Originally born as a local showcase for young Neapolitan filmmakers, conceived by Mediateca Santa Sofia, ’O Curt Short Film Festival has become, along fourteen editions, a moment for gathering and sharing multiple and various cinematic experiences worldwide.
XV edition is entrusted to Tycho Cultural Association, under the coordination of Mediateca Santa Sofia, by the Councillorship for Youth of the Municipality of Naples. This edition also benefits from the support of AC/E (Acción Cultural Española).

Objeto del Festival
FICAE - Festival Internacional de Cortometrajes y Arte sobre Enfermedades convoca la 4ª edición de (4FICAE) invitando a todos aquellos creadores audiovisuales que deseen dar a conocer sus cortometrajes de todo tipo de géneros cinematográficos cuya temática principal tenga relación directa con algún tipo de enfermedad y con el ámbito de la salud.
El objetivo de este Festival es fomentar la sensibilización y conciencia social sobre la enfermedad como proceso de vida, ayudando a la desestigmatización que muchas enfermedades siguen soportando. Por otro lado, este Festival, pretende estimular la creación artística a través del lenguaje audiovisual para dar una mayor visibilidad y transmitir conocimiento sobre las enfermedades, tanto las que suponen una alteración de la salud como las consideradas enfermedades sociales y sus consecuencias.

El Festival tendrá lugar en diversas sedes de la ciudad de Valencia durante la última semana de febrero y primera semana de marzo de 2018.

The Fish&Chips Film Festival – International Erotic Film Festival wants to open, in Turin and in Italy, a window on film genre and create an opportunity to approach sexuality in a creative, free, innovative, lay, irreverent and intelligent way. Fundación Todo por el Cine, A.C., organizador del Festival Internacional Cine en el Campo, invita a realizadores de cortometrajes nacionales e internacionales a participar en el concurso que se llevará a cabo en la treceava edición del Festival Internacional Cine en el Campo (FICC) a celebrarse en los meses de octubre y noviembre, presentándose en comunidades rurales de la República Mexicana.
El FESTIVAL INTERNACIONAL CINE EN EL CAMPO (FICC) promueve el diálogo entre las comunidades rurales de México y la producción cinematográfica en cortometraje, con la intención de generar nuevos circuitos, proyectando cine al aire libre.
Apoyamos la producción cinematográfica de cortometrajes que exploran las condiciones culturales y naturales en las que habita el ser humano, la diversidad cultural y su vínculo con la naturaleza. Es bueno aclarar que los participantes en la sección «Video clip» deben declarar expresamente que están autorizados a participar en el concurso por los titulares de derechos de autor de la canción.
Cada cortometraje podrá participar en más de una sección y todos los cortometrajes presentados participarán automáticamente en la selección del premio «mejor película» y «Nuevos signos».
Sólo los seleccionados para la «mejor película» competirán también por el «premio público».

IOFF 2015is an online international film festival at its first edition. The festival’s main purpose is to create a context where films can compete with each other and receive the vote of the people, with no need of live screening.
11th Kolkata Shorts International Film Festival-22 es una fusión de la creatividad cinematográfica y la locura de los cines de la hermosa ciudad de Calcuta. La ciudad de Calcuta es el centro del cine bengalí, un destino culturalmente rico y destino de muchos cineastas en ciernes desde el siglo pasado. El objetivo del festival es dar impulso al corto cine y fomentar el crecimiento de una nueva generación de cineastas.
El humilde viaje de KSIFF comenzó en el año 2012 para conmemorar los 100 años de celebración del cine indio y para saludar la contribución de la industria cinematográfica bengalí al desarrollo del cine en la India. Las ediciones del festival de 2012 a 2021 tuvieron un gran éxito con la participación de toda la India y naciones extranjeras y son el festival que marca tendencias en la India y ahora tiene una gran demanda entre los cineastas jóvenes.
El festival ofrece plataforma a cineastas aspirantes y profesionales para mostrar su talento con oportunidades de networking y marketing en la industria cinematográfica. El festival también acoge clases magistrales y mercado de cortometrajes. El objetivo del festival es crear cultura de cortometrajes, promover los próximos cineastas, desarrollar fuentes de generación de ingresos para cortometrajes y hacer de cortometrajes una empresa comercial.
FIDOCS, el Festival Internacional de Documentales de Santiago, es el principal espacio de encuentro, difusión y competencia del cine documental en Chile y Latinoamérica. Abocado a promover el diálogo, la reflexión y formación de audiencias en torno al cine documental en un sentido amplio y en permanente transformación, FIDOCS busca explorar los diversos caminos del cine documental y las derivas de la no ficción. Esto, incorporando en su programación obras de realizadores consagrados y emergentes, donde la pregunta por ‘lo real’ se aborda en múltiples dimensiones, tensionando géneros y fronteras disciplinarias.
A lo largo de su historia, FIDOCS se ha posicionado como uno de los festivales más destacados del género en América Latina, transformándose en un espacio privilegiado del pensamiento crítico y el cine contemporáneo. A través de su exigente selección, año a año, el festival no sólo convoca a importantes exponentes de industria audiovisual nacional e internacional, sino que se instala en la ciudad de Santiago como una plataforma para cuestionar, interpretar y reescribir el presente.
FIDOCS cuenta con tres competencias oficiales para la promoción, exhibición y posicionamiento de películas chilenas y extranjeras. Estas secciones son: COMPETENCIA INTERNACIONAL y COMPETENCIA NACIONAL, ambas de largos y mediometrajes; y COMPETENCIA NACIONAL DE CORTOS EMERGENTES.
Además FIDOCS cuenta con una principal actividad de industria, DOCS IN PROGRESS, una competencia latinoamericana de primer corte donde contamos con la participación de destacados exponentes de la industria internacional, así como con tutores nacionales e internacionale específicos (montajistas, realizadores, especialistas en sonido, productores, programadores, etc.) que retroalimentan a los equipos de cada proyecto para llevar a término la postproducción de sus películas e incentivar su difusión y comercialización. Esta sección se realiza en conjunto con la sección WIP de CHILEDOC CONECTA.
El festival cuenta también con importantes actividades de formación y extensión en su ESCUELA FIDOCS, donde se convocan alumnos de las escuelas de cine y comunicaciones de todo Chile para que sus estudiantes más destacados se encuentren en un espacio intergeneracional e interdisciplinario con diversos invitados e invitadas internacionales y nacionales del festival; asistiendo a Clases Magistrales, workshop, talleres, diálogos, entre otras.
Además, atendiendo a su vocación interdisciplinaria, FIDOCS pretende acompañar sus funciones de otras intervenciones artísticas como instalaciones, exposiciones, performances, que desde sus propios medios expresivos dialoguen con el concepto de documentalidad. Así surge la sección FIDOCS EXPANDIDO, en donde se realizan focos de diversos artistas, video-artistas y cineastas vinculados al ámbito de las artes sonoras o visuales.
Por último, las películas elegidas se exhibirán en fechas posteriores a la realización del festival, en regiones de Chile o en el exterior, en la sección LO MEJOR DE FIDOCS. La misma tiene por finalidad es la extensión cultural del festival a nivel territorial, poniendo énfasis en la circulación de las obras a nivel regional, pudiendo realizarse réplicas en el territorio nacional así como en el extranjero.
