IndieFlicks is the UK's monthly film festival, supporting the best up and coming filmmakers from around the world. IndieFlicks is continuously growing, hosting simultaneous screenings in Manchester, London and Sheffield. We also host a repeat screening the following week in Liverpool.

How our monthly festival works…
Our Monthly Festival is a showcase of Short films from around the world, screening 50 minutes of short film in the first half, followed by our selected Feature Short in the second. We also host a Q&A with filmmakers able to attend and talks with local creatives.
At each event, two films will be selected to win either one of our awards:
The People’s Choice Award
The Directors Choice Award
Films included in the first half are nominated for our 'The People's Choice Award’; This is evidently voted for our audiences on the night and votes are calculated collectively from all of our venues.
In the second half of the night we host our 'Feature Short', one film no longer than 50 minutes. This is our headliner for the event. This film is awarded, ‘The Directors Choice Award’, one that our Judging panel felt deserves recognition.

Filmmakers will be notified throughout the year. If successful, your film will be screened on the first Wednesday of a selected month.
"LE PLEIN DE SUPER" is a SHORT FILM TOUR organised by the French association "La Boîte Carrée".
La Boîte Carrée goes on tour by bus across FRANCE (Pays de la Loire) and PORTUGAL to bring cinema to small villages on the road. LE PLEIN DE SUPER is a real opportunity (and most of the time the only one) for people and communities to discover short films and share unique moments.
The screening usually takes place outdoors.
For the third edition, the bus will hit the road again on April 1, 2018 until September 30, 2018. There will be more or less 45 screenings to ensure that each short film will be screened several times.

The "Oregon Short Film Festival" is a showcase of independent short films from around the world for the Portland, Oregon audience in the Northwest USA. One full Saturday of 100 short films will be compiled and screened at the Avalon Theater on Blu-Ray DVD. All short films that are under 20:00 minutes in length are eligible for submission. We are looking for creative works with good acting, original ideas, fresh concepts, great production value and strong writing. The Oregon Short Film Festival is diverse accepting films from all cultures, races, religions, lifestyles and ideologies. Iron Mule ist die einzige monatliche Kurzkomödie New Yorks, die Erzähl-, Dokumentar-, Animations- und Experimentalkomödien aus aller Welt vorstellt. In unseren 15 Jahren haben wir mehr als 1.000 Filme vorgestellt, darunter frühe Arbeiten von vielen berühmten Filmemachern und Komikern wie Stephen Colbert, Seth Macfarlane, Lena Dunham, Aziz Ansari, Abbi Jacobson und Ilana Galzer.

Puerto Madero IFF is an online annual competition based of the technical execution of films.
All submission are evaluated on each technical category: Script, Cinematography, Sound, Acting and Direction.
At the end of each year we announced the official selection films based on their creativity and technical execution.
Our festival is ONLINE only at the moment, we are working hard to make an annual event with public screening.
All the Official Selections and Winner are posted in our Social Network with a growing audience of more than 4600 followers and also on our web site.
All Official Selection will receive laurels.
The winner film will receive a technical reviews and laurels.
Leiden International Short Film Experience (LISFE) is an annual film festival held in the beautiful city of Leiden in The Netherlands. LISFE is dedicated to Short Films from all genres and from anywhere in the world. Over the years we have built the reputation of successfully showcasing though-provoking films through a diverse and selective program.
This year the festival will take place from the 7th until the 10th of May in Kijkhuis (Leiden).

Das Cambodia International Film Festival (12. Ausgabe im Jahr 2023) ist die bedeutendste und branchenorientierteste Filmveranstaltung im Königreich Kambodscha und Südostasien. Jedes Jahr zeigt die Veranstaltung prominente Bilder und empfängt Gäste aus Kambodscha und dem Ausland.

ROFFEKE wird „rafiki“ ausgesprochen, was ein Suaheli Wort bedeutet „Freund“. 'Friendship, Fun, Freedom' lautet das Motto des RoCK 'n' Roll Film Festival, Kenia.
Die Hauptziele von ROFFEKE sind:
1) Präsentation lokaler und internationaler Rock „n“ Roll Filme und Musikvideos für die Zwecke der Bildung und Unterhaltung.
2) Organisation von Workshops, Foren und Seminaren zu verschiedenen Aspekten der Rockmusik und der Filmindustrie.

ECOZINE INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL — Das Internationale Sozio-Umwelt-Filmfestival, organisiert von der Ecozine Cultural Association, wurde 2008 als Plattform für soziales Bewusstsein und kulturelle Förderung gegründet und setzt sich für das Kino als Instrument für Veränderung ein.
Engagiert für die Präsentation und Verbreitung audiovisueller Produktionen mit sozio-ökologischen Inhalten.
Jedes Jahr, im April, wird die Stadt Brüssel zur Hauptstadt aller Fantastischen Dinge. Das BIFFF, eines der größten internationalen Fantastischen Filmfestivals der Welt (sicherlich das verrückteste), zeigt während seines 13-tägigen Marathons mehr als 100 Filme, von Fantasy bis Thriller, Sci-Fi, Kult, Horror, Anime, Experimental, Underground usw., davon etwa 90 Spielfilme und 100 Kurzfilme als Welt-, internationale, europäische oder belgische Premiere.
This year's show is a mixed cocktail with a strong stir from the flaming absinthe spoon. Again proving the world isn't flat, we are set to tour with one of our best shows to date. To provide you with a taste of what's what... We are proud to present Jonas Georgakakis' "Saga of Biorn" a ferociously funny animated Nordic tale divulging the absolute truth about how one might earn the right to enter Valhalla. Then there is Javier Mrad's "Techopolis," an absolutely amazing 12min stop motion piece resembling Fritz Lang's Metropolis black and white film. This is the only show where so many entertaining films like these take the spotlight and are given full theatrical effect.
Before the "Festival of Animation" it was difficult to see independent, experimental, and foreign animation. Spike and Mike embarks on yearly world-wide film hunting expeditions. They have signed-on animation from the National Film Board of Canada, Cal Arts, Sheridan, Royal College of Art, Annecy, and select studios active amongst the art-house scene that at one time did not have a public venue. This Festival has come to be known as one of the most anticipated touring events on the circuit.
Initially, Spike and Mike produced the "Classic Festival" and later both the "Classic" and "Sick and Twisted" simultaneously- but by the early 2000s, the "Classic Festival of Animation" was phased into hiatus by the Sick and Twisted Festival (mainly featuring shorts venturing into the non sequitur e.g. "Lloyd's Lunchbox"). "The Festival" (meaning the current show) premieres a new cavalcade of adventurous films annually. Spike & Mike's "New Generation Animation" noted as the latest genre in animation, without question is now premiering the most captivating film-set of thought provoking concepts, humor, story, and daring production design in animation.
In animation, it is important to have an accurate gauge on the pulsating shifts in pop culture. Spike and Mike's content has evolved with the changing tastes of our times. The shows in their entirety have toured globally in theaters, film festivals (such as Cannes, Sundance, Annecy), college campuses, and dynamic events such as the Vans Warped Tour, the Winter X Games, and with the nu-metal band Korn.
