アニマルテ・フェスティバルは短編アニメーション映画の祭典です！
各映画の最大上映時間は15分です。
2025年には第18回アニマルテが開催され、映画祭は11月に開催されます！
留学生（世界中から集まった学生）には、マキシ（18歳以上）とミニ（18歳未満）の2つのコンペティション部門（短編アニメのみ）があります。
国際的な専門家には、「環境映画」と「世界文化」の2つのカテゴリーがあります。
選ばれたアニメーションは、映画祭の組織委員会が準備したプログラムに従って上映されます。
映画にポルトガル語以外の言語のセリフがある場合は、映画のセリフを含むテキストファイル（できればタイムコード付き）を電子メール（animarte@vouanimarte.com.br）に送信する必要があります。
ポルトガル語の翻訳と字幕作成を容易にするため、英語字幕付きの映画でも構いませんが、映画祭で上映されるバージョンは字幕なしで提出する必要があります。
また、ブラジルの教育機関に在籍する学生向けに、マキシ（大学生）とミニ（高校生および初等教育学生）の2つの特別カテゴリー（短編アニメーション映画のみ）もあります。
