Il SITGES - Festival Internazionale del Film Fantastico della Catalogna è un festival di genere fantastico specializzato e competitivo in conformità con i regolamenti stabiliti dalla FIAPF (Federazione internazionale delle associazioni di produttori cinematografici). Il Festival è stato anche dichiarato «Festival Qualificato» dall'Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences® negli Stati Uniti. Ciò significa che i cortometraggi che vinceranno i premi come «Miglior cortometraggio» nella Selezione Ufficiale Fantàstic e «Miglior cortometraggio» nella categoria Anima't verranno automaticamente presi in considerazione dal comitato di selezione degli Hollywood Academy Awards®.
The fifth year of RIFE again showed the festival to be a must attend event complete with sold out screenings, packed networking events and incredible attendance from film lovers and filmmakers visiting from across the globe. We are eagerly anticipating topping our best year yet at our fourth annual Reel Independent Film Extravaganza. Continuing our partnership with West End Cinema, RIFE15 will once again be held in the prestigious and historic Georgetown sector of Washington, DC for a week long run from October 9 - 16.
The festival will continue to celebrate national and international independent films and filmmakers, with screenings at one of the city's top independent film theaters, West End Cinemas, and parties and events in the surrounding Georgetown area. RIFE15 will once again feature an awards ceremony as well as a filmmaker meet and greet for all attending filmmakers and pass holders.

Last year we expanded our reach to include venues not only throughout regional and metro NSW but also major international venues – New York, Bogota, Berlin and Los Angeles all took part in what was an amazing festival and we are hugely thankful to all that made it possible.
We were very proud to see two of our films be nominated at the American Academy Awards in 2013: Aquel No Era Yo and Mr Hublot were both nominated with Mr Hublot going on to win the Oscar for best animated short.

Empowering current and future generations of artists currently underrepresented in front of and behind the camera, Diverse Points of View, a sponsored project of Fractured Atlas, a non-profit arts service organization, launches this year and will present arts and entertainment created by minorities in three cities: Chicago, Dallas and Atlanta between February and April 2015. We encourage foreign film submissions.
In each city, Diverse Points of View will conduct a four (4) day international film festival complete with workshops, panels, independent and studio films, fine art gallery, live music events, industry parties and plenty of networking mixers. Filmmakers, film, TV, music, art and entertainment executives and celebrities are invited to participate in the event developed to highlight the creative work of artists from around the world.

Il FENAVID International Film Festival si svolge ogni anno nella città di Santa Cruz, in Bolivia. Organizzato dalla Audiovisual Foundation (FUNDAV), il Festival è diventato l'evento cinematografico più importante della Bolivia e uno dei più importanti dell'America Latina.

Oltre al glamour e alle proiezioni di film, FENAVID è un macroincontro in cui convergono produttori, registi, attori, specialisti e tutta una moltitudine di persone appassionate di cinema.
Durante i giorni della sua realizzazione, il Festival ha una serie di attività parallele, come proiezioni di film per bambini, gare di videoclip, workshop, conferenze, colloqui e dibattiti.
Uno degli eventi più attesi di FENAVID è il Santa Cruz 100X100 Film Production Meeting. Consiste nel riunire 25 talenti cinematografici emergenti in America Latina. I prescelti si recano a Santa Cruz de la Sierra e, durante lo sviluppo del festival, hanno la missione di produrre un cortometraggio in 100 ore.
