The Cardiff Independent Film Festival will be held over the 5th to 7th May 2017 in Chapter Arts Centre, Cardiff. This will be our third festival, following highly successful events beginning in 2014. We're a fun, friendly and open festival run by film-lovers that celebrates the best in independent cinema and adheres to the highest ethical standards.
We're non-profit, which means ALL of the submission fees go into the running of the festival. And we are truly independent - we don't take public or corporate money so the films we pick are our favourites.
We also attract big-name guests: CIFF2015 saw talks by Stephen Frears and Paul Andrew Williams and the great John Boorman present the Welsh premiere of his final feature Queen and Country. We may be small but we punch above our weight.
We will be screening five feature films, ten short films and five short animations in competition and there will be out-of-competition screenings for other films of significant merit.

ノイダ国際映画祭は、映画の芸術を称え、さまざまな国のさまざまなジャンルの映画を展示し、新進気鋭の映画製作者を紹介するために毎年開催されます。 映画上映、パネルトーク、フィルムマーケット、ネットワーキング、ワークショップを通じて、映画祭自体は世界最大の映画都市であり、映画業界における会話や協力を促します。 その結果、映画祭は国際映画の認知度を高め、文化交流を促進することを目指しており、ノイダの映画シーンだけでなく、それ以外の分野でも重要なイベントとしての地位を確立することを目指しています。
Miniboxofficeは、インドで最も急速に発展している都市「ノイダ」の名前にちなんでこのフェスティバルに名前を付けました。 2010年にミニボックスオフィスがスタートしたこの街へのオマージュであり、街自体が北インド最大の映画都市の本拠地となっています。
第14回ノイダ国際映画祭-27の目的は、世界中の映画製作者の素晴らしい映画を大々的に紹介すると同時に、プロのネットワークを作り、参加者に映画の最新動向を紹介することです。 映画祭の目標は、インディペンデント映画製作者に力を与えることであり、インディペンデント映画製作者の成長を促進するプレミアム・ムービー・ゴーイング・イベントになることを目指しています。

Our 2015 festival was a huge successes with 253 animations entered from over 57 countries.We screened 55 out of the 253 over 3 days at Wooster, Ohio. Our next festival will be held April 4 ~ 7, 2016 at Wooster, Ohio, USA. We look forward to continuing to bring the best animations, and their filmmakers, in the world to Blue Sky Animation Festival. Tongues on Fire is also the producer of the London Asian Film Festival that aims to entertain, inform, educate and affect change in mood, emotion or thought. This annual film festival has been going strong for over fifteen years and champions both arts and cinema intertwining political and social messages with entertainment.

Each year, our festival takes place in Paris during the springtime, which is not only a beautiful season but also an exciting time of year for ÉCU, because that is when we showcase roughly around 60 of the World’s very best independent films. Although ÉCU emphasises European talent, it also recognises the genius of international filmmakers with several categories allocated to non-European films.
The next ÉCU, the 21st edition, will take place on April, 2026 in Paris, France.
ÉCU isn’t just about screening an amazing slate of films over its three-day event in Paris. There are also professional workshops led by experts in the industry, Q&A’s held with the attending filmmakers after every screening session and a chance to network with fellow filmmakers, producers, agents, industry representatives, prospective film buyers and, of course, the cinema-loving public. At ÉCU, there is a dialogue focusing on celebrating but also critiquing the world’s best indie cinema of today.
Though ÉCU’s main event IS the three-day festival in Paris each spring, there is even more! Thanks to our 50+ partner festivals, partner organisations, film centres and film commissions, ÉCU goes on an annual world tour called ÉCU-On-The-Road. This gives award-winning films (as well as many of the Official Selection films) the opportunity for their films to reach a broader, global, international audience.
ÉCU-On-The-Road showcased films in over 80 countries around the globe in 2016 to 2025 at special ÉCU mini-festivals, partner festivals, cultural institutions and film schools, including an amazing seven day special festival in São Paulo, Brazil. The event was made possible through the support of Caixa Cultural, São Paulo and was a huge success. ÉCU also held special events in Berlin (Germany), Atami (Japan) and was part of festivals in Lebanon, Italy, Russia, USA, Romania, Austria, Denmark and other countries. This gives ÉCU filmmakers great exposure to audiences that they may never have reached otherwise.
Since 2006, ÉCU has helped the careers of hundreds of independent filmmakers, actors, DPs, editors, screenwriters and we are honoured to give aspiring film directors the chance for their voices to be seen and heard.
