BIOBIO CONECTA is the Industry and Market of the Lebu International Film Festival, co-organized with Bio Ingeniería Audiovisual Ltda., in collaboration with Universidad del Desarrollo, Universidad San Sebastián, Universidad de las Américas, Universidad Santo Tomás, AIEP, CEDUC LEBU, Universidad Católica de la Santísima Concepción, Uniacc, Universidad del Bío Bío, and Duoc-Concepción.

It will take place from April 27 to 30, 2025, in Concepción, with the support of the Ministry of Cultures, Arts, and Heritage.

The LAB CINELEBU program has been created for those who have an audiovisual project and wish to refine it and transform it into a viable proposal with national and international projection, enhancing the creative industries of the Bío Bío Region and Chile. Participants will have the opportunity to receive private consultations with important professionals from the audiovisual industry. The consultations will cover areas such as direction, executive production, distribution and commercialization, and scriptwriting.

Participants of LAB CINELEBU will be selected based on the submission they send, considering the coherence of the proposal and the presentation of all the required materials. The sessions are private, in-person, and will last a maximum of 30 minutes.

On this occasion, BIOBIO CONECTA will not cover accommodation or transportation costs for the selected groups. It will only provide accreditation for access to all activities and two lunches per selected group.

Euro CineLab 2025 is a training and production lab aimed at emerging and self-taught filmmakers from Central America, organized by Cineuropa in collaboration with the European Union Delegations in Costa Rica, El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua, and Panama. The program focuses on short film production, with the central theme being "self-portrait." Participants will receive 40 hours of theoretical and practical online training over ten days in March 2025. Through this lab, filmmakers will learn how to develop a short film between three and ten minutes long. The five best works from the 25 selected, one from each country, will receive a 500 € prize and be screened at European film festivals held in each nation. Additionally, festival audiences will have the chance to vote for the Audience Award. This project provides a unique opportunity for emerging filmmakers to gain professional experience and showcase their work in an international setting.
