O Dublin Smartphone Film Festival (DUBSMARTFF) é um festival internacional dedicado à celebração do trabalho filmado em Smartphones.
A tecnologia cara já não é uma barreira à criatividade. O telefone celular expandiu o escopo e a liberdade para os cineastas. Agora aspirantes a artistas têm a capacidade de escrever, filmar e editar, seus filmes com o toque de um botão. Os smartphones estão reformulando a maneira como abordamos o cinema criando possibilidades ilimitadas na palma da sua mão.
O festival foi criado com o objetivo de incentivar esses cineastas a compartilhar as histórias que eles capturaram em dispositivos móveis. Também pretendemos fornecer uma plataforma para exibir essas histórias para um público mais amplo. É também uma chance de premiar contadores de histórias, que estão usando esses dispositivos para ultrapassar os limites da narrativa e do estilo.
O festival acontece no mês de janeiro e as inscrições estão abertas a qualquer pessoa com um Smartphone uma história convincente para contar. Ao longo do ano, haverá eventos projetados para desafiar cineastas e revolucionar a maneira como abordamos o cinema.

Dias de curtas-metragens alemães e russos “Vkratze!” têm sido realizadas em Volgogrado desde 2013 na perspectiva do intercâmbio cultural, diálogo e cooperação entre as comunidades artísticas dos dois países, popularização da cultura audiovisual atual na região de Volgogard. A competição internacional dentro do festival é uma revisão de curtas-metragens independentes da Rússia e da Alemanha, bem como filmes de todo o mundo. Este festival também funciona como um fórum para autores que exploram a esfera da arte audiovisual na seção de curtas-metragens.

Cine Pobre é um gênero cinematográfico autofinanciado sem um conjunto de critérios estilísticos nem limites de formato, envolvendo muitos criadores separados geograficamente com pelo menos duas coisas em comum: um forte desejo de contar sua história e fazê-lo com seus próprios recursos.

O Festival AVIFF apresenta um programa de filmes de artistas em Cannes durante o período do Festival de Cinema de Cannes, 4 dias em maio.

As obras selecionadas devem ter sido produzidas por artistas há menos de 2 anos e nunca foram apresentadas na França antes.
O programa apresentado em Cannes será então programado durante o ano em locais parceiros de educação e cultura: festivais, museus, Centro de Artes Contemporâneas, Fundações, Universidades, escolas... e isso no mundo, na Europa e na França.
