Torremolinos International Fantastic Film Festival has become in a few years in one the most important events at Costa del Sol (Spain). Place in the Torremolinos' exhibition and conference centre: theaters with 240 and 460 people capacity. Organized by the Cultural Association "Cinefans", the festival it's now a reference of innovate and transgresive ideas. It starts at Halloween (with its own Halloween night) and it includes galas, shows, horror movies marathons, charitable sessions, guests and honored films for their anniversary.
Year 4 is on the way! The film industry of Philadelphia has come together to make this city an active spot for HORROR shorts from around the world to be screened and celebrated. Philadelphia has one HUGE thirst for horror flicks and Average Superstar Films has stepped up and lead the way for this massive event. This event truly gives both local and international filmmakers their due. It is held at the world famous Trocadero Theatre in Philadelphia. With a $60,000 sound system, and a FULL screen, the theater seats up to 600 movie-goers. This years event will run 10 hours, with a big networking party going on in the lobby area. News outlets and press are active at this event. Celebrities and horror movie Icons from all walks of life have shown up at this event. Last year we members of The Howard Stern Show on hand. Along with Lloyd Kaufman and The Angry Video Game Nerd. We are only accepting online screeners. There are a variety of ways to submit your screener to us (YouTube, Vimeo (FAVORED) , or through one of the online submission services.). This will SAVE YOU MONEY! These events are 21 and up.

The Global Independent Film Awards is an online awards competition dedicated to recognizing filmmakers and actors for high quality work. This project involves bringing students and teachers from different countries to participate with their films . Part of the program are even lectures and workshops of the movie professionals from different countries about film issues. We think that is very important for a student to confront with other students from around the world, so to know different cultures, different thoughts and to analyse the way their colleges work. We hope that First Step Fest will be a good chance young filmmakers in Albania to get inspiration and continue their dream.
Dal 2009, il Puerto Rico Queer Filmfest è il primo e più grande festival a tema LGBTQ (lesbiche, gay, bisessuali, transgender, queer) nella regione dei Caraibi. Stiamo cercando film da tutto il mondo da proiettare alla dodicesima edizione del Festival a maggio 2024, oltre a proiezioni speciali.
L'obiettivo principale del Festival è quello di aprire dialoghi sulle questioni di contingenza attraverso il cinema come piattaforma di mediazione e impegno, nella Provincia di Colchagua, assumendo anche il ruolo di espositore del cinema nazionale e latinoamericano e di opere indipendenti provenienti da diverse parti del mondo.
La nostra motivazione per questa versione 2021 risiede nelle trasformazioni sociali incentrate sui diritti umani e sulla conservazione dell'ecosistema, nonché nella diffusione e valorizzazione del patrimonio, al fine di consolidare il Festival Internazionale del Cinema di Colchagua come spazio intellettuale, politico e culturale tumulto.

Medrar for Contemporary Art lancia il suo bando per l'undicesima edizione del Cairo Video Festival, che si terrà a dicembre 2024. Il festival continua a concentrarsi sulla fornitura di una piattaforma per la condivisione e la discussione di videoarte e film sperimentali di nuova produzione. I programmi saranno proiettati in luoghi convenzionali e non convenzionali, in teatri e spazi espositivi per promuovere, ampliare e attirare l'attenzione su questa pratica.

Allo stesso modo, coloro che enfatizzano l'uso dell'immagine in movimento nelle loro installazioni o esibizioni dal vivo. I curatori e le istituzioni coinvolte nella produzione e distribuzione di videoarte e film sperimentali sono incoraggiati a iscriversi ai loro programmi. Il programma del festival assume il formato di una serie di showcase, accompagnate da colloqui e discussioni con videomaker e curatori attivi per affrontare alcuni dei temi e delle questioni chiave affrontati nelle opere.

La dodicesima edizione del FICS si svolgerà a Bucaramanga — Santander dal 27 settembre al 1 ottobre 2022. Il bando in tutte le categorie ufficiali competitive, sarà aperto dal 24 giugno al 19 agosto 2022. Per questa edizione, il Festival avrà premi in un efficace supporto di riconoscimento per lo sviluppo audiovisivo.

“Territorio Flamenco” is created with the aim of promoting through the cinema another view regarded to the Flamenco as cultural heritage.
This program responds to the intention of dealing with the Flamenco from its cultural environment, anthropologic and social, with special attention to the role of the woman though its evolution.
We want that it would be a tool that open the door to the perception and vision that Spanish artists and world audiovisual artists have from the Flamenco. For this reason, we will give priority to the accessible suggestions to people with audible or visual disabilities.
