Berlin Sci-Fi Filmfest was the first genre-specific Sci-Fi film festival in Germany. Berlin is a metropolis that welcomes a better future. In 2024, we stumbled across an emerging genre that we have named Psychopunk. Psychopunk uses familiar tropes of Cyberpunk to explore relationships, mental health, self-expression, and human potential in a rapidly changing world of technologies such as artificial intelligence, prescription and designer drugs, and cybernetics. Psychopunk stories tend to be about normal people facing normal problems. If you have a movie or script that fits this description, we are very interested in seeing your film.

The "Festival Cortos para Tiempos largos" is a proposal for the training, creation and circulation of audiovisual content carried out by young Colombians since 2020 with a clear purpose, to connect people and stories. The festival is not looking for winners, it is conceived as a space for the dissemination and visibility of audiovisual products, carried out for academic and non-profit purposes, where all those who wish to be part of a great story can participate.

As there are many films which did not get a release and makers did not get a good platform to showcase their cinema. RDIFF will provide them an online platform where they can schedule it and show it to the world. RDIFF will promote those films in the market (for that RDIFF will connect with the independent filmmakers separately, for query email us with Subject: RDIFF Play)
All projects officially selected will receive the official laurel and the custom certificate of achievement according to their final status in the competition through email.
The competition is open for professionals as well as students with separate section for student filmmakers.
Since we our guided by valour of Braveheart Queen Rani Durgavati, we will have a special category for Women Independent Filmmakers.

5 Film & Photo Awards Festival
The 5 Film & Photo Award is an International Event for Film and Photography with the Intention to create a bridge between different countries and cultures. The Festival is inspired by a 500 years old tree in the suburb of Damavand, located in the village of Aro.
This tree has been the subject of photographs of International Director and photographer Abbas Kiarostami every year in different seasons for many years. His photographs have been exhibited under the title “Snow White” in world-renowned galleries such as the Centre Pompidou in Paris and the Museum of Contemporary Art in New York.
About 5 years ago, Mahdi Khorashadizadeh, a documentary photographer and Filmmaker and the Founder of 5 Film & Photo Awards photographed this tree again and created the festival to celebrate this cultural and iconic symbol, which symboliyes Abbas Kiarostami’s artistic legacy.
The number “5” is derived from the movie “5” made by Abbas Kiarostami, which has been published in 2002 and contains 5 scenes with the average duration of 16 minutes.
Festival 5 is a prestigious and large festival for film and photography. This festival supports artists from all over the world by awarding exquisite prizes. We have been holding this festival for five years. Our goal is to find independent and modern artists. We support independent artists. Artists who have worked hard to produce their works.

Festivals need access to films to be able to screen films. Without films screenings at festivals cannot take place. Hence, for participation we need the screener. Due to past bad experience, the data's long travelling distance from one continent to other during playback of films "on the fly" for example European in excess of 10,000km distance away from Australia, continuous and frequent frame freezes ocured during the event, the movies keeps stopping and starting as there was no continuous connection, low bandwidth and relatively slow speed (Australia has a slower internet than many countries around the world). Its a fact.
Nobody wants to watch a film that keeps stopping and starting.
This kind of technical glitch makes some films unwatchable, if played back from Vimeo, Festhome listing platform. Hence a screener download is a MUST be provided so it an be watched flawlessly, without interruptions, and without getting skipping, lagging frames etc. Thank you for your understanding. CIFF Admin

RISF is a screenwriting and short film festival where we celebrate storytelling and the people who create the stories. The festival is run by multi award-winning screenwriters and filmmakers who are constantly writing, producing and shooting. Their own films have screened and won awards at international film festivals such as Rhode Island and Newport Beach. They live, breathe and eat scripts and films.
A physical festival, it will be hosted within the 1960s architecture of Duke Street Church, with its recently renovated auditorium space, in the heart of the beautiful London Borough of Richmond-upon-Thames. The venue is just a five minute walk from the station and close neighbours to the stunning and iconic Richmond Theatre.
Run in association with multi award-winning production company Nine Yards Films.
The festival will take place on SATURDAY 16th NOVEMBER 2024, including curated SCREENINGS of our short film Official Selections. Cine Curtas Lapa is an independent, non-profit festival with free entry. The Festival aims to show films that were made or have as their theme the city of Rio de Janeiro in order to promote the Brazilian audiovisual industry, especially short films from Rio in the city's most traditional nightlife neighborhood. The idea is to bring a program of fiction, animation and documentary shorts to the public of Lapa, enriching the cultural life of the bohemian neighborhood.
