Short films only: under 30 minutes.
Submitted films must have been completed after 2017 and 2018 and they must also be Galician. This means they must have been either produced by companies or people from Galicia, directed by a Galician director.
Music videos must be Galician too. It means they must be either related to a song from a Galician musician or directed by a Galician author.
El FiCSor tiene como objetivo principal contribuir a la lucha por el reconocimiento de los derechos sociales, culturales y lingüísticos de la comunidad Sorda . En relación con ello, creemos que este evento artístico será una excelente oportunidad para dar a conocer la perspectiva cultural, lingüística, social y antropológica de las personas Sordas.
El propósito del festival se refiere al conocimiento tanto de los filtros externos de la pantalla, incluida la censura (comercial, ideológica, estética), como de los filtros internos de la percepción y la proyección de la pantalla, incluida la autocensura. NEFILTRAVANAE KINO es una exploración de la estetización y la mercantilización en el arte. El siguiente objetivo del festival es exponer la complejidad, la multiplicidad y la variedad del cine.
NEFILTRAVANAE KINO es un festival de cine organizado por el Short Movie Club, la plataforma de proyectos cinematográficos. NEFILTRAVANAE KINO está clasificado para el ADAMI Media Prize. La Conferencia Internacional de Estudios Cinematográficos se celebra al mismo tiempo que el festival de cine. De esta manera, la teoría y la práctica del cine se integran en el NEFILTRAVANAE KINO.
Originalmente, el festival se celebró en Bielorrusia, pero debido a la represión política y a la postura antibélica declarada públicamente, las proyecciones y los eventos pueden celebrarse en diferentes países. En primer lugar, en Lituania (Vilna). Por ejemplo, la décima edición de Nefiltravanae Kino tuvo lugar en Berlín, Vilna y Helsinki el año pasado. PROBLEMA DE ALIENACIÓN
Vivimos en un mundo de centros comerciales y multicines. Vemos que el cine independiente y el arte no comercial pasan a la periferia de la atención pública. Las atracciones primitivas sustituyen a la cinematografía. El público que huye se siente alienado detrás de la gran pantalla. Por lo tanto, el cine convencional moderno es parte de una herramienta de manipulación que conduce a la sociedad de la alienación. Por lo tanto, la tendencia es que el cine independiente se vuelva más ilegible para el público en general. Debemos entender el contexto del cineasta para entender el cine independiente. Por eso, el concepto NEFILTRAVANAE KINO implica la presencia física de los cineastas.
PROBLEMA DE SELECCIÓN DE PELÍCULAS
Los cineastas filman millones de películas. Y miles de festivales de cortometrajes organizan proyecciones en todo el mundo cada año. En promedio, se presentan varios miles de películas a un festival de cine. Por lo tanto, se pueden descuidar varias películas buenas por cualquier motivo. A menudo, seleccionar la probabilidad es como ganar una lotería. Como resultado, los cineastas se quedan sin comentarios. ¡Es una paradoja que nadie pueda oírte en la era de Internet! La cultura dominante prefiere las atracciones y las visitas informales.
Además, esta idea se basa en el problema de la selección de películas. Quizás no sorprenda que una persona, es decir, el director del programa en el mejor de los casos, o incluso los estudiantes de las escuelas de cine, tomen la decisión preliminar de seleccionar una película. La concordancia entre los jueces y los previsores es menos frecuente que la diferencia de procedencia o de gustos. Por lo tanto, la selección o el juicio pueden ser unilaterales o superficiales. No está mal, ya que el director del programa tiene buen gusto y sensibilidad estética, por supuesto. Pero hemos descubierto otra concepción del «cine sin filtros». Lo comparamos con «lo mejor de lo mejor». Esto ayuda a percibir el lenguaje cinematográfico sin el dictado de los curadores de arte.
UNA CELEBRACIÓN DEL CINE INDEPENDIENTE
Por eso, el Unfiltered Cinema Film Festival trata de evitar «lo mejor de lo mejor», pero no lo ignora por completo, claro. El festival selecciona secciones de ficción, animación, documental, experimental y realidad virtual. Un jurado premia la mejor película de cada sección. El festival organiza las proyecciones en salas de cine, el Centro Nacional de Arte Contemporáneo y espacios de arte.
Nuestro objetivo es reunir a las personas en el mundo del arte, dialogar y ser felices con una comunicación inteligente. El cine es arte pero no deporte. El punto clave de nuestro proyecto es establecer una comunicación entre el cineasta y el público.

Weird Shots es el certamen de cortometrajes de Weird Sci-Fi Show, la comunidad de fans de la cultura geek de Palma de Mallorca. Este 2020 quedemos dar a conocer, desde nuestra humilde posición, a los talentos del futuro, aquellos que, desde nuestro prisma (es decir, la ciencia ficción, terror, fantástico…) no sólo disfrutan, sino que se atreven a contar sus propias historias a través de un modo nunca dejado de lado y cada vez más valorado, como es el cortometraje. Vuelve Weird Shots, un Festival de Cortometrajes que, esperamos, se posicione como referente del corto de género a través de sus sucesivas ediciones.
Desde luego la intención está puesta en ello: todo el equipo humano detrás de la Asociación se ha volcado en ofrecer un Festival a la altura que cuenta con el cine con más historia de las Baleares como medio de exhibición, charlas que amenizarán el Festival y un jurado conformado por algunos de los nombres de más peso dentro de la cinematografía de las Islas.

It is our pleasure to announce that the 6th Ammar Popular Film Festival (APFF) will be held in Tehran, Iran .
In collaboration with the Office of Studies for Islamic Revolution Cultural Front, the festival will focus on screening short, feature & semi- feature films, in various categories including Documentaries, Fictions, Animations, etc. addressing cultural, socio-economical, environmental and political issues that endanger peace, freedom and justice in human society.
From Stoker to Rice; from Nosferatu to classic Hammer onto Twilight, The Strain and beyond - the vampire genre is the world’s most enduring and influential horror genre straddling film, television, literature, theatre, games and new media.
IVFAF brings together vampire media-makers from across the World in one cross-industry event – an intense four-day programme of film screenings, book launches, readings, theatre, seminars, workshops, networking events, a trade fair and parties.
And where else to hold this unique event but in Transylvania - within the walls of the dramatic medieval citadel that was the birthplace to the real Vlad Dracula?
Selected Feature, Short and Smartphone movies will be shown in a network of subterranean pop-up cinemas in the heart of Sighisoara’s medieval citadel. There will be an intense programme of seminars, workshops, director Q&As, a pitching competition and plenty of networking events and parties.
Delegates with an Executive Badge will also get access to the VIP Bar and a private lunch at nearby Fagaras Castle – Vlad Dracula’s base for six years.
Our vision at IVFAF is to be a unique World leading one-stop meeting of the vampire industry, networking filmmakers and performing arts professionals with funders, promoters, distributors and of course each other.
Vagrant Film Club holds its own Film Festival which takes place in one random location on a day of Spring and Autumn equinox as well as on a day of Summer and Winter solstice.
The best films are chosen only according to the audience voting. The winners will be awarded with the souvenirs, various trophies and artifacts that are gathered during the voyages.
Vagrant film club – is a non-commercial journey of one film vagabond (guru) or a group of film vagabonds along the film routes. During the journey they gather, screen and shoot independent films. CinemaVan is a means of communication between independent filmmakers, film festivals and film societies.
Film vagabonds represent the ideology that is free from political or religious doctrines. They stand for peace, love, ecology and personal freedom. Anyone sharing the ideas and values of the cinemavan and accept its rules can join it. Vagrant musicians and artists are also welcome.
The route is based on the film festivals, film societies film cafes or just friendly invitations. Film vagabond moves on foot, hitchhiking, water-hitching, air-hitching, horse-drawn hitching, by bicycle, rowboats, sailboats or even air-balloons. Car driving, catching a cab, staying at hotels is possible only in case of emergency or for the seniors, disabled or juvenile fellow travelers. Generally, cinemavan migrates to the Southern hemisphere, subtropical or equatorial climate countries in winter.
In summer it returns to Lapland, Siberia and Northern countries. This, however, doesn’t mean that Cinema gaff cannot come to Taimyr Peninsula during hard frosts or to Congo tropical forests during the rainy season.
El Festival Internacional Audiovisual –FIAfest-, evento organizado por la Facultad de Comunicación de la Universidad de la Sabana de Colombia, es un espacio para que estudiantes activos, matriculados en colegios y universidades colombianas y extranjeras, participen en la realización audiovisual.

DokuFest, International Documentary and Short Film Festival, is the largest film festival in Kosovo. Recognized as one of the top film and music event in SouthEast Europe, festival fills the cinemas and improvised screening venues around historic city center of Prizren with a selection of more than 200 hand picked films from around the world, whileat the same time bringing top international and local music acts to perform at DokuNights music festival. Documentary photo exhibitions, debates, master classes and lively atmosphere in the city all add to the charm of the festival.

También está abierta la competencia para nuestro concurso de bandas sonoras de películas de terror (inscripciones a través de nuestro sitio web). En el evento, también tenemos concursos de maquillaje en directo como Scream King/Scream Queen y FX.
Este año también celebraremos la segunda edición anual del concurso cinematográfico Room 237, en el que los cineastas competirán por crear una película en 30 días utilizando el arma asesina asignada durante una reunión inicial con Zoom. En enero de 2024 habrá más información sobre la competición cinematográfica Room 237 en el sitio web del Festival de Cine de Horror Hotel. ¡Empieza a formar tu equipo y prepárate para competir!
El evento incluye cuatro días de proyecciones de películas, dos días de mesas redondas y conferencias, una convención que comienza el viernes por la tarde, invitados especiales, fiestas de karaoke para establecer contactos, concursos en vivo y más.

The NYC Italian American Short Film Festival (NYCIASFF) showcases short films of all genres made by Italian American storytellers and artists. The festival aims to explore, examine, and celebrate the identity and heritage of this unique chunk in the melting pot that is the United States.

Improv is the art of creating something from nothing - it is the act of walking on stage with only your wits and the clothes on your back, and somehow pulling a show out of thin air. But the sparsity of the improv stage belies just how much the performers are actually working with - a positive, can-do attitude, an openness to collaboration and connecting with the audience, the willingness to try anything for a laugh, and of course, a deep, abiding commitment to the philosophy of "Yes, and." With such an abundance of skills and support at one's disposal, who needs a script?
Do you have a great video of your brilliant Improv Group? Well we want to see! The NYC Improv Video Festival will be part of a series of festivals taking place from April 27 to May 8, 2016. Animation is a fantastic, creative medium capable of bringing a storyteller’s inner visual world to life and sharing it with audiences everywhere. As the capabilities of computer-generated imagery continue to increase, there are fewer and fewer limitations as to what can be created on the screen.
Anime means "animation" in Japanese. However, in English the word Anime is often used to describe the very distinct style of Japanese animation. In some ways, Anime can be used to explore the everyday lives and fears of young people more effectively than Western Animation.

Entries requirements:
-> All films must have been made in or after 2012 and have English subtitles (unless English is the main language spoken); A creation date does not apply in case of the screen writings from being stopped for submissions, but the submitted must be in English or have a copy translated in English;
