The 11th edition of the One World Romania International Human Rights & Documentary Festival will take place between March 16 and March 25, 2018 in Bucharest. One World Romania is the first documentary film festival established in Bucharest as well as the only Romanian festival dedicated to human rights.
We invite you to submit your latest documentaries on any topic related to human rights. Short, medium, feature length as well as interactive documentaries, with any target audience, including children and adolescents, are accepted.
CINÉXICO, the Film Festival of Loreto, celebrates films from Mexico and invites cinema lovers to experience Mexican culture on the screen and in the natural beauty of Baja California Sur. In its second year, surrounded by unspoiled, protected islands and the vibrant ocean life of the Sea of Cortes, Loreto is truly a "Pueblo Magico," giving filmmakers a stunning setting in which to showcase their films that celebrate the environment, whether natural or urban, where human experiences converge.

La 10e édition de l'IBZCF aura lieu dans 10 lieux répartis dans les cinq municipalités de l'île et en ligne sur la plateforme Filmin. Ibizacinefest renouvelle son engagement envers Ibiza et sa culture à travers un programme de titres nationaux et internationaux inédits sur l'île, des avant-premières exclusives aux îles Baléares et en Espagne, des activités destinées aux professionnels, des sections de courts métrages pour découvrir et promouvoir les talents locaux et baléares, et notre programme éducatif avec des projections spéciales pour créer de nouveaux publics.
La réflexion sera également consacrée à des discussions ouvertes sur la relation entre le cinéma et diverses questions socioculturelles actuelles.
Les courts métrages sont à nouveau au centre des préoccupations de l'IBZCF, une fois de plus en tant que qualificatif pour les Goya Awards 2026, les Forqué Awards et les Fugaz Awards, en collaborant à nouveau avec l'European Film Academy sur le programme Shortfilms on Tour.
Nous organisons notre atelier-résidence au cinéma lent avec le tournage simultané de 15 courts métrages parallèlement au festival en présentiel, qui nous permettra d'inonder notre île de plus de 120 titres de cinéma contemporain.

FTR is not only an online film festival, but also a festival with live screenings, our friends from Bucharest ShortCut Cinefest making this possible. NEFILTRAVANAE KINO est un festival de films organisé par le Short Movie Club, la plateforme dédiée aux projets cinématographiques. NEFILTRAVANAE KINO est un festival qualifié pour le prix ADAMI Media. La Conférence internationale d'études cinématographiques se tient en même temps que le festival du film. Ainsi, la théorie et la pratique du cinéma sont intégrées au NEFILTRAVANAE KINO.
À l'origine, le festival se tenait en Biélorussie, mais en raison de la répression politique et des positions anti-guerre déclarées publiquement, des projections et des événements peuvent être organisés dans différents pays. Tout d'abord en Lituanie (Vilnius). PROBLÈME D'ALIÉNATION
Nous vivons dans un monde de centres commerciaux et de cinémas multiplex. Nous constatons que le cinéma indépendant et l'art non marchand sont relégués au second plan de l'attention du public. Les attractions primitives remplacent la cinématographie. Le public évadé est aliéné derrière le grand écran. Le cinéma grand public moderne fait donc partie d'un outil de manipulation qui mène à la société de l'aliénation. Le cinéma indépendant a donc tendance à devenir plus illisible pour le grand public. Nous devons comprendre le contexte du cinéaste pour comprendre le cinéma indépendant. C'est pourquoi le concept NEFILTRAVANAE KINO implique la présence physique des cinéastes.
PROBLÈME DE SÉLECTION DE FILMS
Les cinéastes tournent des millions de films. Et des milliers de festivals de courts métrages organisent des projections dans le monde entier chaque année. En moyenne, plusieurs milliers de films sont soumis à un festival de films. Ainsi, divers bons films peuvent être négligés pour une raison quelconque. Choisir la probabilité revient souvent à gagner au loto. Par conséquent, les cinéastes n'ont aucun feedback. C'est un paradoxe que personne ne puisse vous entendre à l'ère d'Internet ! La culture dominante préfère les attractions et les visites décontractées.
Cette idée est également basée sur le problème de sélection des films. Il n'est peut-être pas surprenant qu'une seule personne, dans le meilleur des cas le directeur du programme, ou même des étudiants d'écoles de cinéma prennent la décision préliminaire de sélectionner un film. La concordance des juges ou des préviseurs est plus rare qu'une différence d'antécédents ou de goûts. La sélection ou le jugement peuvent donc être unilatéraux ou superficiels. Ce n'est pas mal car le directeur du programme a bien sûr bon goût et une bonne sensibilité esthétique. Mais nous avons découvert une autre conception du « cinéma non filtré ». Nous l'avons comparé à « la meilleure des meilleures » méthodes. Cette méthode permet de percevoir l'idiome cinématographique sans être dictée par les curateurs d'art.
CÉLÉBRATION DU CINÉMA INDÉPENDANT
Le Unfiltered Cinema Film Festival essaie donc d'éviter « le meilleur des meilleurs » moyens, mais il ne l'ignore pas complètement, bien sûr. Le festival sélectionne des sections de fiction, d'animation, de documentaire, d'expérimentation et de réalité virtuelle. Un jury récompense le meilleur film dans chaque section. Le festival organise des projections dans les salles de cinéma, au Centre national des arts contemporains et dans des espaces artistiques.
Notre objectif est de rassembler les gens autour de l'art, d'avoir un dialogue pour être heureux grâce à une communication intelligente. Le cinéma est un art, pas un sport. Le point clé de notre projet est d'établir une communication entre le cinéaste et le public.

FIDIC 2017. V COCOA INTERNATIONAL INDEPENDENT DANCE FESTIVAL
FIDIC is a biannual international independent festival that gathers international, regional and local artists in a dance event that seeks to promote artistic creation and production, research, support and exchange among colleagues. It is also an occasion to train the audience through reflection and debate meetings that are open to general public.
The festival will take place in the City of Buenos Aires from September 7th to 17th, and its program will feature both national and international shows, urban interventions, and research and exchange meetings. It will also offer spaces for collaborative productions between artists that are coming from different regions and seeking cultural exchange.
FIDIC has many different sections: international, regional and local shows that will take place both at conventional and unconventional settings, performances, spaces to reflect, meetings with producer artists, screen dance, video projections and clinics. In this edition, there will also be place for artists who address movement from a different perspective to show their work. In addition, the festival schedule includes an analysis exercise developed by an interdisciplinary team.
Screen Dance Section – Third Edition Registration is now open: June 9th to July 7th
Submissions after the given deadline will not be considered.
The third edition of the International Screen Dance Exhibition aims to disseminate and promote these expressions, fostering their production in Argentina and around the world.
Artists from any nationality are allowed to participate.
The choosing of the topic is free and authors can submit as many short films as they wish. If the screen dance video submitted is in any language other than Spanish, subtitles in Spanish must be included.
Video runtime limit: 15 minutes.
Call for entries and selection process
Call for entries includes the following categories:
• Screen dance as an artistic expression (with performers or animated)
• Videoclips developed from the choreographic movement
• Screen dance documentary
Registration of plays will not be considered.

Selection process is not competitive. Videos will be assessed by a judging panel. Results will be published on our website and social networks. Authors whose videos were selected will receive an e-mail with the proper information.
All selected videos will be included in the Festival’s video library and may be presented at different exhibitions organized during the year with exclusive cultural and or educational (not commercial) purposes.
Important: If the video is accepted, it will have to be shared through Dropbox or WeTransfer in .MOV or .MP4 h264 format, along with two pictures in high resolution and the signed statement.

It also requests the author’s agreement to reproduce and exhibit their creation/s during any of the Festival’s activities, such as exhibitions, catalogues, videos, brochures and other promotional action regarding the Festival exclusively. The artist takes all the responsibility before third parties for any kind of claim regarding the originality or authorship of the submitted project/s.

UFO – that stands for an evening filled with 15 different short movies of various genres, themes, and forms of presentation.
Short, yet elaborately enacted; symbolic and significant; focused and continually surprising.
The short film represents a striking format among film genres, as it is so diversely interpreted, maintained with passion and constantly received.
Makers of short films are challenged technically as well as in their artistry – the size provokes the craftsmanship by its shortness and at the same time serves as a canvas for cinematic experimentation and creative self-realization.
Since its establishment in 2005 the UFO – short film festival serves filmmakers from Germany and Europe – regarding especially the young talents – as a platform, to present their works for the first time in Leipzig.
Being held in january, the festival always commences the Year of Cinematic Art in Leipzig.

Le Mexico City Videodance Festival, en collaboration avec Red Nacional de Arte, invite les chorégraphes, les cinéastes, les entreprises et les artistes visuels à enregistrer leurs œuvres à la sixième édition de la FiVideoDanza, qui aura lieu du 02 au 05 septembre 2021.
Le Festival International du Film de Skepto a un caractère compétitif et est ouvert aux courts métrages sans limite quant à leur sujet, leur style ou leur budget de production. Il est ouvert aux courts métrages de toutes sortes, y compris les documentaires, vidéoclips musicaux, vidéoart, courts métrages expérimentaux, spots, fausses bandes-annonces, nouveaux formats, vidéos mobiles, etc.
Le festival aura lieu à Cagliari en avril 2022, avec des projections collatérales aux mêmes dates ou au cours des mois suivants (avant la fin de 2022 — nous prévoyons d'organiser au moins deux événements dans d'autres villes sardes et deux dans d'autres villes italiennes ou internationales). OMAI Film and Theatre Festival is a branch of OMAI. The festival was born in San Antonio, Texas at the very beginning of 2016 by Actress/Director Andrea Mundaka. Now, in alliance with the Journalist/Director Luis Franceschi, both working together to achieve a successful launch of the festival this year in Mendoza, Argentina. The idea of it is to promote the audiovisual arts around the world and give the opportunity to others to show their work and dedication for this type of art. We believe that by helping each other grow, we can all make it, and what better way to show our work than a festival? The submissions are open to everyone who has anything ready to show in a movie theatre. The 2015 edition featured two World Premieres, and fourteen Massachusetts Premieres. The vast majority of projects are independent films, including student films, animation and puppetry, documentary, and live-action narrative. Officially selected films in 2015 had directors who were as young as 22, and as old as 68. Selected films represented countries from around the world, including Japan, France, Denmark, Germany, Iran, Canada, Australia, Brazil, Russia, Italy, China, and the USA. We consider all works regardless of genre and country of origin.
We are currently accepting film submissions for the 2016 Festival!
Who we are: The Cape Cod International Film Festival is a volunteer-driven, not-for-profit organization that hosts an annual event showcasing the best local, regional, national (USA) and International films for residents of the "mid-Cape,", as well as traveling tourists, visitors from around the world, and film industry professionals. We strive to strike a balance between the film-making world and a general audience who is in need of an engaging cultural event. Our attendees tend to be well-traveled, educated, influential and supportive.
The objectives of the CCIFF are to:
1. Select and promote the absolute best films in any given year produced by a diverse and global pool of filmmaking teams.
2. Provide educational opportunities and entertainment for audience members who appreciate the effort that goes into making a quality film.
3. Provide networking opportunities for members of the film community.
4. Provide filmmakers an opportunity to interact with their audience via Q&A sessions at screenings (live and online), social events and sponsorship events.
5. Give filmmakers and production teams a chance to travel to a highly-regarded tourist destination known throughout the world for its food, beaches and "New England hospitality."
In the works for 2016 is an opening night gala on Thursday, October 6th, at the best film theater on Cape Cod: The Chatham Orpheum. The Orpheum is an all-digital cinema with a 150-seat main room and 35-seat screening room. Select short films will be showcased again in Orleans, Cape Cod at the Main Street Wine and Gourmet film loft.
We also strive to help filmmakers find a "home" for their work, and have evolving relationships with sales agencies, distributors and broadcasters. Our current slate of contacts includes: PBS, ESPN, TBS, A24, Screen Media Ventures, Shoreline Entertainment, and The Rainbow Group - with new relationships being established all the time...
We consider ourselves a boutique event, with 318 submissions in 2015. Larger festivals with a similar approach include the Hamptons International Film Festival (HIFF), Palm Springs International Film Festival (PSFilmFest), and Mill Valley Film Festival (MVFF). We aim to serve and champion high-quality work that is not industry-centric. We leave that to Cannes, Berlin, Toronto (TIFF), SXSW and Sundance. The CCIFF aspires to be one of the world's best film festivals worth the entry fee!
