The Chilean Film Festival (FECICH) has opened its industry section with the “Cine Chileno en Construcción” call, aimed at Chilean filmmakers with projects in post-production. The call is exclusively for national works, in fiction and documentary genres, accepting both short and feature films. Short films should range from 5 to 30 minutes, while feature films should be between 60 and 100 minutes.

FECICH’s Industry section focuses on supporting projects in development, helping them reach completion and connecting filmmakers with audiovisual companies and institutions. Selected projects can participate in the Work in Progress competition, receiving feedback and visibility opportunities.

Applications close on Monday, January 5, 2026, and the competition will take place from January 28 to 30, 2026, as part of the festival running from January 24 to 30, 2026, in Quilpué, Chile. This call represents a significant opportunity for Chilean filmmakers seeking support and exposure for their projects in the final stages of production.

ParisDOC Works‑in‑Progress 2026 is a call from the professional platform of the Cinéma du réel festival, focused on feature documentary projects in advanced editing or post‑production stages. Submission opens on November 17, 2025, and closes on January 7, 2026. The event will take place in Paris, France, on March 25 and 26, 2026, during the festival. The call accepts international submissions from any country, provided materials are in English or French, or with subtitles in one of those languages. The BAM Projects – Documentary Films 2026 call is aimed at feature-length creative documentaries in development, with a minimum duration of 70 minutes. It is organized by the Bogotá Audiovisual Market and is open exclusively to Colombian projects, where both the legal entity and the director must be Colombian nationals.

Applications are open from November 13, 2025, and close on January 8, 2026, at 3:59 p.m. Colombia time. Selected projects will be announced on March 27, 2026. The BAMprojects – Fiction Films call by the Bogotá Audiovisual Market is aimed at feature-length fiction films in development. Applications open on November 13, 2025, and close on January 8, 2026, at 3:59 pm Colombia time. This call is open exclusively to national projects; the production company must be a Colombian legal entity, and the director must hold Colombian nationality.

Selected projects will take part in a development program including preliminary meetings from March 30 to April 1, 2026, and a mentoring route from April 20 to June 5, 2026. The program culminates with the Bogotá Audiovisual Market, taking place from July 6 to 10, 2026.

Only feature-length fiction films with a minimum duration of 70 minutes and at least 20 % of funding secured are eligible. Projects should not have begun shooting. The call aims to promote the development of Colombian fiction films, providing visibility and networking opportunities within the audiovisual industry.
