ConectaLAB is an audiovisual laboratory organized by the CREA Association and sponsored by the Xunta de Galicia, aimed at screenwriters and directors based in Galicia who are developing feature film or series projects in fiction or documentary. The application period for the 2026 edition runs from October 27 to December 20, 2025. Selected projects will take part in a seven-day artistic residency from April 14 to April 20, 2026 on San Simón Island in Pontevedra. This call is only open to Galician authors, meaning international submissions are not accepted. ConectaLAB focuses on creative development and scriptwriting, offering professional script and directing mentorship during the residency. It accepts projects in the following formats and genres: feature fiction films, feature documentaries, TV fiction series, and TV documentary series. Eligible submissions must include at least a complete first draft for feature films or a pilot draft for series, along with a project dossier. Up to six projects will be selected to participate in this intensive development experience.

Eligible projects must be live-action fiction series, excluding animation and documentary, with a minimum of three episodes, each lasting at least 26 minutes.
The event will take place in person in Lille, France, as part of the Series Mania Forum. The main activities will be held from March 24 to March 26, 2026, including pitching sessions and one-to-one meetings with industry professionals. SERIES MANIA FORUM
Histeria Lab is a workshop dedicated to the development of film projects in the genres of horror, fantasy, and science fiction. It is part of the Histeria International Fantastic Film Festival, held in San José, Costa Rica. Its goal is to provide filmmakers with tools and guidance to enhance their projects and facilitate their entry into the market. During the workshop, participants receive training and personalized advice from national and international professionals in areas such as screenwriting, direction, production, and pitching. Activities include masterclasses, individual sessions, and the preparation of a pitch, which is presented at the end of the event.

Hysteria Lab
Ventana Sur Guiones is a program aimed at emerging Latin American screenwriters developing original feature-length fiction projects. The initiative focuses on script development through mentorships, pitching workshops, and meetings with industry professionals, providing opportunities to connect with producers and agents.
Applications for this edition are open until September 19, 2025, with selected participants announced on October 20, 2025. The program will take place from December 1 to 5, 2025, in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The call exclusively accepts feature-length fiction projects and does not consider short films, series, or fully produced works.
The program aims to support the professional growth of emerging Latin American screenwriters, offering a space for learning, visibility, and networking within the international audiovisual industry. Selected participants have the opportunity to present their scripts to producers and experts, enhancing the potential for their projects to move toward production.

Screenplays – VENTANA SUR
ComedyLab 2026 es un laboratorio de desarrollo de proyectos de comedia organizado por TorinoFilmLab en Italia. Está dirigido a guionistas y comediantes de todo el mundo, con el objetivo de desarrollar largometrajes de comedia a través de talleres presenciales y online. Todos los materiales y proyectos deben presentarse en inglés, que también es el idioma de trabajo de los talleres y actividades.
El programa se extiende desde marzo hasta noviembre de 2026 e incluye varias sesiones: un taller preliminar en Turín a finales de febrero, workshops en Bélgica y Polonia durante abril y junio, y sesiones online en septiembre y octubre, finalizando con la presentación de proyectos en Turín en noviembre.
Las postulaciones están abiertas a nivel internacional hasta el 12 de diciembre de 2025, y se enfocan exclusivamente en proyectos de comedia en formato largometraje. Los participantes sin proyecto también pueden unirse para colaborar en el desarrollo de los trabajos seleccionados.
