En el B-Retina Festival queremos dar un espacio a la Serie B de todo tipo, desde el cine trash de guerrilla a obras de culto inclasificables; para ello talentos emergentes, artistas consagrados y personajes difíciles de ubicar, nos mostrarán cómo entienden y ven el mundo que nos rodea usando su inventiva y descaro.
Durante los días del festival nos convertiremos en un escaparate donde todo tiene cabida, películas clásicas, estrenos, cortos, series web, charlas, entrevistas y muchas sorpresas.

El LA Underground Film Forum (LAUFF) es el primer escaparate de experimentación en medios basados en cine, video y audio de Los Ángeles. Se centra en el cine vanguardista, art-house, independiente y de bajo presupuesto, con la quinta edición que tendrá lugar en julio de 2020, en Los Ángeles.
Nuestro programa ofrece un lugar para que los cineastas reinventen y exploren nuevos enfoques, fomenten nuevas formas de arte mediático y construyan una audiencia para este tipo de trabajo. Nuestro objetivo es presentar una amplia gama de trabajos explorando las múltiples definiciones e interpretaciones del concepto de «underground».
Buscamos películas hechas con pasión, obsesión y motivación; películas que vayan más allá de las expectativas y el género; películas, proyectos de vídeo y audio que se esfuercen por superar los límites de la forma y el contenido aceptados. Un fuerte sentido de autoría es una necesidad.
LAUFF acepta todas las formas y géneros: desde drama, documental, experimental, culto, art-house, lengua extranjera, comedia, terror, ciencia ficción, fantasía, animación, LGBT, indígena, erótica hasta cine lento y videoarte...

El Festival Curta Cinema, el Festival Internacional de Cortometrajes de Río de Janeiro, se dedica exclusivamente a la promoción y exhibición de obras audiovisuales de corta duración. Somos un festival competitivo que exhibe películas producidas en formato digital con una duración máxima de 30 minutos. La programación del Festival Curta Cinema consiste en: Competencia internacional y nacional, Panorama latinoamericano y de Río, Panorama para jóvenes y programas especiales. El Festival Internacional de Cortometrajes de Río de Janeiro, Curta Cinema, clasifica a los ganadores de su Gran Premio Nacional e Internacional para ser nominados al Óscar de acuerdo con las normas de la Academia de Artes y Ciencias Cinematográficas.

ABYCINE – FESTIVAL Y MERCADO DE CINE INDEPENDIENTE DE ALBACETE tiene entre sus objetivos fundamentales la difusión y promoción de películas y cortometrajes de carácter independiente que, por una u otra razón, no disfrutan de distribución regular en los circuitos convencionales de exhibición.

Organized by FIDEC, Les Enfants Terribles is a young film festival dedicated to the first European films.
Bendita Tú es un Festival de Cine con perspectiva feminista y queer, dedicado a la exhibición de obras audiovisuales, con sede en España y Argentina.
Concebido como un espacio de encuentro y reflexión, el festival busca crear comunidad y visibilizar obras de directoras mujeres, mujeres trans y personas no binarias de todo el mundo. Nuestra línea curatorial —situada y afectiva— se orienta a propuestas experimentales de no ficción, ensayo, videoarte y formatos híbridos que suelen quedar fuera de los circuitos tradicionales de exhibición y distribución.
Asimismo, entendemos la programación como un territorio de diálogo: articulamos relaciones entre obras emergentes y películas de directoras consolidadas para ampliar las posibilidades de lectura, activar nuevas formas de recepción y profundizar en una estética transfeminista que desestabiliza miradas hegemónicas.

The Association Mozart Italia Terni is pleased to announce the first edition of the Luci Della Ribalta Film Fest, dedicated to Italian and International short films. The entries may be of any genre or theme, run a maximum of 20 minutes and cannot be produced before 2015. The film fest will also be open to music video clips of any genre, which were produced no earlier than 2015.
The Luci Della Ribalta Film Fest will take place during the 7th edition of The International Festival Luci Della Ribalta, dedicated to performing and visual arts.
In fact, this year, the internationally renowned "Luci della ribalta" Festival (over 20 internationally renowned teachers and about 150 students from all over the world) has decided to open up to dance, cinema and theater.
For this purpose, the section dedicated to cinema, "Luci Della Ribalta Film Fest", aims to enhance independent filmmaking, privileging young authors, new languages and, in a particular way, the fusion of different arts especially cinema and music.
Without forgetting the musical nature of the Festival, a section dedicated to music video clips has been created, as well as the special Renato Chiesa "Music and Pictures Award", dedicated to the late composer who passed away before his time. Narni's connection with fantasy genre also inspired the creation of the "Short Fantasy" section.
The International Festival "Luci Della Ribalta” will take place from August 11th to 28th in the beautiful setting of the medieval town of Narni (TR) in Umbria. This festival has been realized in collaboration with the Municipality of Narni and the Carit Foundation, and is sponsored by the Region of Umbria, the province of Terni, the municipalities of Terni and Sangemini, the Terni Chamber of Commerce, the Stiftung Mozarteum Salzburg and Forum for Austrian culture.
The festival will feature a large variety of musical, theatrical, cinematographic and dance events. In addition, like every year, there will be a section dedicated to masterclasses.
The final evening, including the award ceremony and projection of the finalist short films and video clips, will be on August 26, 2017.
A commission appointed by the Artistic Director of the Festival will meet for the selection of the works
This panel of experts will evaluate and judge the selected works and award the following prizes:
• BEST SHORT FILM (INTERNATIONAL SECTION), which will consist of a cash prize of EUR 300 and a plaque.
• BEST VIDEOCLIP, which will consist of a cash prize of EUR 100 and a plaque.
• RENATO CHIESA SPECIAL AWARD “MUSIC AND PICTURES”, which will be awarded for the best soundtrack in a Short Film or for the best use of images in the service of music in a classic music video clip and will consist of a cash prize of EUR 150 and a plaque.
• BEST FANTASY SHORT FILM, which will consist of a plaque.
In addition, the second and third place entrants of the "Short International" section will be awarded with a plaque.
For the 6 winners of the film fest, accommodation costs in the city of Narni for the night of the awards ceremony will be covered.
The committee will consist of prominent members of the Italian and international film and music scene. The prizes will be awarded according to their judgment, which will not be subject to appeal.
The registration will cost 18 euros for the short international section (15 euros for videomaking schools), 7 euros for the short fantasy section and 10 euros for the videoclip section. In addition, there will be discounted rates for registrations received by June 13, 2017.

Amounts paid include the compulsory membership fee for registration at the Mozart Italia Association of Terni.

Solo podrán participar en el festival películas producidas y rodadas en los países mediterráneos o países vinculados a las culturas mediterráneas.
a) Se entienden por países mediterráneos: Albania, Argelia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Croacia, Egipto, Eslovenia, España, Francia, Grecia, Israel, Italia, Libia, Líbano, Malta, Marruecos, Mónaco, Montenegro, Palestina, Siria, Turquía, Túnez y Chipre.
b) Se entienden como países vinculados a las culturas mediterráneas: Jordania, los territorios del Kurdistán (Irán, Irak, Siria y Turquía), Mauritania, República Árabe Saharaui Democrática, Portugal y Rumanía.
c) Como caso especial, las películas rodadas en los territorios del Kurdistán deberán estar rodadas en lengua kurda como mínimo en un 50%.

BEAST International Film Festival is now opening the call for entries for its second edition. This in an opportunity to bring your film to a different audience, connect with other directors, actors, editors and much more. Submit your film and give it the chance to be seen on the big screens of Porto’s cinemas, between 26th and 30th of September 2018.
One of BEAST’s aim is to provide a platform for young Eastern European artists, or Portuguese artists living in Eastern Europe - for our Portuguese Abroad section, to present their work in a western country, Portugal. Last year, BEAST IFF screened films that represented over 22 countries from Eastern Europe, in 5 venues located in the heart of Porto, Portugal. The festival has 3 competition sections: East Wave, East Doc, and ExperimentalEast, but you can also submit films for our special sections: BEAST Kids and Portuguese Abroad. Submissions are free between 15th of December 2017 - 1st of January 2018. The call for entries is open until the 1st of July 2018.

LesGaiCineMad es el festival de temática LGBTIAQ+ más importante de los países de habla hispana, tanto en espectadores y alcance, como en cantidad de películas. LesGaiCineMad fue creado con el objetivo de dar visibilidad a este colectivo. Desde 1996, y con el apoyo de Fundación Triángulo, el festival ha proyectado miles de películas. Friday Harbor Film Festival features 3 days of award winning documentary films about the diverse cultures and environments of the Pacific Rim. Films will feature fascinating island cultures, revealing marine ecology, heroic adventures, sustainable agriculture, social justice, current environmental issues and stirring human interest stories. Filmmakers will be on hand throughout the event to introduce their films and participate in a forum on documentary filmmaking, mingle with filmgoers and answer questions.
