IndieFlicks is the UK's monthly film festival, supporting the best up and coming filmmakers from around the world. IndieFlicks is continuously growing, hosting simultaneous screenings in Manchester, London and Sheffield. We also host a repeat screening the following week in Liverpool.

How our monthly festival works…
Our Monthly Festival is a showcase of Short films from around the world, screening 50 minutes of short film in the first half, followed by our selected Feature Short in the second. We also host a Q&A with filmmakers able to attend and talks with local creatives.
At each event, two films will be selected to win either one of our awards:
The People’s Choice Award
The Directors Choice Award
Films included in the first half are nominated for our 'The People's Choice Award’; This is evidently voted for our audiences on the night and votes are calculated collectively from all of our venues.
In the second half of the night we host our 'Feature Short', one film no longer than 50 minutes. This is our headliner for the event. This film is awarded, ‘The Directors Choice Award’, one that our Judging panel felt deserves recognition.

Digital Griffix film awards changed a bit over the years and is now an IMDB listed international online awards competition taking place each three months.
Each three months our jury determines the best films in each category. Note that we do NOT screen films online or onsite. The films are screened privately by the jury. Our goal is to help filmmakers take the next step in their career. Our jury is composed of award winning filmmakers who perfectly understand the hard work put in independent filmmaking !
Seit 2009 ist das Puerto Rico Queer Filmfest das erste und größte LGBTQ-Themenfestival (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer) in der Karibik. Wir suchen Filme aus der ganzen Welt, die bei der zwölften Ausgabe des Festivals im Mai 2024 gezeigt werden, sowie nach Sondervorführungen.
Das Internationale Filmfestival ist eines der wichtigsten Kurzfilmfestivals Argentiniens. Eine Filmveranstaltung Tapiales von wichtigen sozialen und kulturellen Auswirkungen gemeinnützigen, organisiert von JC OFCT Filme, im Dorf Tapiales gehalten, eine Stadt der La Matanza gehört, befindet sich in der Provinz Buenos Aires. Es ist auch eine Wettbewerbsereignis, bei der ausgewählte Filme den Preis später Aborigines unter Urteil der Ehrenmitglieder der Jury erhalten. CORTO IMOLA FESTIVAL bring the short film in as many places as possible.
We are in the streets of the historical centers , schools , libraries , cinemas, theaters , cultural associations , social centers , nursing homes , canteens , youth centers , pubs , restaurants. A playlist of short films that includes the best of international production , from around the world , to reconfirm the artistic value of the short film , it's visible in most places possible from 8th to December 13th , the day of the the Festival will have the most of his visibility.

Puerto Madero IFF is an online annual competition based of the technical execution of films.
All submission are evaluated on each technical category: Script, Cinematography, Sound, Acting and Direction.
At the end of each year we announced the official selection films based on their creativity and technical execution.
Our festival is ONLINE only at the moment, we are working hard to make an annual event with public screening.
All the Official Selections and Winner are posted in our Social Network with a growing audience of more than 4600 followers and also on our web site.

Ziel ist es, eine Auswahl der besten Kurzfilme aus Kolumbien in den Bereichen Fiktion, Animation, Experiment und Dokumentarfilm zu präsentieren, um die Verbreitung, den Dialog und die Bewertung der Entwicklung und Bedeutung des Kurzfilms in der audiovisuellen Produktion zu ermöglichen.
Das elfte La Serena International Film Festival (FECILS) ist eine wettbewerbsfähige audiovisuelle Veranstaltung, die vom 22. bis 25. Oktober 2025 in der Region Coquimbo stattfinden wird. Es soll die Produktion und Verbreitung regionaler, nationaler und lateinamerikanischer audiovisueller Aktivitäten unterstützen und so zur Dezentralisierung beitragen, indem der Austausch und die Ausbildung regionaler Filmemacher und Produzenten gefördert werden. Durch diese Maßnahmen möchte sich FECILS als kulturelle Veranstaltung etablieren, die sich nicht nur auf die Schaffung von Filmausstellungsräumen in der Region Coquimbo konzentriert, sondern sich auch darauf konzentriert, ein neues Publikum zu gewinnen. FECILS 2025 bietet ein Programm zur audiovisuellen Öffentlichkeitsarbeit, das verschiedene Orte in den Gemeinden der Region erreichen wird.
Der Hauptzweck von La mida no importa-Size Doesn't Matter ist die Förderung der Kurzfilmproduktion und -kultur.
Manchmal werden wir gewarnt, dass wir, wenn „Größe keine Rolle spielt“, audiovisuelle Werke ohne Längenbeschränkung auswählen und zeigen müssten, und vielleicht sind sie nicht falsch. Wir sind jedoch der Meinung, dass die Dinge nicht zu groß sein müssen, um wichtig, schön, notwendig oder entscheidend zu sein, und das ist die Philosophie, die wir seit fast der ersten Ausgabe dieses Festivals verfolgen.
Wir verteidigen die Werke von kurzer Dauer, weil wir glauben, dass es möglich ist, den Einfallsreichtum zu entdecken, der sich auf einen kurzen Zeitraum konzentriert. Dieses Ziel ist der Grund, der uns bewegt und uns dazu antreibt, weiter nach den Vorschlägen zu suchen und zu stöbern, die uns erreichen, um eine Auswahl ganz unterschiedlicher Themen, Typologien und Genres zu treffen, um die Bandbreite der Ausdrucksmöglichkeiten der Kurzgeschichte aufzuzeigen.

Das Internationale Filmfestival von Leon IFFOL lädt alle Filmemacher ein, vom 1. April bis 05. August dieses Jahres am offiziellen IFFOL-Aufruf 2024 teilzunehmen. Sie können sich mit Spiel-, Sachbuch- oder Animationsfilm-, Kurzfilm- oder Kurzdokumentarfilmen für die 10. Ausgabe in Folge bewerben, die vom 30. Oktober bis 03. November dieses Jahres stattfindet. Die ausgewählten Personen können an den drei Wettbewerbssektionen des Festivals teilnehmen: International Talent, Local Talent und University Talent.
Jedes iberoamerikanische Werk kann in den Kategorien Spielfilm, Dokumentarfilm und Kurzfilm teilnehmen, und jedes nationale Werk kann an den Kategorien „Nationaler Spielfilmwettbewerb“ und „Miradas al Territorio“ teilnehmen. Es muss davon ausgegangen werden, dass alle Werke NICHT vor den Versionen 2023 und 2024 am FICVIÑA-Wettbewerb teilgenommen haben.
Espacio Queer is established as a cultural space guided by the queer theory. It’s a place for debate, reflection and artistic expresion to developes open activities about sexual diversity and gender.
Our search focuses on finding and promoting artistic works that expose a queer point of view which doesn’t establish stereotypes but opens for analysis and reflection. A view where to be a lesbian, bisexual, gay, transexual or intersexual is not a pose, fashion or, still less, a label, but an identity built up constantly wihout static or normaive parameters.
Located in La Plata city, this festival includes proyections of feature-films and short-films, official copetetion and showcase sections, debates, workshops, visual arts exhibitions and live music. In its 3rd edition, Espacio Queer will take place on November of this year.

Über 20 deutschsprachige Filmemacher treten an den zwei Veranstaltungstagen mit ihren Festivalbeiträgen gegeneinander an. Eine namhafte Jury aus Vertretern der deutschen Filmbranche vergibt im Rahmen der abschließenden Aftershow-Party den begehrten Filmpreis „SPITZ“ an die drei Gewinner. Thematisch werden die Kurzfilme der teilnehmenden Regie-Talente wie im letzten Jahr eine bunte Mischung und damit beste Unterhaltung bieten.
Das 12. RESISTENCIA FILM FEST ist ein internationales Filmfestival, das nicht wettbewerbsfähig ist und zur Verbreitung von Filmen ins Leben gerufen wurde, die die Rettung des historischen Gedächtnisses, den Kampf für Freiheit und die Verteidigung der Menschenrechte fördern.
Die Ausstellungen der teilnehmenden Filme der elften Version des Festivals werden in drei Modalitäten gezeigt: im Centro Cultural Tomé, im Fernsehprogramm „Películas de Bolsillo“ und in einem Wandermuseum.

Since its creation in 2007, Île Courts–International Short Film Festival in Mauritius acts as a tool-kit for the development of cinema in Mauritius. Non-competitive, Île Courts Festival is meant to be a showcase for cinema in Mauritius, taking us to a surprizing journey into world cinema, with a focus given on short films from the Indian Ocean area, at a crossroad between Africa and Asia. In 2018, Île Courts invites french-speaking and creole-speaking Filmmakers from the Caribbean and Pacific Islands to submit their films to the festival, therefore 36 territories are concerned by our call for films. The 11th edition of Île Courts-International Short Film Festival in Mauritius will be held by Association Porteurs d'Images from 9th to 13th October 2018, in various cities and villages throughout the island.
