Highlands Film Festival first time brings a more diversified and pioneer film festival in the town of Highlands, where the idea is to excel creative independent film direction through diversity, innovation, and uniqueness to capture the series of movements and experiences in a single film. We help filmmakers across the world to build an audience for their projects and work to diversify the film industry.
HFF welcomes to the first year of celebrating independent films, the festival will be celebrating cinema from around the world and introduced the festival workshops as a way of teaching and inspiring the filmmakers of tomorrow. Movies features from shorts, documentaries to animation and foreign films to student films. These unique, creative and diverse films come from passionate, independent global filmmakers bringing novel ideas and varied art forms to the craft. The Annual Festival will include Red Carpet, Special World Premiere Shows, Audience Choice Awards and Award Ceremony and much more. Educational workshops will be presented by brilliant filmmakers. The FIFAK is a film festival organized by the Tunisian Federation of Amateur Filmmakers .

FRAPA – The Porto Alegre Screenwriting Festival – is the largest event focused in scriptwriting for television and film in Latin America. The 8th FRAPA will be held at Cinemateca Capitólio, from the 14th to 17th of July, 2020. Our aim is to discuss and strengthen the significance of screenplay writing in times of rising in TV and film production in Brazil and in the whole continent.
Inspired by similar festivals in the United States and Europe, FRAPA has grown in size throughout the years, organizing debate sessions, competitions, workshops, screenings, master classes and business rounds. We intend to make FRAPA a reference for the thought of audiovisual writing in Latin America. By encouraging the exchange of experiences between screenwriters and other professionals in the audiovisual market, we create an opportunity for qualification and celebrate new partnerships.
FRAPA has received many renown professionals throughout its three editions. To name a few: James V. Hart (Dracula, Hook, Contact), Bráulio Mantovani (City of God e Elite Squad 1 e 2), Fernando Castets (Son of the Bride), Marcos Bernstein (Central Station), Pablo Stoll (25 Watts and Whisky), Luiz Bolognesi (Rio 2096: A Story of Love and Fury), Lisandro Alonso (Jauja) and many others.

Das Fünfte Slemani International Film Festival findet im Oktober statt und bringt renommierte Filmemacher von nationalen und internationalen Bühnen zusammen. Das diesjährige Festival wird sieben Wettbewerbssektionen umfassen, wobei insgesamt 19 Preise verliehen werden. Das Thema des Festivals wird sich auf die kurdische Sprache und Muttersprache konzentrieren und die sprachliche und kulturelle Identität durch das Kino hervorheben.
GuglilemoMarconi filmf - Kids and Teens International Film Festival (früher vvfilmf) wurde ins Leben gerufen, um ein großes Filmfestival für Kinder und Jugendliche zu veranstalten, das Talent und Kultur verbindet, einladende Orte für junge Menschen aufzeigt und Workshops anbietet, die der Erforschung neuer künstlerischer Ausdrucksformen gewidmet sind.
#GuglielmoMarconi filmf (früher vvfilmf) soll eine landesweite und internationale Initiative sein, um sowohl die Erwartungen der jungen Bevölkerung als auch die der erwachsenen Zuschauer zu erfüllen und die breite Öffentlichkeit an hochwertige Kinoformen heranzuführen. Das Programm des Festivals hat zwar Kinder, Kinder im Schulalter und Studenten als bevorzugtes Publikum, begeistert aber auch Erwachsene und die gesamte Bevölkerung, die sich für Filmkunst interessiert, fasziniert von künstlerischer und visueller Kultur, Leidenschaft für Unterricht, Pädagogik, Spaß und Bildung, aber auch einfache Unterhaltung.
Es ist eine gute Gelegenheit, neue Ausbildungswege aufzuzeigen, ein ständig erneuertes Programm kultureller Aktivitäten anzubieten und über das filmische Medium respektvolle Fähigkeiten und fruchtbare Überlegungen anzubieten, die allen Mitgliedern der Schule offen stehen.
Das Festival kann auf die Schirmherrschaft des Europäischen Parlaments, die Schirmherrschaft der Präsidentschaft der italienischen Minister, des Ministeriums für Kultur, Arbeit und Sozialpolitik, des Tourismus, fast aller italienischen Regionen, vieler italienischer Provinzen und Gemeinden verweisen.
Zu den mehrjährigen Kooperationen, die vvfilmf entwickelt hat, gehören RAI Cinema, Fondazione Ente dello Spettacolo sowie mit RAI Radio 2 und RAI Educational.
Aufgrund der hohen Qualität der Filmauswahl im Wettbewerb und der Professionalität der im Laufe der Jahre geleisteten Arbeit wurde das Festival vom Präsidenten der Biennale-Stiftung, Paolo Baratta, und dem Direktor der Biennale von Venedig ausgewählt, um eine Gruppe junger Juroren auszuwählen und sie während der Internationalen Filmfestspiele von Venedig in die Welt des internationalen Kinos zu begleiten.
Das STUFF MX International Independent Film Festival in Mexiko-Stadt feiert vom 22. bis 30. August 2026 seine elfte Ausgabe und lädt Filmemacher, Videofilmer und audiovisuelle Produzenten aus der ganzen Welt offiziell ein, all ihre Filmmaterialien und Musikvideos in allen Formaten, Genres und Kategorien beliebiger Länge, einschließlich Animation, Dokumentarfilm und Fiktion, einzureichen. Now, the 18th edition of the festival will be held in Jaipur.

Das International Mountain Film Festival Ushuaia SHH... ist eine kulturelle und pädagogische Veranstaltung, die in Feuerland, Argentinien, geboren wurde. Unser Ziel ist es, zu einer Kultur der Naturpflege und der nachhaltigen Entwicklung der menschlichen Gesellschaft, insbesondere in Bergumgebungen, beizutragen. HARD:LINE International Film Festival aims to present the various faces of extreme cinema.
The question as to what is meant by the term “extreme” can be understood by looking at the content of our wide selection of fantastic films. “Extreme” is often defined by an explicit splatter aesthetic but it can also be represented by unusual story-telling methods or an exotic visual language. Thus, we are meticulously selecting such examples that could be important in the future of the genre. We have not set any boundaries in our search and whether a film is a pearl of the independent scene, fun splatter or no-brainer, H:LIFF loves special films!
HARD:LINE International Film Festival is no warehouse festival where the priority is to show as many films as possible but rather concentrates on presenting a few glowing examples of everything that extreme film can be.
