The JIIFF Lab 2026 call is aimed at director-producer duos from Ibero-America developing a fiction feature project. The lab will take place from January 27 to 31, 2026 in José Ignacio, Uruguay, as part of the Working JIIFF industry program.
Participants will receive personalized mentoring from international experts in areas such as directing, screenwriting, editing, and audience design, along with networking opportunities and a final project pitch before a jury.
Projects must be in development, with a maximum budget of US$ 1,500,000 and at least 25% secured financing. Directors and producers must meet minimum experience requirements in short or feature films and festival participation, as well as residency in Ibero-America.
Awards include the Fondo Pfeffer del Sur, offering US$ 50,000 for project development, and the Musitelli Award, providing US$ 50,000 in filming equipment in Uruguay. Submission deadlines are October 31 and December 12, 2025.

JIIFF LAB
Impulso Morelia 11 calls for Mexican feature films (fiction or documentary) in postproduction to participate in its 2025 edition. Selected projects will be presented to international experts (programmers, distributors, producers) to receive feedback and support for completion and circulation.
The call closes on July 23, 2025, at 8:00 p.m. CST. Results will be published on August 26, with the in-person meeting taking place October 13–15 during the 23rd FICM.
Eligible projects must have a rough cut between 70 and 120 minutes, directed by Mexican citizens or legal residents in Mexico, and must not have participated in other work-in-progress programs or previous Impulso Morelia editions.
Awards include the José María Riba Prize ($250,000 MXN), postproduction services worth over 1 million pesos, and promotional support.

The Bogotá Audiovisual Market - BAM invites Colombian production companies with feature films in post-production to participate in an editing lab supervised by an expert, followed by market screenings at the end of the process. This initiative is part of Film Screenings – Editing Lab and Screenings for Feature Films in Post-Production.
To be eligible, feature films must have a first narrative cut and must not have premiered at festivals, commercial theaters, or digital platforms. Additionally, they should not have an international sales agent.
Selected projects will participate in an editing process focused on reviewing narrative construction as part of their Strengthening Path. During BAM week, the selected feature films will be screened, allowing the teams to receive feedback from international experts on their strengths and promotional strategies.
These activities aim to increase the circulation opportunities for the films, provide valuable tools, and foster connections with strategic allies such as film festivals, sales agents, and distributors, both national and international.

In its sixteenth edition, the Bogotá Audiovisual Market - BAM aims to support the development of feature films seeking financing options to advance their production and completion processes. To this end, the market invites Colombian production companies to participate in the FILM PROJECTS - FEATURES IN DEVELOPMENT category, submitting feature film projects that are in an advanced stage of development and have a verifiable minimum level of financing.
