Das Festival zeigt narrative und dokumentarische Spiel- und Kurzfilme, Musikvideos sowie Experimental- und Animationsfilme in wettbewerbsorientierten und nicht wettbewerbsorientierten Bereichen. Diese Veranstaltung wird durch Repertoire und Sondervorführungen ergänzt. Das 22. Cine Las Americas International Film Festival (CLAIFF22) fand vom 1. bis 5. Mai 2019 in Austin, Texas, statt. CLAIFF22 begrüßte nicht nur über 3.000 Zuschauer für Filme und Sonderveranstaltungen, sondern zeigte auch 114 Titel. Diese Auswahl repräsentierte die Teilnahme von 25 Ländern an der Produktion oder Koproduktion der Projekte, darunter Argentinien, Australien, Bolivien, Brasilien, Kanada, Chile, Kolumbien, Costa Rica, Kuba, Dominikanische Republik, Ecuador, Frankreich, Deutschland, Jordanien, Mexiko, Niederlande, Peru, Portugal, Katar, Spanien, Arabische Republik Syrien, Großbritannien, Uruguay, USA und Venezuela.
In den letzten 22 Jahren hat Cine Las Americas mehr als 2.600 Filme in Austin und bei verschiedenen Vorführungen im Bundesstaat Texas gezeigt und ist damit zu einer der renommiertesten lateinamerikanischen Filmorganisationen des Landes geworden. Cine Las Americas bleibt eine gemeindeorientierte Organisation, die vielfältige Möglichkeiten für Kultur, Bildung, berufliche Entwicklung und Unterhaltung bietet. Jedes Jahr bringt das Filmfestival eine Vielzahl internationaler Filme und Filmemacher nach Austin, bietet Netzwerkmöglichkeiten für Branchenfachleute und bietet den Teilnehmern ein reichhaltiges kulturelles Erlebnis.
Sie wissen es besser als jeder andere: Einen Film von weniger als 4 Minuten zu drehen, erfordert viel Talent und Kreativität. Deshalb ehrt das Très Court sie seit mehr als zwanzig Jahren mit seinem Internationalen Festival, das im Juni gleichzeitig an etwa fünfzig Orten auf den fünf Kontinenten stattfindet. Die Vorführungen finden ausschließlich auf der großen Leinwand, in Theatern oder im Freien für ein ebenso treues wie leidenschaftliches Publikum statt.
Die Très Courts sind in sechs Auswahlen aufgeteilt, von denen zwei im Wettbewerb stehen: Internationaler Wettbewerb, Wettbewerb für Wörter der Frauen, Französische Auswahl, Familienauswahl, Dokumentarfilmauswahl und Laugh-Auswahl (vor dem Ende der Welt).
Egal, ob Sie ein Anfänger oder ein Profi, ein Klassiker oder eine Avantgarde sind, solange Ihr Film nicht länger als 4 Minuten dauert, zögern Sie nicht, Ihr Glück zu versuchen, zumal die Registrierung Ihrer Filme kostenlos ist. Alle Genres werden akzeptiert: Fiktion, Dokumentarfilm, Animation, CGI, Drama, Komödie, Dokumentarfilm und sogar Gore- oder Horrorfilme.
Today it is difficult to find a person who does not take pictures. Photography has become available to everyone, and this has radically changed the way that photographs are represented. And this, in turn, changes its meaning. The thousands of static shots that we see every day nowadays convey the dynamics of our lives better than any other medium.
Our festival is dedicated to the rare genre of the photomontage, which is based on this aspect of the perception of photography and the variety of editing options, and our program shows vivid examples of film art created without expensive equipment and millions of budgets. And, as always happens with real art, these works are not forgotten immediately after the last credits, but remain with us for a long time.

Der Zweck, „UP INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL“ in Indien zu haben, ist es, den Spiel- und Kurzfilmemachern Ausdruck der Freiheit zu geben, die nach internationalem Engagement suchen.
Indien ist ein sich schnell entwickelndes Land der Welt mit seinen vielfältigen Kulturen, Traditionen und Spiritualität. Uttar Pradesh (Uttar Pradesh) ist der größte Staat in Indien. Wir, das „UP INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL“, werden die Kunst, die Kultur, die Traditionen und die Orte des touristischen Interesses in U.P. der Weltgemeinschaft durch die Organisation eines 3-tägigen Internationalen Filmfestivals in Varanasi (Kashi) präsentieren.

Each year, our festival takes place in Paris during the springtime, which is not only a beautiful season but also an exciting time of year for ÉCU, because that is when we showcase roughly around 60 of the World’s very best independent films. Although ÉCU emphasises European talent, it also recognises the genius of international filmmakers with several categories allocated to non-European films.
The next ÉCU, the 21st edition, will take place on April, 2026 in Paris, France.
ÉCU isn’t just about screening an amazing slate of films over its three-day event in Paris. There are also professional workshops led by experts in the industry, Q&A’s held with the attending filmmakers after every screening session and a chance to network with fellow filmmakers, producers, agents, industry representatives, prospective film buyers and, of course, the cinema-loving public. At ÉCU, there is a dialogue focusing on celebrating but also critiquing the world’s best indie cinema of today.
Though ÉCU’s main event IS the three-day festival in Paris each spring, there is even more! Thanks to our 50+ partner festivals, partner organisations, film centres and film commissions, ÉCU goes on an annual world tour called ÉCU-On-The-Road. This gives award-winning films (as well as many of the Official Selection films) the opportunity for their films to reach a broader, global, international audience.
ÉCU-On-The-Road showcased films in over 80 countries around the globe in 2016 to 2025 at special ÉCU mini-festivals, partner festivals, cultural institutions and film schools, including an amazing seven day special festival in São Paulo, Brazil. The event was made possible through the support of Caixa Cultural, São Paulo and was a huge success. ÉCU also held special events in Berlin (Germany), Atami (Japan) and was part of festivals in Lebanon, Italy, Russia, USA, Romania, Austria, Denmark and other countries. This gives ÉCU filmmakers great exposure to audiences that they may never have reached otherwise.
Since 2006, ÉCU has helped the careers of hundreds of independent filmmakers, actors, DPs, editors, screenwriters and we are honoured to give aspiring film directors the chance for their voices to be seen and heard.

The Mile High Horror Film Festival is now open for submissions!
The MHHFF is recognized as one of the top 5 coolest horror/sci-fi film festivals in the world by MovieMaker Magazine. It returns to the Alamo Drafthouse Cinema in Littleton, CO May 7-10, 2020.
The MHHFF showcases the very best genre films from around the world. During our next festival, we will be celebrating our 10-year birthdate in an epic celebration of the horror genre.
We pride ourselves on giving a voice to quality, independent genre films and catering to the filmmakers who create them.
In our previous festival, we showcased over 90 films from several different countries, many of which were premiers.
We gave away thousands of dollars worth of prizes to filmmakers and screenplay writers.
