The "Oregon Short Film Festival" is a showcase of independent short films from around the world for the Portland, Oregon audience in the Northwest USA. One full Saturday of 100 short films will be compiled and screened at the Avalon Theater on Blu-Ray DVD. All short films that are under 20:00 minutes in length are eligible for submission. We are looking for creative works with good acting, original ideas, fresh concepts, great production value and strong writing. The Oregon Short Film Festival is diverse accepting films from all cultures, races, religions, lifestyles and ideologies. The Oregon Short Film Festival screenings will be thought provoking, fun, colorful, passionate, action packed as well as, cutting edge and experimental. Diversity is the theme of this festival. Women in Focus emerged in 2009 with the aim of encouraging the promotion and protection of women's rights through film, through the dissemination of films that allow give visibility to the violation of their rights and encourage debate. In this way he sought to create an open standard for men and women around the world space where open dialogue between genres and promote the active participation of the whole society to defend the full exercise of human rights, with a focus on the situation women in the world. They worked on a broad call, unlimited sex, age or origin, and with the conviction that change is possible only from the inclusion of attention.
The axis of Women in Focus is on the woman and her history of violations, to disseminate and denounce the naturalization of the unjust conditions they are facing, and give visibility to the diversity of social, cultural experiences and forms of organization, aiming thinking about other possible worlds. Through films about women also understand and discuss the construction of gender and how it is all of society we seek.
FICUNAM, the UNAM International Film Festival, was founded by the National Autonomous University of Mexico in 2011. The intention of the Festival is to promote the exhibition in Mexico of critical and innovative cinema, both domestic and foreign, in a space open to reflection, discussion of ideas, and networking. The editorial line of the Festival represents its political stance, in terms of aesthetics’ politics.
The seventh edition of FICUNAM will be held from February 21st to 28th, 2017. The award ceremony will take place in Mexico City on Tuesday 28th of February, 2017.
Since its inception, the "Festival of cinema unusual de Buenos Aires" has proposed to investigate the least explored aspects of the current film production in order to meet the expectations of those who yearn for a different filmic vision. The Exposure Short Film Festival returns for it's 2nd year on February 11th 2017!
Hosted by the University of Glasgow's Queen Margaret Union, the festival aims to give amateur filmmakers the opportunity to show off their wonderful work to a wider audience, receive feedback from experienced judges, and have the chance to win the coveted Best Picture award trophy, as well as a range of other prizes. Most importantly Exposure promises to be a day of celebration for short film and hopes to give the directors, writers, animators, and actors involved an easy and helpful step forward in their future careers.
With multiple short film screenings throughout the day showing a variety of talents across a range of different genres the festival will be a treat for all film lovers. The Union's bars, cafe, and restaurant will be open for the duration of the festival allowing audience members to attend any showing they please and enjoy the talent on show with a few cheap drinks, some great food, and hopefully have the chance to meet the filmmakers themselves!

AnimArte è un festival internazionale di film d'animazione realizzati da bambini e giovani e realizzati per bambini e giovani.
Il Festival AnimArte è solo per cortometraggi animati!
La durata massima di ogni film è di 15 minuti.
Nel 2025 si terrà la 18a edizione di AnimArte e il festival si svolgerà a novembre!
Per gli studenti internazionali (studenti di tutto il mondo), ci sono due categorie competitive (solo per cortometraggi animati): Maxi (18 anni o più) e Mini (sotto i 18 anni).
Per i professionisti internazionali ci sono due categorie: «Film ambientali» e «Culture del mondo».
Le animazioni selezionate saranno proiettate seguendo il programma preparato dal consiglio di organizzazione del Festival.
Se il film ha dialoghi in una lingua diversa dal portoghese, sarà necessario inviare un file di testo con i dialoghi del film in inglese (se possibile, con il codice temporale) all'e-mail: animarte@vouanimarte.com.br.
Una versione del film con sottotitoli in inglese è benvenuta per facilitare il lavoro di traduzione e sottotitolazione per il portoghese, ma la versione che verrà proiettata al festival deve essere presentata senza sottotitoli.
Ci sono anche 2 categorie esclusive (solo per i cortometraggi animati) solo per gli studenti iscritti agli istituti di istruzione in Brasile: Maxi (studenti universitari) e Mini (studenti delle scuole superiori e studenti dell'istruzione elementare).
La strada romana VIA XIV attraversa la valle di Monterrey da 2.000 anni. Oggi le strade e le ferrovie, alcune costruite sulle antiche strade romane, altre parallele e a breve distanza, ci danno un'idea della sua importanza e validità.
Durante tutto questo periodo sono stati un percorso di nuove idee, progresso e cultura. Il festival del cortometraggio di Verin vuole continuare questo percorso culturale, attirando lo sguardo dei creatori di tutto il mondo intorno al carnevale, all'emigrazione e al confine.

Il Miniboxoffice International Film Festival è ora Noida International Film Festival. Dopo tre edizioni di successo, il Miniboxoffice International Film Festival, che si rivolge principalmente ai cortometraggi, ora si amplia con l'aggiunta della sezione lungometraggi. Nel 2014 la direzione di Miniboxoffice l'ha ribattezzata «NOIDA», la città in più rapida crescita dell'India. È un omaggio alla città in cui Miniboxoffice è nata nel 2010 e la città stessa ospita la più grande città del cinema dell'India del Nord.
L'obiettivo del 13° Noida International Film Festival-26 è quello di presentare in grande stile il grande cinema di registi di tutto il mondo e allo stesso tempo fornire contatti professionali e presentare ai partecipanti le tendenze attuali del cinema. L'obiettivo del festival è quello di potenziare i registi indipendenti e si impegna a diventare un evento cinematografico di alto livello che favorisca la crescita dei registi indipendenti.
L'edizione 2014-25 del NIFF è stata un enorme successo con la partecipazione di registi provenienti da oltre 90 paesi. Si prevede che il NIFF-26 raggiungerà molte pietre miliari verso lo sviluppo del cinema indipendente. The first AfryKamera Film Festival was organized by FilmGramm Foundation in cooperation with the South African Embassy during the months of April-June 2006. It aimed to use cinematography to bring Africa to the attention of the Polish public. The 1st AfryKamera premiered in Warsaw and also ran in Krakow, Poznan, Lodz, Torun and Konin. The unbelievable media interest and good ticket sales during the first festival in 2006 confirmed our belief that Africa is a theme of immense interest to a growing number of people. Since the very 1st edition, AfryKamera has been well covered in the Polish media, which confirms the great marketing potential of such an event for Africa in general, as well as, for sponsors and patrons.
As it stands AfryKamera is the first African Film Festival in Central and Eastern Europe as well as the largest African-themed event in Poland and the wider region.
AfryKamera has managed to occupy a niche in the film festival market – although there are many international film festivals, they generally show a limited range of African films. AfryKamera is therefore the only festival in Poland dedicated purely to films from the continent. In the past few years the festival has decided to explore new avenues not only in the art of cinematography, but also in the presentation of African art, music, and culture.
The main events of the African Film Festival AfryKamera take place in Warsaw, Poland, traditionally in either Kino Luna or Kinoteka, the capital city's premier arthouse cinemas. The event in 2018 will last 10 days and presents 15-25 full length features and documentaries as well as some 20 short films from around the continent and from the African diapora. The key motto of the festival is "Made in Africa", as the focus is put on the quality of moviemaking on the continent and the enhanced capacity to make world-class movies.
