The International “Festival International du Film Panafricain” (FIFP) in Cannes is a platform that exhibits cinema and its professions, arts and entrepreneurship, as well as innovation, culture and events.
The FIFP was created and founded by Mr. Eitel Basile NGANGUE EBELLE and the “Association Nord Sud Développement, agréée jeunesse et Education Populaire Ministère de la santé, de la jeunesse et des sports n° 06514”.
As a driving force behind the PanAfrican Cinema and Arts industry, the Festival is constantly seeking specific solutions for the development of PanAfrican Cinema and Arts.
With a booming Pan-African market (from Africa to the Americas through the Caribbean, Europe and Asia), the Festival benefits from expertise in the development of cinema and Fashion as well as the development of cultural affairs.
Since its creation in 2006, the DIKALO AWARDS (meaning « message » in the Cameroonian language Douala) has been awarded by a professional jury for the best short and feature films (fiction), the best long and short documentaries, the Dikalos Peace Award, as well as the best actor and actress awards.
The FIFP is a felt moment. It is a unique experience where PanAfrican cinema and African cultures and those of its diaspora around the world are the central focus. An exceptional energy is felt.
Since 2018, the FIFP in Cannes has included along with its projections, a market: the Entrepreneurship Salon for Culture and Well-Being. The objective is to enhance the economy of PanAfrican cinema.
A few years from now, the market which features pan-African arts will generate considerable sums. « Tomorrow is now ». This enormous potential must be brought forward into the light.

Vierte Auflage CENTRAL-DOC, Blackbird Films und Huitzil Multidisciplinary Creation Laboratory A.C. Alle Dokumentarfilmer sind eingeladen, an der vierten Ausgabe des Internationalen Dokumentarfilmfestivals teilzunehmen, die findet vom 2. bis 6. Dezember 2019 im Bundesstaat Tlaxcala, Mexiko statt. Die Arbeiten werden in öffentlichen Räumen projiziert werden, unabhängige, Bildungseinrichtungen und Kulturzentren, wobei diese lokalen, nationalen oder internationalen.
Diese vierte Ausgabe der Ausstellung wird begleitet von dem Thema KULTUR, Identität und Widerstand... 500 JAHREN. Ein Thema, das versucht, sichtbar zu machen, aber vor allem die Rolle der indigenen Völker durch die verschiedenen Dokumentarfilme, aus denen diese Ausgabe besteht, und die sich um bestimmte Themen wie Herkunft, Traditionen, Territorium, Sprache, Rechte usw. drehen sollen. Bei CENTRAL-DOC erwarten wir Dokumentationen mit Geschichten, die es uns ermöglichen, zu hinterfragen und zu bewerten, was uns zu dem macht, was wir sind, woher wir kommen und was unsere Wurzeln sind.

Das WORLD FEST ist ein „kurz-dokumentarisches“ Filmfestival, das das Potenzial des bewegten Bildes als Werkzeug zur Verbreitung von Kultur und als gesellschaftliches Treffen fördert. Sie unterstützt Sperimentierung zugunsten des Ausdrucks des Autors, der audiovisuellen Qualität und der Kreativität der neuen Generationen.
Sie zielt auch auf den Beitrag zur Qualität der Feierlichkeiten ab, indem sie Veranstaltungen veranstaltet, die in vielen kulturellen Aspekten besonders interessant sind und einen konstruktiven Dialog unter ihnen fördern. Wir wollen auch einen Dialog zwischen verschiedenen Bräuchen und Traditionen schaffen.
Das WORLD FEST 2020 findet am Sonntag, 6. September 2020 in Cuneo (Italien) statt.

The Green Me GmbH is a Berlin based company and the organizer of the annual environmental film festival called the Green Me Global Festival for Sustainability. This festival was initiated in 2008 by Nicolai Niemann, and has over the years transformed from a lounge to a full blown film festival with three major sections: Film – the festival offers a platform for the green films, green publicity and green economy. Movies with environmentally related topics from all over the world are evaluated and screened; Congress – on this platform, professional minds engage in panel discussions on diverse environmental topics; Marketplace– where companies and NGOs represent themselves and exhibit their products and services; Gala Night- where awards are given out to the award winning films. Finalising each festival is the award night, during which the best films from different categories receive awards. The Outlet Dance Project is an annual festival of artists who identify or have identified as women, sharing their vision through film, site-specific dance, and work created for the stage. It is one of the largest, most popular, and well-attended dance festivals in New Jersey. Die Association i Ken Onlus kündigt im Rahmen der 17. Ausgabe des Filmfestivals OMOVIES — Lesbian Gay Transgender and Questioning einen Wettbewerb für audiovisuelle Arbeiten zum Thema lesbischer Schwuler Transgender und/oder Fragen an. Das Festival findet sowohl online als auch im Kinoraum statt.
The Latino and Iberian Film Festival at Yale (LIFFY), produced by the Council for Latin American and Iberian Studies at the MacMillan Center at Yale, began as a film series in the late 1990s, then collaborated with the New England Festival of Iberian Cinema (NEFIAC) for five years (2010- 2014), and was established as The Latino and Iberian Film Festival at Yale (LIFFY) in 2015.
The festival is an inclusive event sponsored by Yale for the whole Greater New Haven community. It is free and open to the general public. We strive to promote cultural awareness and understanding through the screening of films from many different countries where Spanish and Portuguese are spoken, and by inviting filmmakers, actors, and producers to converse with our audience. It is our premise that knowledge promotes respect for diversity, and unity amongst peoples of divergent backgrounds. All films are screened with English subtitles.
THE INTERNACIONAL ALTERNATIVE MEDIA FILM FESTIVAL (FICMA) has as its objective to offer a space for the exhibition of quality films made with non-professional cameras, cell phones, handy cams, sport cameras, smart watches, tablets, etcetera, looking to promote the talent and creativity of those who have the desire of taking their stories to the screen but do not count with the big budgets that filmmaking often requires.
The Boston Science Fiction Film Festival is an 11-day cinematic event held at the historic Somerville Theatre from February 9th to the 19th. The 2018 edition marks our 43rd anniversary as the oldest science fiction film festival.
The first nine days is a traditional film festival. Films submitted and curated from around the world are screened, whether they be features, shorts, or webisodes. Plus we have workshops, parties or anything else that seems appropriate. Here at BostonSciFi we emphasize emerging directors with distinct visions.
The Festival concludes with The Marathon, a.k.a., “The ‘Thon”, a 24-hour orgiastic motion picture endurance test featuring classic, new and schlock films. Think of it as binge viewing with 750 close friends. It starts at noon on the 18th and ends at noon on President’s Day.
Boston SciFi is the oldest genre fest in the country and one of the oldest in the world. Being in Boston has many advantages, it is a world class city. Boston is one of the world’s best college towns (hello Harvard, MIT, BU, BC, Tufts and more). As such, BostonSciFi endeavors to reflect all of that in the festival. Then toss in, we are housed in the classic 1914 Somerville Theatre in the almost too hip Davis Square, and you can see why FilmFreeway touted us as one of the Top 100 Film Festivals.

The Green-Go International Short Film Contest aims to gather environmentally and socially conscious youngsters to organize the contest and the festival on one hand, and on the other hand, to inspire youngsters to creatively express their ideas in a
short film format. With the shorts, we aim to raise awareness on environmental and social problems at global, European and national level. With Green-Go festival, we wish to create the basis of a sustainable green film event that activates both youngsters and the civil society, attracts interested people and stakeholders and generates dialogues within the whole society about key eco-social questions.
Within the film contest, we accept shorts in three categories to reflect on European awareness, global environmental and social problems and the connection between biodiversity and society.
The Green-Go Short Film Contest is generously supported by the European Commission.

Das Phänomen der russischen Zivilisation, das am „gemeinsamen Maßstab“ unermesslich ist, bis Ende des ersten Quartals des 21. Jahrhunderts gewinnt seine Relevanz - sowohl in der Welt als auch in Russland.
Das Wort „Russisch“ im Verständnis der Organisatoren des Filmfestivals definiert keine Nationalität, sondern zivilisatorische und ideologische Zugehörigkeit - zur multinationalen russischen Welt.
Eine russische Person unterscheidet sich von einer „westlichen“ Person. Eine russische Person kann Handlungen unlogisch und „unrentabel“ begehen - aus Sicht der Vertreter der westlichen Zivilisation: zum Nachteil seiner selbst, aber im Namen der Gerechtigkeit. Schließlich ist dies für eine russische Person - wenn es mit gutem Gewissen und Fairness ist, sowohl logisch als auch vorteilhaft.
Jetzt, wenn die ganze Welt mit globalen Herausforderungen konfrontiert ist - technologisch, sozial, wirtschaftlich, spirituell und ideologisch -, versuchen wir erneut, eine Quelle der Stärke in jenen immateriellen Werten zu finden, die der russischen Welt im Laufe der Jahrhunderte einen Vorteil verschafft haben und immer noch verschaffen.
Die Erfahrung der Durchführung des Russischen Filmfestivals in den Jahren 2017-2020. entdeckte ein echtes Interesse von Filmemachern aus den Regionen Russlands und aus anderen Ländern, das unerschöpfliche Thema der „geheimnisvollen russischen Seele“ zu verstehen. Dies gilt insbesondere für junge Vertreter des Autorenkinos in Russland, für die das Russische Filmfestival sowohl mit Kollegen als auch mit dankbaren Kinogängern zu einem Treffpunkt geworden ist.
Das Russische Filmfestival wird zu dem öffentlichen kreativen Raum, in dem es einen lebhaften Prozess gibt, eine Gemeinschaft von Gleichgesinnten zu bilden, die in ihrer Arbeit bewusst die spirituellen und moralischen Werte der russischen Zivilisation reflektieren.
