Talents Guadalajara 2027 is a film development and training program held in Mexico as part of the Guadalajara International Film Festival (FICG 42). Applications open on August 10, 2026, and close on October 16, 2026. The festival will take place from March 6 to 13, 2027, in Guadalajara, Jalisco.
The call accepts national and international participants from Mexico, Central America, the Caribbean, Spanish speakers in the United States, and EICTV graduates, according to the established requirements. It covers acting, directing, cinematography, costume design, animation, production, distribution, and film criticism. It includes six Studios, the Talent Press laboratory, and the Talent Project Market, focused on feature films in development. The latter accepts fiction or documentary projects and requires 20% of financing to be secured.

Selected projects will compete for support in post-production services (conformity, color grading, sound mixing, DCP mastering, among others) and will be showcased in a private screening for national and international juries, sales agents, distributors, exhibitors, and other industry professionals during the festival days.
Colombian feature films (fiction, documentary, and/or essay) with a final cut or in an advanced editing state are eligible. Support in post-production services will be provided for two projects.

El American Film Market (AFM) 2026 se realizará en Los Ángeles, Estados Unidos, del 10 al 15 de noviembre de 2026. La inscripción para compradores y asistentes abre el 23 de junio de 2026; no se especifica una fecha general de cierre de inscripción para 2026.
AFM es un mercado internacional de la industria cinematográfica que reúne a profesionales de más de 80 países y está orientado al desarrollo, financiamiento, exhibición, adquisición, distribución y licenciamiento de películas y proyectos. Acepta participación nacional e internacional. Sus screenings admiten películas de todos los idiomas, incluyendo ficción y documental, tanto completadas como Work in Progress.
