As a forum for sharing experiences, the ART&TUR Festival has achieved a high international recognition, thanks to the quality and quantity of films that it distinguishes annually, as well as its integration into a worldwide network of similar festivals: CIFFT (International Committee of Tourism Film Festivals) that annually elects the best tourism film worldwide, among all the films that travel the international circuit of 16 festivals.
From 2018, ART&TUR Film Festival rights were transferred from APTUR to Centro de Portugal Film Commission (CPFC). Loch Ness Film Festival is a small grassroots film festival run as a scottish charity by volunteers that screen entertaining shorts films that are under 15 minutes over a weekend at the end of July each year and we also host a fun guerrilla style filmmaking afternoon.
We aim to screen the best shorts we receive either from our own backyard of the Highlands in Scotland to the other side of the world from budget to no budget.
Petaluma International Film Festival® (PIFF) is an annual event showcasing independent feature and short films from around the world.
The festival is open to all film genres.
We hope everyone has fun and enjoys themselves at the festival but a few suggestions...
Please submit as soon as possible. The process goes a lot smoother if we are not sent a lot of films at the last minute. THANKS!
This is a short film festival for films 20 minutes or less in length.
This year, we are strongly encouraging entrants to submit a link to private YouTube or Vimeo screener not a hard-copy of the film. If you must submit a hardcopy please use a paper DVD sleeve. When packaging, protect the DVD in a padded envelope, or similar package. Please DO NOT send your dvd in a slim, jewel, or standard DVD case, they almost always break in shipping.
Please note that the ONLY difference in the early submission deadline versus the final submission deadline is the fee discount. The submission process and consideration by the Programming Committee is not affected by the date you submit your film as long as it is postmarked by our final deadline - your chances are equal regardless of the day your film makes it into our offices, as long as it is postmarked by the final deadline!
ALL films submitted to the festival are seen and scored by two or more different programmers. All films that have a higher average, or are a favorite of a programmer, go on to final deliberations. GeNerk selects its films by majority vote and nothing is offered early acceptance.
Film Submissions are non-returnable for any reason.
If a film is accepted, entrants will be solely responsible for delivering their exhibition video materials to and from the festival venue. Complete press kits will be needed as soon after notification as possible. GeNerk cannot be held liable for your exhibition print/video materials which are lost or damaged.
Please note festival dates are subject to change.
Unfortunately, GeNerk does not provide room, board or travel for filmmakers.

Curt.Doc Vidreres International Short Documentary Festival is a cultural event devoted to short documentary film making. The aim of the Festival is to be an exhibition platform and meeting point for the general public, professionals and filmmakers from around the world, promoting documentaries and their makers in a innovative and accessible format.
As one of the world's leading international film and screenplay competitions, the London Film Awards celebrates and awards the work of independent film's best and brightest contemporary filmmakers and screenwriters spanning the globe. The London Film Awards is a distinguished international platform for both fresh and masterful talent to have their extraordinary work recognized and honored before the media and their industry peers.
