Shorts made with brain, heart and guts!
Nour Gharbi was born in Paris in 1980 and he is currently living in Rome. He has worked in the movie industry for the last 10 years. After a Master’s degree in cinema at the Sorbonne, he graduated at the CEFPF film school as an assistant-director. He worked as an assistant-director and then as a camera operator for TV, cinema and independent film productions. For almost three years now, he is working as a film director. His first short film was Rimbalzello (Ricochet), a dramatic gangster story that won in 2014 the Special Jury Prize at the MAAZZENI Film Festival in Sicily. Mokusatsu (Contempt), his Japanese short film and tribute to Japanese classic cinema, won 11 prizes and was selected in more than 41 festivals all over the world. In 2015 he directed his last short film, The Taste of Salt, a silent film about sea and destiny. Nour Gharbi is now working on his first length feature film.
