VII FESTIVAL NACIONAL DE CINE RURAL DE AYACUCHO
El Festival de Cine Rural surge en el año 2016 a partir de una iniciativa presentada por el Lic. Emilio Quiroga a la Dirección de Cultura de la Municipalidad de Ayacucho, con el objetivo de fomentar la producción audiovisual en nuestra ciudad.
Cada año lanzamos una convocatoria abierta a nivel nacional e internacional para cortometrajes de ficción y no ficción que aborden lo "RURAL" desde su forma y/o contenido. Nuestra intención es conocer la perspectiva de este concepto y enriquecernos con producciones de otros lugares de nuestro país y el mundo.
El Festival ofrece programas de capacitación y acompañamiento con herramientas teóricas y prácticas de realización audiovisual a quienes se suman a esta iniciativa en el ámbito local. Nos referimos a los docentes y estudiantes de escuelas e instituciones educativas, sedes barriales, organizaciones, o simplemente grupos que deseen participar y sean residentes en la ciudad de Ayacucho.
Estos son algunos de los conceptos centrales que hemos puesto en práctica a lo largo de estos años y que seguiremos desarrollando dentro de este espacio:
• Realización de cortometrajes entendida como una herramienta educativa poderosa que fortalece habilidades cognitivas, la creatividad, la resolución de problemas y el trabajo en equipo, motivando a los estudiantes de manera innovadora.
• Capacitación básica en Producción Audiovisual, talleres para los docentes sobre cómo guiar a los estudiantes en la creación de cortometrajes. Esto incluye enseñarles lo básico de la planificación, la grabación y la edición de videos. Muchos docentes no tienen experiencia previa en estas áreas, por lo que la formación los ayuda a liderar estos proyectos.
• Evaluación integrada de los cortos realizados por los estudiantes entre distintas materias, de modo que los docentes reconozcan la relevancia de los proyectos más allá de su área específica.
• Proyectos colaborativos donde diferentes docentes (como los de artes, historia, literatura, ciencias y tecnología) trabajen juntos en la creación de un corto interdisciplinario. Esto puede incluir una unión de áreas temáticas para abordar un problema común desde diferentes perspectivas.
• Recursos educativos online o tutoriales de YouTube para los docentes sobre cómo aplicar el cine en diversas áreas. Esto puede incluir cómo grabar una escena, cómo iluminar correctamente o cómo trabajar el sonido, todo a un nivel accesible para los educadores que no tienen experiencia cinematográfica.
• Acceso a software de edición sencillo o plataformas en línea (como InShot o CapCut), que los estudiantes puedan usar en casa o en el aula para editar sus proyectos. También pueden utilizar herramientas de grabación de sonido o efectos simples para facilitar la creación de contenido.
• Charlas y cursos de guion o modelos de storyboard que los docentes puedan adaptar a sus materias. Esto ayuda a que los estudiantes sigan una estructura adecuada a la hora de escribir sus guiones, haciendo que los relatos sean más consistentes, independientemente del área en la que
trabajen.
• Impulsamos y promovemos la sala de cine de nuestra ciudad y otros espacios alternativos de proyección.
• Vinculamos y alentamos la cooperación entre escuelas rurales y urbanas.
• Generamos proyectos socio-educativos en escuelas, institutos y centros de formación.
• Dictamos charlas, cursos y capacitaciones abiertas a la comunidad.
• Producimos contenidos y recursos audiovisuales para dependencias del Municipio de Ayacucho.
• Producimos cortometrajes locales que abarcan historias de ficción y documentales rurales, así como otras temáticas de interés para los realizadores.
Esta experiencia se ha convertido en un fenómeno que cada año crece, superando sus expectativas iniciales. Nos moviliza dar a conocer nuestra identidad, promoviendo la puesta en valor de la cultura ayacuchense y de nuestro país. Hacemos énfasis en las relaciones humanas y los vínculos que derivan de este encuentro para un beneficio mutuo.
Estrechamos alianzas entre nuestra comunidad y personas y grupos que se acercan a la ciudad de Ayacucho provenientes de localidades cercanas, otras provincias y ciudades de nuestro país, convocados por el evento social y los valores que el Festival de Cine Rural representa.
Es necesario, desde nuestra intervención, garantizar el acceso a un lenguaje simbólico, indispensable para transitar el mundo que nos rodea y construir las imágenes y sonidos de nuestro tiempo, siendo esta una tarea fundamental para el desarrollo de la sociedad, el fortalecimiento de la democracia, la equidad y el acceso al trabajo. Nos acercaremos al audiovisual como un objeto a pensar y en constante transformación.
A final del mes de Junio de 2017 se realizará la primera Muestra Fílmica El Buen Vivir en la ciudad de Viena, Austria.
Papaya Media Association (Asociación Medial Papaya), organizadora del evento, invita a
presentar trabajos para la pre-selección de los participantes en la I. Muestra Fílmica El Buen Vivir.
La inscripción de las obras en la selección es gratuita (excepto cuando una plataforma intermediaria exija una inscripción mínima), el plazo vence el 15 de abril de 2017 y los detalles para la presentación están descritos en el presente reglamento.
Podrán participar las películas que cumplan con el requisito de no exceder más de 5 años anteriores al año de inscripción a la Mostra. Aquellas películas que sobrepasen este tiempo sólo podrán participar en las secciones paralelas.
Las exhibiciones de las películas se harán principalmente en H264 HD pero también en 35 mm, Beta Digi con sus respectivas copias en DVD (PAL) y Bluray al aire libre en el cine abierto del Archivo Fílmico de Austria en la ciudad de Viena.

En los ciclos anteriores se contó con un programa variado, que fue dividido en largometrajes, cortometrajes y documentales incluyendo la categoría de animación. El público siempre tuvo acceso a lo más reciente de la producción regional pero la temática de la presente muestra no tiene precedente alguno en esta latitudes.
El creciente entusiasmo con que los eventos cinematorgráficos es el motivo por el cual la Asociación Medial Papaya se ha dado a la tarea de organizar la primera Muestra Fílmica El Buen Vivir.

After several film festivals and screenings about Latin America, Viennese society already has a relative knowledge of the regional productions in that area, while the local interest in the audiovisual production of Latin America has been growing. In previous festivals a varied film program was shown, divided into feature films, short films, documentaries, and animated films. The public was always shown the most recent productions of the region, but the theme of this current screening has no precedent.
The growing enthusiasm with which film events have been received has motivated Papaya Media Association to organize the first Buen Vivir Film Screening.

The Buen Vivir Film Screening is an undisclosed event in this city and does not consist of a competition. It is rather a window to the vast film world of the region in order to show the most recent and important works of its movie culture. The selected movies will be able to participate in diverse cultural exhibitions taking place in other Austrian and/or European cities.
Objectives
• Allow the European public to become familiar with the most recent audiovisual productions about ancient and new life philosophies.
• Promote the increased production and distribution of quality audiovisual work made in all the sub regions of Latin America.
• Provide space for reflection and debate, give professionals the opportunity to keep in touch with current developments, and support the communication between Latin American and European artists, especially around the topic of Buen Vivir.
• Contribute to the understanding of cultural diversity and the establishment of tolerance by putting different realities and social ideals in touch with each other.
• Promote the Buen Vivir philosophy as a topic of international and general interest in the film world.
• Promote cinematic production about this topic within Europe.
• Stimulate producers from all over the world to invest specifically in the topic for a redundancy that ends in a more egalitarian and democratic way of life.
The Buen Vivir Film Screening provides a space for:
• Identifying and spreading video and film productions related to this important philosophy and proposed way of life and development.
• Informing the public and attracting the attention of the media and institutions that work in the audiovisual production industry as well as the promotion of local places and tourism, both in filming as well as content.
• Convening distinguished directors, producers, distributors, cinematic personalities and specialists, both local and international.
• Promoting and stimulating initiatives directed towards the development of policies and projects intended to increase, both in quantity and quality, the areas of work available to producers and topical experts in the planet.
• Holding touring exhibitions in diverse cultural public spaces

Modive-se es un festival de cortometrajes y largometrajes que se celebra en la ciudad de Campinas, para mostrar películas con temas LGBT.
La primera edición se llevó a cabo en 2014, con el patrocinio del Gobierno del Estado de São Paulo.
Directed by Women SPAIN es es la celebración del cine dirigido por mujeres en España.
Es un festival no competitivo que basa su programación en la diversidad, tanto en la forma como en la temática, de los trabajos que exhibe.
Nuestra celebración pertenece al movimiento internacional Directed by Women, que desde el 2015 celebra en septiembre el cine dirigido por mujeres, con el fin de dar visibilidad a las directoras y fomentar la equidad en la industria cinematográfica.
Cineteca Madrid y el CICUS de Sevilla acogen la undécima edición con una rica programación con sesiones de cortometrajes, largometrajes, documentales inéditos, sesiones para público joven e infantil, talleres y masterclass. Todas las creadoras serán invitadas para presentar sus trabajos y así el público tendrá la oportunidad de conversar con ellas en directo.

El Museo Romano de Oiasso y el Ayuntamiento de Irún organizan el Festival Internacional de Cine Arqueológico del Bidasoa.
El objetivo del Festival es acercar la arqueología al público en general, a través de la difusión de material audiovisual fruto del trabajo de los arqueólogos, asegurando la promoción y difusión de estas películas.

Inconvenient Films is an international competitive human rights documentary film festival, taking place in various cities and towns accross Lithuania. Established in 2007 as an annual film event, it is currently the biggest documentary film festival in the country and the only film festival of this kind in the Baltic States region. FrightFest staged its first edition in 2000 at the Prince Charles Cinema, off London’s Leicester Square.
The objective of FrightFest, when founded, was to provide the UK with a fantasy and horror film festival of similar stature to the market leaders in Europe and the US. FrightFest has since evolved into a community where audiences and guests alike travel from all over the world to be part of the event’s unique atmosphere.
Away from our London August event, which in 2018 runs from the 23rd to the 27th August, the festival also stages a Halloween extravaganza on the last Saturday of October and hosts a regular two-day terror-thon in Scotland as part of the Glasgow Film Festival. Dates for this in 2018 are the 2nd and 3rd March.
We are currently accepting submissions for our annual five-day August in London. The deadline for features for August is 1st June and 29th June for shorts.
