Seoul Metro International Subway Film Festival (SMIFF) introduce vari cortometraggi estremi a livello mondiale sui monitor della metropolitana di Seul e Barcellona e mira a contribuire a creare un ambiente culturale cosmopolita dove chiunque possa guardare film in diversi luoghi oltre le sale cinematografiche.
Lo scopo del festival si riferisce alla consapevolezza sia dei filtri esterni sullo schermo, inclusa la censura (commerciale, ideologica, estetica), sia dei filtri interni della percezione e della proiezione dello schermo, inclusa l'autocensura. NEFILTRAVANAE KINO è un'esplorazione dell'estetizzazione e della mercificazione nell'arte. Il prossimo obiettivo del festival è quello di esporre la complessità, la molteplicità e la varietà del cinema.
NEFILTRAVANAE KINO è un festival cinematografico organizzato dallo Short Movie Club, la piattaforma per progetti cinematografici. NEFILTRAVANAE KINO è un festival qualificato per l'ADAMI Media Prize. L'International Film Studies Conference si svolge contemporaneamente al festival cinematografico. In questo modo, la teoria e la pratica cinematografica sono integrate insieme al NEFILTRAVANAE KINO.
Originariamente il festival si svolgeva in Bielorussia, ma a causa della repressione politica e delle posizioni contro la guerra dichiarate pubblicamente, proiezioni ed eventi possono essere organizzati in diversi paesi. Prima di tutto in Lituania (Vilnius). Ad esempio, la decima edizione di Nefiltravanae Kino si è svolta a Berlino, Vilnius e Helsinki l'anno scorso. Il concetto del NEFILTRAVANAE KINO (Unfiltered Cinema):
PROBLEMA DI ALIENAZIONE
Viviamo in un mondo di centri commerciali e cinema multisala. Vediamo che il cinema indipendente e l'arte non commerciale vanno alla periferia dell'attenzione del pubblico. Le attrazioni primitive sostituiscono la cinematografia. Il pubblico di Escape si sente alienato dietro il grande schermo. Quindi il cinema mainstream moderno fa parte di uno strumento di manipolazione che porta alla società dell'alienazione. Quindi la tendenza è che il cinema indipendente diventi più illeggibile per il vasto pubblico. Dovremmo capire il contesto del regista per comprendere il cinema indipendente. Ecco perché il concetto di NEFILTRAVANAE KINO implica la presenza fisica dei registi.
PROBLEMA DI SELEZIONE DEI FILM
I registi girano milioni di film. E migliaia di festival di cortometraggi organizzano proiezioni in tutto il mondo ogni anno. In media, diverse migliaia di film vengono presentati a un festival cinematografico. Quindi vari buoni film possono essere trascurati per qualsiasi motivo. Spesso selezionare la probabilità è come vincere alla lotteria. Di conseguenza, i registi non hanno alcun feedback. È un paradosso che nessuno possa sentirti nell'era di Internet! La cultura tradizionale predilige le attrazioni e la visione informale.
Inoltre, questa idea si basa sul problema della selezione dei film. Forse non sorprende che una persona, vale a dire il direttore del programma nella migliore delle ipotesi, o anche gli studenti delle scuole di cinema prendano una decisione preliminare sulla selezione di un film. La concordanza tra giudici o spettatori è più rara della differenza di background e gusti. Quindi la selezione o il giudizio possono essere unilaterali o superficiali. Non è male perché il direttore del programma ha un buon gusto e una sensibilità estetica, ovviamente. Ma abbiamo scoperto un'altra concezione di «cinema non filtrato». L'abbiamo confrontato con il metodo «il meglio del meglio». Questo modo aiuta a percepire l'idioma cinematografico senza il dettato dei curatori d'arte.
CELEBRAZIONE DEL CINEMA INDIPENDENTE
Quindi l'Unfiltered Cinema Film Festival cerca di evitare il «meglio del meglio» ma non lo ignora completamente, certo. Il festival seleziona sezioni di finzione, animazione, documentario, sperimentale e realtà virtuale. Una giuria premia il miglior film in ogni sezione. Il festival organizza le proiezioni nelle sale cinematografiche, nel Centro nazionale per le arti contemporanee e negli spazi artistici.
Il nostro obiettivo è riunire le persone nell'arte, dialogare per essere felici con una comunicazione intelligente. Il cinema è arte ma non sport. Il punto chiave del nostro progetto è stabilire una comunicazione tra il regista e il pubblico.

In the bustling city where machine and futuristic lifestyle became the new civilization, Jakarta International Film & Art Festival (JIFAF) tries to preserve and maintain the good old value in the traditional world and to make the best benefit of the advanced civilization to bring the betterment for humanity.
We are searching for inspiring films and documentaries that touch the underlying culture of human beings, about human civilization, a day to day experience in modern or ancient society, and about arts and music in any form. Basically, we are looking for everything concerning human being, and the boundariless creativity to shape our culture to become better.
We are also looking for people who make art in any form and people who contribute to the society through art and culture to shine in our Festival.
We invite all filmmakers, artists, and newcomer from around the globe to submit and participate in our Festival, and make films become a tool to create a world with no boundaries.
The Festival is working together with the Madukara Foundation and several international filmmakers.

A seguito del grande successo della Prima e Seconda Edizione dell'Asylum Fantastic Fest, che ha visto nel 2019 oltre 2.500 presenze, oltre 30 ospiti italiani e internazionali, circa 300 pellicole inviate in selezione, e nel 2020, oltre 70.000 contatti in streming, l'Assessorato alla Cultura di Valmontone e l'Officina d'Arte OutOut aprono le selezioni per la Terza Edizione.
Nato dall’idea del Fondatore Claudio Miani, si colloca nel cuore del Lazio, a Valmontone, per divenire un punto di riferimento a livello nazionale e internazionale per gli amanti del genere, in una visione di progetto culturale a lungo termine capace di portare ulteriore risalto, prestigio e turismo all’intera area territoriale.
Un Festival d’Arte come progetto “culturale vivo”, dove non si vuole solo intendere la cultura nella quale viviamo, l’attualizzazione della tematica e della forma espressiva legata al mondo dell’Orrore e del Fantastico, ma a raggio più ampio, tutte quelle esperienze con le proprie radici e quelle evoluzioni da esse sviluppatesi, che nell’accezione positiva di globalizzazione vanno ad interscambiarsi in nuove realtà culturali. Si tratta quindi di interpretare un mondo dandogli nuova forma, percependone contenuti e aspirazioni per manifestarli e comunicarli attraverso il cinema, la letteratura, la musica, le arti performative, il fumetto, l’animazione e il contest live. Una ricerca densa di stimoli e spunti, di nuove composizioni linguistiche ed orizzonti simbolici, che al meglio si esprimono in una diegesi visiva, narrativa e strutturata, in grado di offrire nuove prospettive di genere.
Lo scopo principale dell’Asylum Fantastic Fest è fornire reale visibilità e sostegno alle eccellenze della creatività horror, promuovendo realtà e opere che siano in grado di fornire nuove letture contenutistiche e soprattutto porsi in confronto con i nuovi linguaggi 2.0. La ricerca di nuove tendenze e l’apertura a bacini attualmente non massificati, permette di garantire la realizzazione di un Festival capace di porsi come punto di riferimento pluriennale per una corrente da sempre in cerca di stimoli e sviluppi. Un evento che vuole porsi come occasione per stimolare la collaborazione tra giovani artisti italiani e internazionali, proponendo momenti di incontro e di scambio per le sezioni presenti al Festival.
Contaminazione è la parola che contiene sufficientemente e con chiarezza l’importanza che l’Asylum Horror Fest riserba, in questa prima edizione e riserverà in quelle a venire, all’incontro tra le differenti forme artistiche. Lavorando in un ambito non formale, dove tutte le realtà coinvolte risulteranno corresponsabili dell’organizzazione, si potrà raggiungere il comune obiettivo di realizzare un contesto espressivo dove ciascuna delle persone partecipanti possa esprimere le proprie potenzialità creative.

We offer a four day weekend with feature films, short films, seminars, Q&A's, parties and more! All of this in a gorgeous MANSION in Westfield, NJ. We look forward to treating you at the James Ward Mansion this year.
OUR MISSION:
Our mission is to provide an opportunity for artists worldwide to showcase works that educate, and inspire equality, empathy and awareness through film.
We believe that film can reach the mind and soul in ways nothing else can. For this reason, we present films that strive to promote equality, champion the oppressed and promote open-mindedness. We also offer seminars and workshops intended to engage and educate aspiring filmmakers and on-camera talent.
Our intent is to call attention to and encourage the artistic endeavors of women and minorities, whose work is often overlooked, and in so doing, fully advocate for equality.
We are committed to enhancing the creative community in the Tri-State area and providing a platform for both local and international storytellers to not only share their work but enjoy a place to forge new relationships for collaboration.
OUR STORY:
Westfield International Film Festival (a Big Dreams and Silver Screens production) is a non-profit international film festival first established in Rahway, New Jersey, U.S.A, only 40 minutes away from New York City. It was first held in June of 2013 in an effort to create a warm and welcoming home for independent filmmakers and fans of film in the Tri-State Area. We annually showcase short films, feature films and music videos while offering networking and workshop opportunities to those interested in the film industry.
As a women-led film festival in a primarily male-dominated film industry and in keeping with our mission of equality, we seek to present an equal ratio of films created by male and female filmmakers (Director/Writer/Producer/DP) from around the world. We also present the annual “Woman in Film Award” to honor and celebrate women in the film industry who exemplify our definition of success.
We are glad to be a part of the bustling downtown district of Westfield, NJ - one of the "happiest cities in New Jersey" - where we call The James Ward Mansion home. It is a unique, beautiful, and glamorous space in which we are happy to honor our hard-working filmmakers whom we feel deserve the full red-carpet treatment.
Big Dreams and Silver Screens is currently awaiting its 501c3 Non-Profit Status from the State of NJ. WIFF is a Big Dreams and Silver Screens production.

In questa settima edizione, a causa dell'emergenza sanitaria globale, sia il Festival che le varie attività si svolgeranno virtualmente.
Allo stesso modo, cerca di migliorare e incoraggiare la partecipazione di organizzazioni di e per le persone con disabilità e le istituzioni educative, gli artisti, i lavoratori del mondo dell'audiovisivo e le persone interessate allo sviluppo di film che ruotano attorno a questi temi.
The 2018 FOCUS Children's International Film Festival screens animated short films that answer the Festival theme's question: "What Does Make the World a Better Place?"
The FOCUS Children's International Film Festival was founded in 2016 by a non-profit organization FOCUS School of Theatre, Arts and Filmmaking and DASH Productions Inc. to highlight children's love for Film and Creativity, as well as to give a possibility to amateur young filmmakers to showcase their work in front of not only their parents and peers but also in front of general public and film professionals.
This year is the second year we go internationally. In 2017, we received more than 200 entries and 22 films-finalists from 9 countries: Canada, USA, Brasil, Germany, Russia, Ukraine, Croatia, Kyrgyzstan, Iran were chosen and screened at the festival.
The intent of the FOCUS Children's International Film Festival is to demonstrate a child's take on the important things in our lives as well as to emphasize the power of animated film in communicating about What Makes the World a Better Place.

Since its 1st edition in Barcelos in 2008, the ART&TUR Festival has effectively fulfilled its mission of making known to the world the best audiovisual productions in Portugal and in the world.
As a forum for sharing experiences, the ART&TUR Festival has achieved a high international recognition, thanks to the quality and quantity of films that it distinguishes annually, as well as its integration into a worldwide network of similar festivals: CIFFT (International Committee of Tourism Film Festivals) that annually elects the best tourism film worldwide, among all the films that travel the international circuit of 16 festivals.
From 2018, ART&TUR Film Festival rights were transferred from APTUR to Centro de Portugal Film Commission (CPFC). Associated to this change, and thanks to an agreement between the CPFC and the Regional Tourism Entity of Center of Portugal, the ART&TUR Festival will now be held in the Central Region, roaming through the various municipalities of the Center of Portugal.

DocsValparaíso International Documentary Film Festival is part of the DocsBarcelona's 3 festivals network that takes place in the cities of Barcelona, Medellín and Valparaíso. The main goal of the Valparaíso festival is to become one of the leading documentary festivals of Latin America in a medium term by developing the areas of expertise of DocsBarcelona: industry and professional training.

Detroit’s Trinity International Film Festival. The festival takes place August 20-23, 2020 in beautiful Downtown Detroit at The Marlene Boll Theater, 1401 Broadway, Detroit, Michigan and The Carr Center Gallery. The 4-day event themed “FILM YOUR FUTURE” features an array of independent films, screenplays, workshops, The Future panel discussion and filmmakers from around the world. We are also hosting a Best screenplay competition, 2nd Annual Uncle Nearest Premium Whiskey 100 Proof! Red Carpet Award ceremony.
