El Festival Internacional de Cine Ornitológico de Ménigoute es uno de los principales eventos mundiales del cine sobre vida silvestre. La primera edición se celebró en 1985, y el Festival de Menigoute corre a cargo de la asociación Mainate (Ménigoute animation international nature environment).

Show Me Shorts is New Zealand’s leading international short film festival. We work to connect New Zealanders with the best short films from here and around the world; celebrate excellence in short film making; and foster the short film community.
Each year our experienced team of programmers curate a selection of the best short films from Aotearoa and around the world, plus some of the top local music videos. We prioritise cinematic narrative-style films with strong audience appeal, as well as films that are making their premiere in our festival.
Founded in 2006 at a single venue, Show Me Shorts has grown to become a nationwide event celebrating the short film art form, and championing the filmmakers. The festival now takes place at more than 25 cinemas nationwide, from Kaitaiai to Stewart Island.
We launch the festival with glamorous opening night events at the country's two most prestigious picture palaces The Civic in Auckland and The Embassy in Wellington.
As part of the festival, Show Me Shorts also provides resources, professional development and networking opportunities for aspiring short film makers through our Short Film Talks, Filmmaker Resources and Aotearoa Short Film Lab for screenwriters.

Международный фестиваль короткометражных фильмов «Киносмена» — ежегодное культурное событие Республики Беларусь. Фестиваль проходит под патронажем белорусского союза кинематографистов и одобрен министерством культуры Республики Беларусь.
Oрганизаторы приглашают режиссеров и представителей фильмов и обеспечивают им бесплатное проживание в комфортабельной гостинице г. Минска на время проведения фестиваля.
В конкурсную программу отбирается 30 лучших из нескольких тысяч присылаемых на фестиваль премьер короткометражных фильмов со всего мира.
Пестиваль представляет работы отечественных и зарубежных кинематографистов, отобранных членами жюри, как лучшие, и вместе со зрителями выбирает бедителя. Также предусматривается внеконкурсная программа из фильмов, не вошедших в основной конкурс, но представляющих интерес для зрителей.
Фестиваль проходит в сети кинотеатров «Silver Screen» города Минска и параллельно в 10-ти городах Беларуси.
El Festival Internacional de Cortometrajes de Minsk «Kinosmena» es un evento cultural anual de la República de Belarús. El festival cuenta con el apoyo de la Unión Bielorrusa de cineastas y aprobado por el Ministerio de Cultura de la República de Belarús.
Los organizadores invitan a directores de cine y representantes de las películas y les proporcionan alojamiento gratuito en un cómodo hotel en Minsk durante la duración del festival.
De varios miles de cortometrajes que nos enviaron de todo el mundo, 30 mejores películas son seleccionadas en el programa del concurso del festival. El festival cuenta con el apoyo de la Unión Bielorrusa de cineastas y aprobado por el Ministerio de Cultura de la República de Belarús.
El festival presentará las obras de cineastas nacionales y extranjeros, seleccionados por el jurado como los mejores, y luego junto con el público elegirá a los ganadores. 'The Next Level International Film Festival’ (TNLIFF) was inspired by filmmakers for filmmakers to encourage and help push filmmakers to their full potential. 'The Next Level’ is a platform for emerging artists to show the world what they are capable of, not just locally or nationally, but INTERNATIONALLY!
As this is the first year that the festival is running, we would like to offer a special ‘Grand Opening’ invitation to the event, meaning that the event will be FREE to all those who wish to attend as ‘General Admission’. That’s right it’s a FREE festival. So the money you save on a ticket, can be spent on the amazing food and drinks that are on offer. BEAST International Film Festival is now opening the call for entries for its second edition. This in an opportunity to bring your film to a different audience, connect with other directors, actors, editors and much more. Submit your film and give it the chance to be seen on the big screens of Porto’s cinemas, between 26th and 30th of September 2018.
One of BEAST’s aim is to provide a platform for young Eastern European artists, or Portuguese artists living in Eastern Europe - for our Portuguese Abroad section, to present their work in a western country, Portugal. Last year, BEAST IFF screened films that represented over 22 countries from Eastern Europe, in 5 venues located in the heart of Porto, Portugal. The festival has 3 competition sections: East Wave, East Doc, and ExperimentalEast, but you can also submit films for our special sections: BEAST Kids and Portuguese Abroad. Submissions are free between 15th of December 2017 - 1st of January 2018. The call for entries is open until the 1st of July 2018.

El Festival Internacional de Cine de Puerto Madryn MAFICI se realiza desde hace 13 años y es uno de los Festivales más importantes de Latinoamérica, que se desarrolla en la Patagonia Argentina.
El objetivo del Festival es brindar la posibilidad de proyectar películas nacionales y extranjeras tanto largometrajes como cortometrajes y de esta manera generar un espacio de encuentro y difusión del cine, desde un rincón de la Patagonia Argentina.
El Festival premiará las OPERAS PRIMAS de FICCIÓN a realizadores argentinos y extranjeros, con el premio “Ballena Franca Austral”, además de los diferentes reconocimientos de la Sección Oficial en Competencia.
MAFICI propone desde sus comienzos, premiar e impulsar a los nuevos directores del mundo, dando a conocer su primer trabajo cinematográfico, siendo el único Festival Argentino con esta singular particularidad.

El Festival Internacional de Cine HARD:LINE tiene como objetivo presentar las diversas caras del cine extremo.
La pregunta sobre qué se entiende por el término «extremo» puede entenderse consultando el contenido de nuestra amplia selección de películas fantásticas. El término «extremo» suele definirse mediante una estética explícita de salpicaduras, pero también puede representarse mediante métodos narrativos poco habituales o un lenguaje visual exótico. Por lo tanto, estamos seleccionando meticulosamente los ejemplos que podrían ser importantes en el futuro del género. No nos hemos fijado límites en nuestra búsqueda y tanto si una película es una perla de la escena independiente como si es divertida o obvia, ¡a H:LIFF le encantan las películas especiales!
El Festival Internacional de Cine HARD:LINE no es un festival donde la prioridad es proyectar tantas películas como sea posible, sino que se concentra en presentar algunos ejemplos brillantes de todo lo que puede ser el cine extremo.

Discovery Film Festival: Festival Internacional de Cine de Escocia para públicos jóvenes

El Discovery Film Festival se encuentra en su decimonoveno año. Con sede en Dundee Contemporary Arts, y de gira a lugares asociados en Escocia, Reino Unido e Irlanda, el festival proyecta películas de todo el mundo que han sido programadas especialmente para públicos jóvenes.
El festival incluye tres fines de semana emocionantes de películas, actividades creativas y eventos de gala, así como dos semanas de proyecciones y eventos para escuelas.
Discovery tiene como objetivo desarrollar nuevas audiencias para lo mejor del cine internacional, mejorar la alfabetización mediática y ofrecer al público joven una visión de la vida de los niños y jóvenes de otras culturas. El festival se celebra desde 2004, cuando se inició como una asociación con el Departamento de Desarrollo Educativo de Dundee, Scottish Screen y DCA.
Discovery Film Festival es un proyecto de DCA y está organizado por Mike Tait, productor de festivales y responsable de desarrollo juvenil de cine. Un equipo de Jóvenes Embajadores (de 15 a 19 años) trabaja con Mike para programar películas y asesorar sobre el diseño general del festival. Un equipo de profesores y consultores educativos asesoran sobre el programa educativo y crean recursos relevantes para el Curriculum for Excellence para las clases que visitan el festival.

En el B-Retina Festival queremos dar un espacio a la Serie B de todo tipo, desde el cine trash de guerrilla a obras de culto inclasificables; para ello talentos emergentes, artistas consagrados y personajes difíciles de ubicar, nos mostrarán cómo entienden y ven el mundo que nos rodea usando su inventiva y descaro.
Durante los días del festival nos convertiremos en un escaparate donde todo tiene cabida, películas clásicas, estrenos, cortos, series web, charlas, entrevistas y muchas sorpresas.

Patagonia Eco Film Fest convoca a realizadores de cine de todo el mundo a participar de la 9na edición del Festival Internacional de Cine Ambiental de la Patagonia a realizarse del 5 al 10 de Septiembre de 2024 en la ciudad de Puerto Madryn, Chubut, Patagonia Argentina. El evento se realizará de forma mixta, teniendo proyecciones presenciales así como también proyecciones online a través de la plataforma del festival.
Se aceptarán películas de género Documental, Ficción, Animación de temática ambiental.

Mountain & Culture es una organización cultural sin fines de lucro cuyo objetivo es acercarse a la comunidad deportiva y a la gente de la ciudad para ofrecer películas, exposiciones y todo tipo de actividades centradas en los deportes de montaña, la aventura, el medio ambiente y la cultura de los pueblos.
El Festival también crea una plataforma para el intercambio de ideas entre cineastas, atletas y el público, al tiempo que apoya las formas más artísticas y efectivas para comunicar todo lo relacionado con el mundo de la montaña.
