"CineMigrare – Rassegna Internazionale di Cinema Senza Frontiere" è concepita nel 2017 dall’Associazione Culturale “No_Name”. Questo progetto nasce dalla volontà di realizzare una rassegna itinerante sul tema dei migranti, quanto mai attuale. La manifestazione, articolata in eventi di un’unica giornata e ad ingresso totalmente libero, prevede la proiezione di documentari e cortometraggi di tematica prettamente legata al tema dell’integrazione di soggetti stranieri ed espressioni di comunità immigrate presenti in Italia. Per ciascuno dei singoli eventi è prevista l’assegnazione di premi ai registi che meglio hanno saputo veicolare la conoscenza del tema dell’immigrazione e dell’integrazione. Si tratta di un modo di presentare da un nuovo punto di vista un argomento considerato da alcuni spinoso ma assolutamente centrale per le società italiana e siciliana in particolare.
Our mission is to engage the Gulf of Mexico Community through education and film and to showcase the work of local filmmakers. If you have a short film addressing an ocean or coastal issue concerning the Gulf of Mexico, from your own backyard to the deep sea, please think about entering it into our Harte of the Gulf Film Competition.
Films should be no longer than 15 minutes and address an ocean or coastal topic concerning the Gulf of Mexico region. Films can be fiction or nonfiction.
In an effort to include filmmakers from around the entire Gulf of Mexico region, films will be accepted in languages other than English, but must have English subtitles. You can submit your film into one of two categories: High School or General Public.
Make It Short is a two-day short film festival covering a range of topics from all over the world. Through short films we can experience a huge range of subjects and styles, and our festival includes social commentary, humour and animation. Although we are presenting work on certain themes each short film also stands alone.
This is our first Make It Short. As well as adult submissions it will include shorts created by local schoolchildren and students, and by Brazilian children as part of our cultural exchange programme.

GBFF festival takes place over several weeks starting mid-January and wrapping up March of 2018. Specially selected films have an opportunity to be played in the festival segment called "Films Around Town" (playing in various venues around town) leading up to a weekend event March 1-4, 2018 at St. Norbert College.
This year the festival is focusing on more networking opportunities for filmmakers over the March 1-4 weekend! More events, engagements and seminars all within walking distance of the St. Norbert college venues. We also provide the filmmaker “Green Room” where your conversation and networking continues throughout the weekend!
GBFF has a multitude of categories! We have specific category types so your film has a better opportunity to get selected. So, if you find your film fits in Animation, Children & Family, Cultural, Thriller/Horror or is a Wisconsin made film, you’ll want to be sure to select that option! GBFF always has a Short film segments, documentaries and features playing during their weekend sessions. Plus, be sure to consider submitting to GBFF's ever popular Saturday Night THRILLER & HORROR segment. This year our special Thursday night choice will be chosen from the topic “Storytelling”. The Great Lakes International Shorts Festival has officially opened its Call for Entries and is now accepting films of all short lengths and genres including Narrative, Animation, Experimental, and all forms of Horror, Suspense, Sci-Fi, and Thriller films, along with Comedies, Religious/Spiritual, Music Videos, and Documentaries, and GLBT films, for the 2019 season.
The 2019 Great Lakes International Shorts Festival shall accept Music Videos from around the world of cross-continent and cross-genre productions. We shall accept Music Videos of all genres from Pop, Punk, Rock, Alt-Country, Country-Western, Folk, Reggae, Hip-Hop and Electronica, Jazz, Blues, Zydeco, Industrial, Metal, Hardcore, Gothic, Karaoke, Avant-Garde, World Music, and Experimental.
The 2019 GLISF will accept all forms of Religious, Christian, and Spiritual films including African, African-American, GLBT, Black, Hispanic, Islamic, Latino, Native/Aboriginal, and student films from the United States and around the world.

Il Festival Internazionale di Cortometraggi Intergenerazionali sugli Anziani (FICMA) è nato all'interno della Federazione delle Associazioni degli Anziani di Salamanca (FAMASA) con l'obiettivo di fornire un'offerta culturale che contribuisca a migliorare la qualità della vita degli anziani, anche con dipendenza o disfunzioni, avvicinandoli a una piena cittadinanza e offrendo il patrimonio culturale di cui sono protagonisti. Si celebra ogni anno tra settembre e ottobre dal 2016 nella città di Salamanca, essendo un incontro di cultura intergenerazionale
Il Festival si pone come luogo di dibattito e discussione per domande come: in che modo il cinema ha trattato la vecchiaia? Il riflesso del ruolo degli anziani nelle relazioni familiari, sentimentali, emotive e sociali. Le conseguenze positive o negative del cinema sugli stereotipi e sulle credenze sull'anziano e anche se tratta allo stesso modo sia l'uomo che la donna.
L'importanza di dare dignità alle relazioni intergenerazionali tra giovani e anziani diventa fondamentale per trovare modi per un futuro migliore.
OBIETTIVI
L'obiettivo della FICMA è far sì che gli abitanti di Salamanca si avvicinino al cinema dal punto di vista della terza età. Questo festival è un'occasione d'oro per offrire una festa cinematografica alla città e una visione attiva e positiva da parte di questa parte della popolazione.
Il festival ha l'obiettivo di mostrare la parte positiva degli anziani e rafforzare le relazioni intergenerazionali.
IFF ZOOM - ZBLIZENIA (Jelenia Góra) è uno dei più grandi e importanti festival di cinema indipendente in Polonia. Il suo obiettivo è quello di presentare il cinema d'autore, ambizioso e di alto valore artistico, con argomenti originali e indipendenti, nonché la promozione dell'arte cinematografica indipendente.

The government has been the main provider of education in many parts of the world. However in emerging economies, the private sector is playing a pivotal role. Many poor parents forego free government education and spend their hard earned money on private alternatives. There have been lots of stories of creative innovations and solutions devised to tackle challenges and issues in Education.
EduDoc: Stories of Education is an International Short Film Competition by Centre for Civil Society (CCS) where we want to put Challenges, innovations and celebrations in the spotlight. The main objectives are:
• To identify and document social, political, cultural and regulatory challenges of education system through audio-visual medium
• To highlight various solutions devised by individuals, groups, communities, organizations, governments etc
• To celebrate Eduprenuership

Both the dance and the video are aesthetic means very powerful expression, which can ask ourselves as a society and help us to mobilize and integrate groups who are at risk of social exclusion.

Il FIC AUTOR (Festival Internazionale del Cinema d'Autore) è interessato a film unici e artistici che superano i limiti della narrazione tradizionale. Cerchiamo lungometraggi e cortometraggi che riflettano la visione creativa personale del regista e uno stile sufficientemente distinto da risplendere attraverso il processo collettivo.
CI INTERESSA SOLO CIÒ CHE MOSTRI NEL TUO FILM, quanto sei CREATIVO e come racconti la storia, e basta. Non ci interessa se il tuo film ha star riconosciute o nomi sconosciuti, se è stato girato con un Arri o una reflex digitale, se è stato accettato in mille festival o nessuno. Non basiamo le nostre decisioni in merito al genere, all'orientamento sessuale, al colore della pelle o all'etnia come in altri festival. Siamo contrari alla politica e alla burocrazia che inondano l'industria cinematografica. Il 100% dei film accettati proviene dalle iscrizioni, non invitiamo film. Vogliamo essere riconosciuti come un festival obiettivo con una competizione agguerrita e il cinema globale più creativo nelle nostre sale!
Siamo partner di RAINDANCE Film School MX, quindi se sei uno dei nostri registi selezionati, proietterai anche il tuo film lì e avrai la possibilità di tenere una masterclass in una delle scuole di cinema più importanti del mondo e chissà, magari sarai notato da Elliot in persona!
Il FIC AUTOR si svolgerà a novembre a Guadalajara, Jalisco, Messico e Tequila Jalisco. Presenteremo i migliori film di tutto il mondo, dai film più inaspettati e creativi a basso budget di registi sconosciuti, ai film realizzati da registi esperti/famosi. Mano a mano, questa competizione è dura! FIC AUTOR si impegnerà a diventare uno degli eventi culturali più importanti della città. Aspiriamo a diventare un punto di riferimento internazionale per i nuovi registi!
Nella settima edizione abbiamo consegnato il primo Anello Onorario alla nostra prima ospite d'onore, l'attrice candidata all'Oscar Yalitza Aparicio («Rome» dir. Alfonso Cuarón) Continueremo a invitare talenti interessanti provenienti da diversi campi.
