Das 27. Kinoarte Film Festival, das vom 2. bis 9. November stattfindet, nimmt Bewerbungen für seine Wettbewerbssitzungen mit Kurzfilmen entgegen. Filme mit einer Länge von bis zu 25 Minuten, die ab Januar 2024 produziert wurden, können an den Wettbewerben Ibero-Amerikanisch, National, Paranaense und Londrinense teilnehmen.
ICAF started organizing CHENNAI INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL (CIFF) from the year 2003. All the earlier editions have seen a gradual growth in terms of attendance as well as popularity. With the film fraternity actively joining hands with ICAF since its 8th edition, the 14th edition of CIFF promises to be bigger and better.
Striving to be in par with the best International Film Festivals across the globe, CIFF is dedicated to presenting the best of international and Indian Panorama films to the cinema loving city of Chennai, just as it showcases the best of Tamil films to the world.
The Competition Section for Tamil Films that was instituted in 7th CIFF to encourage Tamil Filmmakers has been holding a strong presence. Active participation of the Tamil film fraternity was initiated and spearheaded by Ms. Suhasini Manirathnam in the year 2009, which gave a facelift to CIFF.
ICAF’s management team includes professional from various walks of life who have a passion for movies. The senior members of ICAF include but not limited to: Mr. Kannan, Mr. Ramakrishnan, Mr. Santhanam and Mr. Thangaraj (Festival Director), Mr. Murali, Mr. Srinivasan and more. ICAF is ably supported by the South Indian Film Chamber, Producers Council, Artists & Directors Association.
The film Fraternity team providing active support to ICAF include: Ms. Suhasini, Mr. Sarathkumar, Mr.Mohan, Ms. Revathy, Ms. Rohini, Mr. Jayendra, Mr. Manobala, Ms. Lizzy, Ms. Poornima, Ms. Shylaja and many more. The festival’s presence is felt on the web, social network sites, TV and FM radio apart from the print medium. The curtain-raiser press meets, opening and closing ceremonies, gala cultural shows, Chennai Film Forum Panel Discussions, Exclusive ‘Red Carpet’ evening screenings for an invited audience etc., all studded with film personalities from international, national and popular regional cinema all add substantially to the festival’s experience. Versatility and creativity will go hand in hand at the CIFF to give an exceptional experience.

Das DIGO — X\ I International Film Festival on Gender and Sexual Diversity of Goiás ist das erste Filmfestival im Herzen Brasiliens, das sich mit Themen wie Diversität, Geschlecht und Sexualität befasst, indem es zeitgenössische audiovisuelle Arbeiten präsentiert und auf historische Rückblicke drängt. Unser Hauptziel ist es, das Bewusstsein für dieses Thema zu schärfen, um Inklusion, sozialen Wandel und Respekt vor anderen zu fördern. Als internationale Veranstaltung glaubt das DIGO-Team auch an die Bedeutung der interkulturellen Kommunikation. Diese Ausgabe wird online sein. The festival is organized by the Udada Festival Trust (UFT) and seeks to develop a local and regional audience by showcasing films that have been done by women for women and are not necessarily distributed in local cinemas or television. Special attention will be given to African films made by women and films pertaining to African women.
The mandate of the UDADA Film Festival is to:
Facilitate interaction between women filmmakers; and women filmmakers and their audiences;
Support and encourage women involved in film production;
Increase the exposure of new productions written and/or directed by women;
Showcase women productions to the Kenyan and International film industry for future ventures;
Provide opportunities for professional development;
Provide a marketplace for industry. In essence, a reverse trade mission providing local filmmakers and producers access to the national and international film industry;

18. CINETORO EXPERIMENTALFILMFESTIVAL
CINETORO ist als transdisziplinäre Festivalschule konzipiert, die sich der kuratorischen Praxis und der Ausbildung von Filmemachern widmet. Sie baut Brücken zwischen aufstrebenden Talenten und prominenten nationalen und internationalen Künstlern und fördert Analysen und Kritik in Bezug auf die Produktion und das Denken hinter experimentellem Kino und Animation.
Wir setzen uns für ein Kino ein, in dem Poesie und Kunst miteinander in Dialog treten und das seine Grenzen jenseits der Spektakulärität, der technischen Korrektheit, der Themen und Formen, die auf der Tagesordnung stehen, auslotet. Es ist ein unvollkommenes Kino, das seinen handwerklichen Zustand akzeptiert und sich mit der Wiedererlangung des Körperlichen befasst, indem es die Konstruktion von Bild und Ton reflektiert, problematisiert und in Frage stellt.
Ein Kino mit territorialer Prägung, das sich neu gestaltet, mutiert und sich vor der Welt durchsetzt. Das Territorium neu zu definieren, die Perspektive auf den ländlichen Raum zu verändern und der Gemeinschaft Räume für die Aneignung von Wissen zu bieten.

Ein fernes Geräusch poltert in der Dunkelheit des Raumes, ein Ruf, der aus den Tiefen des Ozeans kommt, ein durchdringender Song, der anzieht und bindet. Der Zuhörer greift auf die Zeitverzögerung zu und springt ins Leere. Dieser Sprung birgt eine Gefahr und ist gleichzeitig eine Begegnung mit dem Unbekannten. Diese Filme, die springen, die in der Dunkelheit, im Schatten, im Mysterium, im Spektralen, im Ton, aber auch in der Stille suchen, sind es, die uns an dieser Ausgabe interessieren.
Klang als Bewegung kann die zeitliche Dimension eines Bildes offenbaren — ob still oder bewegt. Anstatt Bilder nur semantisch zu unterstützen, kann Klang als ihre strukturelle Achse dienen. Wir suchen nach Filmen, die die vielfältigen Beziehungen zwischen Bild und Ton untersuchen oder Ton als plastisches Material behandeln. Sei es durch einen konzeptionellen Ansatz, bei dem Sound den Film strukturiert; oder bei dem die Stimme nicht nur wegen des Gesagten, sondern auch wegen ihrer Eigenschaften Gewicht hat: die Stimme als plastisches Material, als Offenbarung und Nachhall; oder wo Musik, anstatt das Bild einfach zu begleiten, zu einem strukturellen Bestandteil des Films selbst wird. Filme, die durch Ton Gestalt annehmen.
Wir wollen in die Tiefen des Klangs eintauchen, damit wir mit geschlossenen Augen sehen und hören können, während wir schwimmen und eintauchen. Denn aus theoretischer oder kuratorischer Sicht wurde in diesen Gewässern wenig erforscht
Die abgrundtiefen Gesänge wirken wie ein Ruf, und auf diesen Ruf wollen wir in dieser Ausgabe antworten. Wir suchen nach Animationen, Dokumentationen, Fiktionen, Hybridfilmen und Experimenten, die diesen Gesängen entsprechen, mit diesem Ruf, anders zu sehen und zu hören.

About the Festival
“Animax Skopje Fest” is the first animated film festival in Macedonia. We regard it as a unique opportunity to present local Macedonian creative potential in their home country; the audience will get a clear picture of what is currently in Macedonia created in this field. The festival is by nature competitive and is open to animators from around the world. The main reason why we decided to organize an international festival of animated film in the Republic of Macedonia, is the desire and need for this animated film to get a wide door in Macedonia.
Profile and Mission
The festival is the right address for anyone interested in animation as a way of communication, as a way of expanding horizons, as an effort to support a cultural form and spend leisure time in creative and constructive way, as part of a global trend of creative industries in Europe and the world. “Animax Skopje Fest” is organized by the production company “Auripigment”, in collaboration with the Association of Citizens Creative Center “Tintiri - Mintiri” of Skopje, Macedonia, with the support of Ministry of Culture of Republic of Macedonia. The main mission of “Animax Skopje Fest” is:
Promotion of animation in Macedonia;
Increasing the awareness for animation in Macedonia as a part of important cultural (creative) industries;
Contacting and communication between artists in Macedonia and abroad;
Promotion of dialog between filmmakers, designers, animators, artists, producers and viewers;
Organizing seminars, forums, workshops.
Who We Are
Production company “Auripigment” is working about 15 years in the field of audio - visual arts in the Republic of Macedonia, producing feature films, TV series, feature series, documentaries and entertainment programs intended for the widest audience. Most of the projects are characterized as projects of national interest to universal values. In this list of projects is included one of the latest projects of the production company, the first Macedonian international festival of animated films “Animax Skopje Fest”. Currently the production company “Auripigment” has produced documentary “Hristo Uzunov”, while in pre - production and production are five projects including a feature film. Festival “Animax Skopje Fest” aims to unite and encourage all animators in the Republic of Macedonia and to facilitate verification and presentation worthy of their creative potential and product. “Auripigment” production team knows quality and potency of Macedonian authors and therefore deemed it necessary to put the festival in the service of the promoter and ‘exporter’ of aesthetic founded animated audio - visual works arising from Macedonia. In fact, this festival aims to raise and build culture in terms of making animated films for adults and children who present different aspects of everyday life. The authors of these films from around the world participate in this festival by sending their animated films. Animax Skopje Fest is held in November each year. The last night of the festival, most successful animated films are awarded with prizes, which have undergone previous round of competition and are being elected as awarded by the jury - the commission. On the other hand, our team closely monitors developments in the field of world animation and also as past years, this year and in future plans to carry the best of the world in Macedonia. This is illustrated by the previous two editions of the festival, in which were reported over 400 high quality animated films from more than 35 countries worldwide. While this year's edition reported more than 200 animated works from more than 40 countries from all around the world, which this time, also, will compete for the main prize “Golden Brick”.
9rd Morce-GO Vermelho - GOIAS HORROR FILM FESTIVAL - ist ein Filmfestival im Herzen Brasiliens, bei dem zeitgenössische audiovisuelle Werke und historische Rekonstruktion mit den Themen Horror, Spannung und Horror verknüpft werden. Das Festival kann fiktionale, experimentelle und animierte Produktionen sowie Workshops und Debatten anbieten.
Ziel ist es, lokale Produktionen in Brasilien und auf der ganzen Welt für Liebhaber von Horrorfilmen, Spannung und Horror zu fördern und zu fördern, wobei einige der kreativsten unabhängigen Produktionen von Kurzfilmen in Wettbewerbsshows und Spielfilmen auf dem Programm stehen.

Das Festival hat einen internationalen Charakter und alle Autoren mit Filmen in Übereinstimmung mit anderen Sätzen können teilnehmen. Die für den Wettbewerb ausgewählten Filme werden in zwei Kategorien beurteilt:
1. FILM REZEPT - eine Art Dokumentarfilm, die vollständige Bild- und/oder Textanweisungen für die Zubereitung von kulinarischen Kreationen (Mahlzeiten, Getränke oder Wüsten) anzeigen sollte, einschließlich Informationen über die erforderlichen Zutaten und Arbeitsablauf. Basierend auf diesen sollte man nach dem Filmschauen in der Lage sein, das Rezept vorzubereiten.
2. OPEN KATEGORIE - ein Film, der Inhalte im Zusammenhang mit Lebensmitteln und/oder Getränken thematisieren oder darstellen soll.
Die Dauer der eingereichten Filme ist auf 15 Minuten begrenzt.
Das Imagine This Women's International Film Festival (ITWIFF) zielt darauf ab, unabhängige und aufstrebende Frauen und nicht-binäre Filmemacherinnen aus der ganzen Welt zu stärken und zu stärken.
Beim 8. jährlichen Imagine This Women's Film Festival werden leidenschaftliche, mutige Originalfilme von Frauen und nicht-binären Filmemacherinnen und Geschichtenerzählerinnen, Fragen und Antworten, pädagogische Podiumsdiskussionen und Sonderveranstaltungen gezeigt.

The central theme of this edition is "Territories, showing resistance".
This theme seeks to generate debate and thought about the processes of resistance that are taking place in Colombia regarding the care and dignification of the territories. We start from the relationship of body and territory, and we claim that in that exercise of counting our territories (those we inhabit and those that forced us to leave) and the struggles that are in them, we are revealing resistances.
