pour créer une activité cinématographique dans la ville. Au début, son titre principal était les Young Filmmakers. Depuis 2007, son nom officiel est devenu le Festival du film de Saragosse.

À partir de 2021, après avoir célébré la 25e édition du Festival, nous proposons une évolution du projet.
Initié dans le contexte du 60e anniversaire de l'indépendance de l'Inde, le CHINH INDIA KIDS FILM FESTIVAL and FORUM est une initiative visant à célébrer les connaissances, les idées et les points de vue sur la culture, le développement et l'éducation dans le contexte des émissions pour enfants.
L'objectif du CHINH INDIA KIDS FILM FESTIVAL est d'inculquer le goût d'un programme pour enfants de qualité et de faire connaître les nouveaux genres, innovations et formats liant l'éducation aux questions de culture et de développement chez les enfants.
Le point culminant du CHINH INDIA KIDS FILM FESTIVAL est l'échange de renseignements entre des enfants et des experts pour partager, exprimer et exprimer leurs points de vue.

The rules to participate in the second edition of BA Sport Film Festival, sponsored by the Argentine Olympic Committee, Federación de Deporte por la Paz, Boca Social and produced by Libelula Tv Films, describe the requirements for participation festival to be held from 27 Septembrer to 1 October 2017 in Buenos Aires.

L'un des principaux intérêts de l'équipe organisatrice du ficmonterrey est d'encourager de nouvelles perspectives, à ceux qui sont jeunes, non pas en raison de leur âge, mais parce qu'ils sont nouveaux, pour rester critiques, pour réussir en innovant et pour s'exposer à divers risques.
L'objectif général de ficmonterrey est de réunir à Nuevo León un public en personne et un public virtuel dans tout le Mexique, devant une sélection de films mexicains et internationaux contemporains créés par des cinéastes aux visions diverses, fraîches, risquées, critiques et innovantes. With twenty-two years of existence, (the first edition was in 1997) AVANCA Film Festival was awarded first place in 2011 contest of the support film festivals sponsored by ICA / Ministry of Culture.
An additional thematic programming has happened over all these years, giving space to screening of significant works of contemporary cinema appropriately framed in concerns and / or well-defined objectives.
The AVANCA is known as a space for workshops led by personalities of world cinema, and being more than a "master class", has allowed a unique cinema practice. Every year we have always 6 or 7 workshops, bringing together participants from all over Europe. The media have written that this is the largest European area of professional workshops in the field of cinema.
AVANCA is the only festival that congregates a Cinema International Competition, works from the television area, video and new supports of multimedia, with a special concern of exhibit the best world productions done in each category.
Since the first edition, the festival only accepts unprecedented films in Portugal.
The World Premiere competition is unique in our country and was only possible because Avanca became a passage point of unpublished authors and movies with great quality. Films that have their world premiere in the festival, independently of the submitted category, are also participating in the World Premiere Competition.
AVANCA is the Portuguese festival with the highest percentage of worldwide unpublished movies that find here their first showing.
In 2020 Edition, Avanca will bring for the first time the VR Competition, where films in virtual reality 360°, narrative or experimental (but with no interactivity) are allowed.
Since 2010, we have organized the international film conference AVANCA | CINEMA, becoming the most important conference in the field of cinema in the Iberian Peninsula. This conference brings together speakers and participants from around the world.
Thematic exhibitions, editions of books, bibliographic presentations and various projects have marked these last 10 years of AVANCA with the quality that compels the festival and the participants obviously require.
Digital Griffix film awards changed a bit over the years and is now an IMDB listed international online awards competition taking place each three months.
Each three months our jury determines the best films in each category. Note that we do NOT screen films online or onsite. The films are screened privately by the jury. Our goal is to help filmmakers take the next step in their career. Our jury is composed of award winning filmmakers who perfectly understand the hard work put in independent filmmaking !

Launched in January 2009, Jaipur International Film Festival -JIFF became expanding establishing name in organizing world film festival every year in Rajasthan.
