Construir Cine ist das einzige internationale Labor Film Festival in Argentinien. Die nächste Ausgabe findet im Mai 2024 in Buenos Aires im Hybridmodus (persönlich und online) statt.
Construir Cine feiert das nationale und internationale Kino mit dem Ziel, Filmemacher anzuerkennen und zu unterstützen und das Wissen, die Zugänglichkeit und das Verständnis für soziale und berufliche Probleme in einer breiten und vielfältigen Öffentlichkeit zu verbessern.
Construir Cine ist eine Veranstaltung, die vom Fernsehsender UOCRA Foundation for the Education of Construction Workers — im Folgenden der Veranstalter genannt — mit Unterstützung des National Institute of Cinema and Audiovisual Arts (INCAA) und seiner On-Demand-Plattform CINE.AR organisiert und von UOCRA CULTURA und Construyendo Arte gesponsert wird. Dieses Festival ist Teil des Global Labor Film Festival, einer Organisation, die Arbeitsfilmfestivals aus der ganzen Welt zusammenbringt, und gehört zu „RAFMA“: Argentine Network of Audiovisual Festivals and Exhibitions.

The festival mission is to raise local and international awareness towards issues relating to family, drug abuse, and trafficking, and to help the United Nations promote its humanitarian goals.

The International Film Festival for Family, Against Drug Abuse & Trafficking open submissions from all over the world. We accept short and feature films and documentary with a general theme, but especially in relating to family, public service, against drug abuse and trafficking issues. The Festival values every aspect of a film and will acknowledge them through our value packages (directing, editing, cinematography, music, acting, etc.)
The International Film Festival for Family, Against Drug Abuse & Trafficking, will hold its festival May to celebrate International Day of Families (15 May), Global Day of Parents (1 June), UN Public Service Day (23 June), and International Day against Drug Abuse & Trafficking (26 June).
The festival will be featuring premiere screenings, film-making workshops and special guest appearances by filmmakers, mass media, and celebrities. We hope to give motivational, informative, and outstanding films to be our showcase in the Festival.

The Fine Shortfilm Festival is a non-competitive shortfilm event, hosted in São Paulo, addressed to the works of the new generations of Brazilian filmmakers.
Es sind bereits sechzehn Jahre dieses Festivals vergangen, das Jahr für Jahr mit entschiedenem Schritt seine Vorschläge für gutes Kino erweitert hat. Lies far away 1999, als das vom humoristischen Duo Gomaespuma und M-80 Radio gesponserte erste Ausgabe des Festivals mit dem Slogan „Die Indianer kommen! “. Schließlich hat sich Imagineindia internationalisiert und zeigt Filme aus der ganzen Welt, während Filme aus Asien immer noch den Großteil des Festivals ausmachen.
Das Zanzibar International Film Festival nimmt derzeit Bewerbungen für alle afrikanischen Filme (einschließlich afrikanischer Diaspora) und Filme aus der Region der Dhow Länder - Südostasien, Arabische Halbinsel, Der Persische Golf, Iran, Pakistan, Indien und die Inseln des Indischen Ozeans. FIA, International Audiovisual Festival, organized by the Faculty of Communication of Universidad de la Sabana of Colombia, is a space for active students enrolled in colleges and universities, both Colombian and foreign, involved in film-making.
Das 2011 gegründete Prokuplje Short Film Festival ist das jüngste Filmfestival in Serbien. In Prokplje findet eine Veranstaltung statt, bei der das Publikum das Beste aus den Bereichen Dokumentarfilm, Experiment, Animation und Fiktion aus der ganzen Welt sehen kann. Tausende von Filmen aus der ganzen Welt kommen an der Adresse des Festivals an, und das spiegelt sich auch in den zahlreichen Zuschauern in Prokuplje, aber auch in anderen Städten Serbiens und der Region wider, da das Team eine Tour organisiert, bei der die besten Filme in über 30 Städten präsentiert werden. Das Fehlen des Kinos sowie das Fehlen eines Films als Unterrichtsfach in der Schule hindern junge Menschen daran, etwas über diese Kunst zu lernen.
Um etwas von diesem Inhalt zu sehen, müssen die jungen Leute nach Nis oder sogar nach Belgrad gehen. Dies ist eine Gelegenheit, die neuesten Kurzfilmerfolge aus der ganzen Welt in Prokuplje zu sehen. In den letzten Jahren ist laut Untersuchungen die Besucherzahlen bei Festivals auf der ganzen Welt zurückgegangen. Aus diesem Grund und aufgrund der Einführung des Films bei jungen Menschen haben wir die Arbeit an alle Grund- und weiterführenden Schulen mitgebracht, die potenzielle Zuschauer sind und durch die Präsentation von Festivalfilmen und die Diskussion über die Bedeutung des Festivals belebt werden. Neben der Arbeit mit jungen Menschen in Prokuplje ist der Film Club Prokuplje der erste, der damit beginnt, das Publikum aus den ländlichen Gebieten zu animieren, die von allen Veranstaltungen, insbesondere kulturellen Veranstaltungen, völlig ausgeschlossen sind.

Women in Film
Women play an important role in filmmaking and there are many talents out there and to celebrate Women in Film we have two categories. One programme is a focus solely on Women directors, the second programme category will focus the work of women practitioners in the roles of writers, actresses, producers and Directors of Cinematography but please note the film lead roles must be female led. If you have a film that has a strong female led role or strong female writer etc and you want to be considered for this sectin of the festival please submit to the Women Practitioners category. Film Directors should submit to the Women in Film (directors category).
General Information.
Established in 1995 the festival is now in it's 16th International Shorts edition. Kinofilm has a unique reputation for showcasing the best short films from around the world, whilst being renowned for seeking out diverse, challenging and groundbreaking new films. We welcome filmmakers that are pushing the boundaries of the short film art form. The festival maintains a high standard with many European & International award-winning shorts featured in the Festival. It includes special programmes in North West Shorts (UK), British New Wave, Euro Cine, International Panorama, Kino Exposed (student and youth shorts), low/no budget shorts, Animation and various themed programmes, giving new and emerging filmmakers the opportunity to have their work screened alongside that of critically acclaimed, established short filmmakers.
Please note for 2019, the festival will move dates to February 2020. We will further welcome short films and animations from Eastern Europe as we extend the Polish festival to include more Baltic countries. This year we welcome films for this section from Romania and Russia.
As part of out 16th anniversary we are introducing a features section called Transitions for those short filmmakers that have successfully made the transition from short film to feature. This section is for previous entrants of Kinofilm Festival and can only be entered if you have previously had a short film at Kinofilm Festival. You must provide the name of the short film and year of the festival it was screened in advance of submitting..
All short films should have been completed since January 2018 to present and be no longer than 20 mins (accept documentaries which can be up to 23 mins including credits). PLEASE NOTE FILMS SHOULD NOT BE ONLINE FOR PUBLIC VIEWING. ANY FILMS THAT ARE SEEN TO BE IN THE PUBLIC DOMAIN WILL FACE DISQUALIFICATION.
WE ARE OFFERING STUDENTS (world wide) , GREATER MANCHESTER FILMMAKERS, Youths and community groups, Eastern European Filmmakers and Alumni Filmmakers 20% OF ALL SUBMISSION FEES (please see offers at the top of this entry). The discount is automatically applied when you submit your film to the relevant sections, entry fees start at just $10.00 Please note PROOF OF ELIGIBILITY MUST BE SHOWN in all these categories in advance of submitting the film, you will then receive a code to submit your film.
IRANIAN Filmmakers can submit for free (see above details).
Please note, if your film is selected for screening in one of the cinema screenings you must be able to provide either a DCP or high-quality Bluray of your film. Please contact us if any issues with this and we will try to resolve it by showing the film in one of the other programmes not requiring either of these formats. If it playing in one of our other venues then we will require a digital version, details supplied if your film is accepted.
REFUNDS GIVEN ONLY IN THE FOLLOWING CIRCUMSTANCES: Please note if you make a genuine mistake and submit your film to us not realising that it does not fit all of the criteria, or you have to withdraw it for other reasons, we will refund your fee if the request is made only within the first two weeks from the date of submission. Films withdrawn later for other reasons such as you wish to withdraw it as your film has been accepted in another festival that requires premier status, will not receive a refund. (Please note that any refunds will be after FFW (8%) and PP (3.5%) commission fees already deducted from your fee, you will only be refunded the net amount that the festival receives).

Our festival is planning to become a traditional annual event.
FFKZ enables all filmmakers from around the world show their films in Kazakhstan.We are waiting for good films at our festival. Particular attention will be paid to the student's work.
So we want to get to the festival as much as possible of films from around the world.
Guests and spectators will be able to FFKZ cultural performance and learn what is happening in the world of cinema at the moment.
FFKZ has not any restrictions on genres and directions, unless the film is not contrary to the laws of Kazakhstan and the ethical and moral standards of mankind. Movies Festival will take place the selection of the jury and the spectators. The jury includes professionals from 5 countries. jury list will be published later after February 1, 2017.
FFKZ is really great event in 2017 in Astana. At present there was no such large-scale events in Kazakhstan for more than 10 years.We are the first and best.

Das MOSCA — Cambuquira Short Film Festival findet in einem alten Straßenkino statt, das etwa 20 Jahre lang geschlossen blieb und 2001 als Kulturzentrum zum Leben erweckt wurde. Cambuquira ist eine kleine Stadt im Wasserkreislauf von Minas Gerais.
Das Programm setzt sich zusammen aus brasilianischen und internationalen Kurzfilmen, Sonderprogrammen, Debatten, Workshops, Fotoausstellungen, Kinderaktivitäten, MOSCA Kaffee und dem Wanderfestival in Schulen.

FRESCO: eine neue Formel eines Filmfestivals
Fresco ist eine internationale Initiative, die ein völlig neues Format darstellt, das sich von den für die Gesellschaft typischen Begriffen unterscheidet. Ein Festival, das auf die Präsentation internationaler spiritueller Werke und kultureller Werke in Verbindung mit der Organisation freier und gesunder sozialer Diskussionen über die von ihnen aufgeworfenen Fragen abzielt.
Viele Festivals demonstrieren Filme über globale Probleme im Rahmen ihres Programms. In der Regel muss das Publikum nach solchen Filmen diskutieren und übernehmen, was es gesehen hat, aber der Film bleibt die einzige Quelle für eine Antwort auf die aufgetretenen Fragen. „FRESCO“ Filmrezensionen kommen, um diese Lücke zu füllen.
FRESCO: ein informeller Ansatz
„FRESCO“ bietet den Teilnehmern des Filmfestivals eine informelle Herangehensweise an alle Bühnen des Festivals, angefangen von der Filmrezension bis hin zu den Orten, an denen die Veranstaltungen stattfinden, vom Sitz bis zum Preis.
Die wunderbaren Filme, Fotoausstellungen und Shows, die nach Armenien gebracht werden, werden aus den Kinos ausgehen und buchstäblich „die Straßen betreten“.
Rund um die Uhr Open-Air-Demonstrationen und Filmkritiken „ohne Ticket“ werden buchstäblich 10 Tage lang Teil des Alltags der Armenier werden.
FRESCO Film-Programm: Lasst uns die Sprache des Humanismus sprechen
Das Festival wird sowohl wettbewerbsfähige als auch nicht wettbewerbsfähige Programme enthalten. Fiktions- und Dokumentarfilme, Lang- und Kurzfilme und Videomaterialien verschiedener Formate, in denen Kriege, Gewalt, nationale, religiöse und andere Arten von Diskriminierung, ökologische Katastrophen menschlichen Ursprungs angeprangert werden und Frieden, Toleranz, Humanismus und globale Werte befürwortet werden. :
Kinofiguren von Weltruhm und andere Gäste, die den Themen der gezeigten Filme entsprechen, das heißt - Kirchenbeamte, Intellektuelle, Musiker, Psychologen usw., werden aus verschiedenen Ländern nach Armenien eingeladen, um an dem Festival teilzunehmen.
Über die globalen Probleme in einer verständlichen/einfachen Sprache
Nicht nur die Schöpfer des Filmstreifens werden an den folgenden Diskussionen teilnehmen, sondern auch Kirchenbeamte, Psychologen und Spezialisten, die sich direkt mit den Themen des Films und den Verantwortlichen für das Feld befassen. Jedes konzeptionelle und technische Detail im Zusammenhang mit der Filmrezension soll zur aktiven und uneingeschränkten Teilnahme an den Diskussionen beitragen. Die Spezialisten werden Teil der Filmbeobachter sein, professionelle Redaktionen werden durch uneingeschränkte Kommunikation und aktive Diskussionen ersetzt. Die Filme und die direkte Kommunikation mit ihren Machern ermöglichen es, die behaupteten Probleme in unserem Land zu „bemerken“, sie im Rahmen der Erfahrungen anderer Länder zu beobachten, und die Diskussion mit den spezialisierten und verantwortlichen Personen wird eine der effektivsten Möglichkeiten der Entwicklung werden -Versionen für die Lösung für diese Probleme.
FRESCO ist offen für jedermann
Das Festival legt auch einen besonderen Wert auf die Beschäftigung von speziellen sozialen Gruppen und vor allem Menschen mit eingeschränkten Fähigkeiten. Aufgrund der Zusammenarbeit mit den auf dem Gebiet spezialisierten Instituten werden Personen mit einer Behinderung nicht nur an allen Maßnahmen des Festivals teilnehmen, sondern auch aktiv an allen organisatorischen Arbeiten von „FRESCO“ beteiligt sein.
Die Ziele des Festivals sind:
- Förderung der Etablierung von Liebe, Solidarität und menschlichen Werten in der Gesellschaft mit Hilfe des spirituellen und kulturellen Dialogs,
- Internationale und religiöse Toleranz zu verbreiten,
- die Entwicklung spiritueller und moralischer Filme zu erschaffen und zu fördern und ihr soziales Bewusstsein als sozial-kultureller Faktor zu schärfen,
- Förderung der Kommunikation zwischen Kulturvertretern verschiedener Länder und Schaffung eines für beide Seiten vorteilhaften Bereichs für ihre Zusammenarbeit.
Experimental Forum is an international performance, film and video art festival showcasing experimental film and artists’ moving image from new directors and innovative video artists from around the globe, with the third edition taking place in Los Angeles in November 2018. Our aim is to provide a supportive platform for the exciting and challenging work that is outside the scope of mainstream film festivals and art galleries.
We welcome experimental cinema pieces (abstract, narrative or documentary), video art works, essay films, artists’ moving image and media art, as well as documentary and narrative films that seek to expand, redefine or reconfigure the means and ends of their respective fields. Experimental Forum exists to provide access to, and develop audiences for, artists’ moving image work and is committed to engaging local audiences with new and/or unheard voices in film.
We are particularly interested in works made by early stage filmmakers and artists whose work is underrepresented. We provide a collaborative platform for moving image works made for the gallery and for the cinema with the aim of building a community across disciplinary and institutional faultlines.
Santiago del Estero Film Festival (SEFF), International Festival of Independent Cinema, is a competitive Festival of shorts and feature length films with a look and regional imprint, to develop in Santiago del Estero, Argentina, from 11 to 15 July.
The Alternative Film Festival is a quarterly event that is committed to bringing filmmakers of all levels - even beginners - a chance at taking home a festival award. We are an IMDb eligible festival meaning filmmakers will be able to post their nominations and wins on their IMDb profiles.
We are the ALTERNATIVE FILM FESTIVAL - we are not your typical film awards! Our quarterly event is different - it is an awards event where we will be announcing the Winners of each of the many categories within Feature Films, Short Films and Super Short Films.
