El Festival de Cine de Scare-A-Con apoya el cine independiente realizado fuera de la participación directa en el estudio de Hollywood, trayéndoles una exposición muy necesaria a los principales estudios independientes de todo el mundo.
El Festival de Cine de Scare-A-Con (anteriormente el Festival de Cine B-Movie) ha sido un evento emocionante en CNY desde 1999! Hemos ayudado a exponer más de 10.000 películas, cortometrajes y documentales de todo el mundo. Muchas de las películas que han tocado en nuestro festival han tenido éxito en la distribución con compañías como Maverick, Image, Barnholtz, y están disponibles en su lugar como Blockbuster, Best Buy, Netflix, Amazon.com y Walmart. ¡Forma parte del festival de cine único y de la convención de terror, ciencia ficción y fantasía que exhibe las películas más desamparadas!
El festival es ahora parte de la convención de Scare-A-Con, que reúne a cientos de estrellas de Hollywood como Linda Blair, Tony Todd, Ernie Hudson, Joe Bob Briggs, John Schneider, Doug Bradley, John Russo, C. Thomas Howell, miembros del reparto de «The Walking Dead», «Mystery Science Theater 3000" y más y más de 6000 usuarios por evento! El festival y la convención organizan eventos como mezcladores de cineastas, fiestas de baile, paneles de celebridades, fiestas de disfraces y mucho más. The Unreal Film Festival is an annual film competition held in September in Memphis, TN. The festival accepts both short and feature length films from all over the world, but only films that fall under the horror, sci-fi, and/or fantasy film genres.
We find ourselves asking what things will be like in fifty years or in a hundred. What will it be like – utopia in matters large and small? How do we deal with change? What motivates us? What influences the decision to implement a change, to help carry it out, or to go with the flow?
The focus of the competition is films which deal with small or large changes – in the private sphere or in the public domain, involving individuals or companies, in the environment, countries or organizations.

Our MISSION is to discover, promote and give venue to independent filmmakers, not just from the greater New York area, but from other regions of America and abroad. For 34 years, the Long Island Film Festival has presented high quality film programs and has made a major contribution to the Long Island community by promoting films that are entertaining, educational and enhance the general public's understanding of cinema culture and the humanities.
During those 35 years, we have witnessed filmmaking transform itself from a strictly film medium to a highly technological global digital art form with sophisticated software operating on specially configured computers. As a result, there are more filmmakers attempting to break into the film industry. It is those new filmmakers that the Long Island Film Festival seeks to discover.
As an international film festival, World Lens focuses on foreign Indie filmmakers that are producing films that are pieces of their culture and set in economic, social, environmental, and political spheres. It is the commitment of the Long Island Film Festival to bring these films to America and present these perspectives to Long Islanders to enlighten and enhance their understanding of the world around us.
Our online festival is second to none. With thousands of views worldwide including industry personnel and distributors that have access to the site we have he edge over other festivals. The films selected for the online festival will be viewed on www.longislandfilmfestivalonline.org from August 1 - 31 2017. In addition the films will be screened at several venues throughout the year.
COMIC VIDEO is the first International Festival entirely devoted to comic short film (Pavia, Italy, September 18th to 20th). Free subscriptions are now open to filmmakers authors of Short-Com, Viral, Gags, Jokes and FREE theme. Awards for 5,000 euros and, for the first time in the history of such events, the subscribers have the opportunity to earn money and get in touch with the major sponsor on the market. Each candidate has the opportunity to shoot a viral for our sponsors who are really, seriously interested in the creativity of the filmmakers.

About Stuff & Objective - The Student Film Festival (Stuff) is one of the few international film and arts festivals dedicated to budding filmmaker's with aims to provide young filmmakers with an authentic film festival experience, a valuable understanding of the film industry, and an opportunity to screen their movies on “the big screen.” The Festival seeks to nurture and showcase ability as well as the art of film making which encompasses aspects of the arts, culture, history, crafts, geography, cuisine & lifestyle in short what make us what we are. Stuff films and screenings are selected and hosted by filmmakers, professors, and other notable figures in the world of cinema.
The Student Film Festival (Stuff) Founded in 2012, In past years festival gains reputation & regarded as among most prestigious festival in India. The festival grows over the years & attracts filmmakers from across the India & across the world. The Stuff festival is renowned for its wide-ranging film selections from major institutions, independent and international filmmakers, this three-day extravaganza, consisting of indoor and outdoor red carpet film screenings, fashion, dance shows, workshops, and of course shopping stalls.
The aim of the Festival is to discover, enhance and promote audiovisual works can make possible an investigation and a reflection in the vast territory of the social themes (by social unrest to the existential, the lack of jobs, poverty, youth problems, abuse of power, immigration, discrimination, status of women and femicide, war and conflict, interracial, etc …), on those realities “unknowable” that accompany and determine, in most cases, the condition or the fate of men and women. The meaning is to draw a kind of “cartography of the human situation” through tales, the testimonies, the expressions of a cinema facing a horizon of social commitment and solidarity, more and more restricted by the system of audiovisual media and television. Thus enhancing “Inexpensive works” and from top human content, with the aim of expanding the knowledge and the perspective of new points of view as timely as ever, involving all those “sensitive actors” of documentary film, which professionally or not, turn their attention to social problems, as an instrument investigation or course of study and research.

CARACTERÍSTICAS DEL FESTIVAL
El Festival Latinoamericano de Cortometrajes LAPACHO 2014 es de carácter de técnica, género y temática libres. La inscripción es gratuita. Conscientes de la importancia que tienen los medios audiovisuales en la sociedad española de hoy y, pretendiendo hacer de ellos tanto un medio de comunicación como de educación, que fomenten valores de solidaridad y tolerancia, nace el Festival Internacional de Cine Social de Castilla-la Mancha, que se celebrará en Toledo, Torrijos, Cuenca, Olías del Rey y otras localidades de Castilla-La Mancha durante los meses de octubre y diciembre de 2.026.
A este Festival se invitará a participar a entidades públicas y privadas que compartan las mismas inquietudes.
El Festival se compone de varios apartados, entre los que se incluye un concurso de cortos y de documentales, de temática social: xenofobia, conflicto generacional, explotación infantil, violencia de género, roles sociales, ecología, derechos de la infancia, convivencia, etc.

¡ Viva Cinema! se une a la comunidad y las empresas de New Haven CT del 12 al 14 de abril de 2018, para construir puentes culturales y dar a conocer el cine Latinoamericano y el arte de la narración audiovisual en idioma español y portugués.
El cuarto anual ¡Viva Cinema! Latino Film Festival es un intercambio internacional de cine, música, arte, cultura y comida en Gateway Community College. El festival exhibirá más de 100 películas junto a una competencia PSA de cortometrajes estudiantiles. Las proyecciones y eventos tendrán lugar en el teatro, durante tres días de cine y un cuarto día de música, cine y danza, a un lleno total y ritmo inagotable. An International Exchange of Latino Film, Music, Arts and Culture
¡Viva Cinema! joins with the community and businesses of New Haven CT April 12, 13 & 14, 2018 to build cultural bridges and raise awareness of Latin American cinema and the art of visual story telling in the languages of Spanish and Portuguese.
The forth Annual ¡Viva Cinema! Latino Film Festival is an international exchange of film, music, arts, culture and food at Gateway Community College. The annual festival will showcase more than 100 films with a student short film PSA competition. Screenings and events will take place throughout the theater in this jam-packed fast paced three days of film, Latino cultural and educational event. Filmmakers will compete for awards in several categories including Best Narrative Feature, Best Documentary and Best Short Film.
