THE NEXT EDITION OF THE MADEIRA FILM FESTIVAL WILL BE MARCH 27 - APRIL 1 2020.
We continue to accept submissions but please not your film will be submitted to the 2020 edition NOT 2019. This is due to Government elections on Madeira.
Teatro Municipal Baltazar Dias, Funchal, Madeira, Portugal.
The entry fee is 30 / 40 / 50 Euros depending upon submissions date and irrespective of genre and running time. Exhibiting filmmakers will be offered 3 nights accommodation including breakfast on Madeira during the festival.
Call for entries
The call for entries starts on August 16th 2018 and will remain open until April 2nd 2019.
The Madeira Film Festival is non – competitive. Rather than present awards MFF offers delegates the status of ‘AMBASSADOR OF THE LAURISSILVA’ thus helping to preserve and create awareness of Madeira’s endemic Laurissilva forest.
The Madeira Film Festival organisation fervently believes there is no better place in the world to stage a film festival than on the piquant Island of Madeira and there is no better place on Madeira to stage a film festival than in glorious Reid’s Palace Hotel and the Municipal Theatre in Funchal.
The crux of the Madeira Film Festival is to pay homage to the resilience of Madeira’s endemic Laurissilva Forest by screening a slate of films which are expansive, unsettling and profound,films which will hopefully impinge upon the viewers imagination.
One of the most effective measures that can be implemented in order to raise awareness of the Laurissilva forest and subsequently it’s preservation is through the undisputed persuasive strength of audio- visual communication. The aspiration of the Madeira Film Festival is to become one of Europe’s foremost film festivals, by sheer virtue of location there exists an inherent capacity to attain this.
ANTOFACINE, o Festival Internacional de Cinema de Antofagasta, é uma instância de encontro para cineastas nacionais e internacionais; com base nessa premissa, gostaríamos de contribuir para:
● Promover filmes de ficção, não ficção e animações como ferramentas para a transformação cultural e social e para beneficiar todos os residentes da região de Antofagasta.

O Festival de Curtas-Metragens Aguilar de Campoo se consolida como uma das citações cinematográficas mais veteranas e relevantes do nosso país em seu gênero. A Academia de Artes Cinematográficas da Espanha o inclui como um dos principais festivais para a seleção de curtas-metragens que competirão no Prêmio Goya. Nas últimas edições, o festival vem tomando decisões importantes que o comprometem com o cinema de nosso país. Em sua décima terceira edição, ele publicou seu manifesto, onde exibiu sua filosofia e compromisso com o cinema. Ele tomou a decisão de pagar pela seleção dos curtas-metragens selecionados, eliminando assim a competição econômica a fim de incentivar a criação e produção artísticas. Suas salas de exibição estão abertas ao cinema internacional, incluindo todos os gêneros, ficção, animação documental e cinema experimental. Em 2016, o festival recebeu o reconhecimento da AIC (Short Film Industry Association). Animação artística, retrospectivas de autores, filmes que estimulam a criatividade. O festival de 22 anos acontece todos os anos na Lituânia, mostrando os melhores trabalhos de animação não comercial de todo o mundo. Fidé é um festival na França que é completamente dedicado ao documentário estudantil internacional. Trata-se de qualquer trabalho filmado, sonoro ou multimídia apoiado na realidade e que foi realizado durante os estudos do diretor. Universidades, escolas, oficinas e estudantes de todo o mundo participam, por cerca de 600 documentários registrados todos os anos. Seus princípios são os da promoção e da celebração das criações estudantis, exceto os circuitos habituais, nos quais raramente encontram seu lugar.
O festival não tem restrições quanto à data da produção ou suporte original, assunto ou duração.
Diretores de todas as nacionalidades são bem-vindos a inscrever seus filmes. Legendas em francês ou inglês são exigidas.
O próximo Fidé terá lugar em abril de 2021, nos subúrbios parisienses.
The Georgia Latino Film Festival is a 501(c)3 non-profit under the direction of Latinos in Information Sciences and Technology Association Inc. (LISTA). Latinos in Information Sciences and Technology Association Inc. (LISTA) is a certified 501(c)(3) non-profit providing institutions, organizations, events and corporations with technology and cultural enrichment services. These services include presentations, workshops, lectures, film festivals and more.
The Georgia Latino Film Festival operate in Atlanta Ga and Norcross Ga. Located just minutes from Stone Mountain. Norcross is a small town known for it’s arts centers, restaurants and easy access to area attractions, trails, restaurants, shopping and scenic byways.
The Georgia Film and TV Office, a component of the Georgia’s Department of Economic Development, the Atlanta Mayor's office on Film and Entertainment and the Georgia Production Partnership are annual supporters of the event and is sponsor of the festival and it’s activities.

A celebração da XVI Edição do Festival de Cinema e Curta-Metragem CortoGenial acontecerá na cidade de Puente Genil (Córdoba, Espanha) entre 10 e 18 de outubro de 2025.
É bem-vinda qualquer pessoa (diretor de cinema, produção ou distribuição) que tenha o controle legal da obra ou obras enviadas possa participar.
REQUISITOS:
− Os curtas-metragens devem ter sido produzidos em 2024 ou 2025.
− Os curtas-metragens não devem durar mais de 20 minutos.
− Cada cineasta pode inscrever quantos trabalhos desejar.
− Produções não filmadas em espanhol como idioma principal devem ser enviadas com legendas em espanhol para sua exibição.
− Os cineastas serão proprietários dos direitos legais de suas obras e responsáveis pelos direitos de autoria dos curtas-metragens.
A mostra faz parte das propostas de difusão e fomento que apontam para a difusão da cultura audiovisual na região norte da República Argentina da Wayruro Comunicação Popular e da Red Kalipa TV, e a conta com o apoio do INCAA, da Secretaria de Cultura da Província de Jujuy, entre outros, e com o acompañamiento da Red Focos, do Espacio Norte Audiovisual e da CONTAR.
O 26º Festival Internacional de Cinema Asiático de Vesoul terá lugar de 11 a 18 de fevereiro de 2020.
O Festival tem como objetivo promover filmes asiáticos e através deles, a cultura dos países do Próximo Oriente ao Extremo Oriente.
