ABYCINE LANZA – Amnesty International Human Rights Short Film Competition 2026 is a Spanish call promoted by Amnesty International and Abycine, focused on the creation and promotion of short films addressing human rights issues. The call accepts international submissions that meet the established requirements, including a Spanish-language version when applicable.
The submission deadline is July 30, 2026, at 11:59 PM. The initiative takes place within the framework of Abycine Lanza 2026, as part of the Albacete Independent Film Festival program, scheduled for October 20–29, 2026.
The call is exclusively aimed at short films, with a maximum duration of 30 minutes. It accepts different genres and creative approaches, including fiction, documentary, animation, and other audiovisual formats. It belongs to the audiovisual industry and project support field, focused on promoting short films connected to human rights themes.

ABYCINE LAUNCHES – AMNESTY INTERNATIONAL
The SANFIC ODS LAB 2025 invites filmmakers, producers, and screenwriters from Ibero-America to submit audiovisual projects related to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the 2030 Agenda, in advanced stages of development. The third edition of the lab will take place online from August 17-22, 2025, as part of SANFIC Industria. The event is co-financed by the Audiovisual Fund, a support program for international meetings in Chile.
The lab offers two main awards:
PAMPA 2030: Monitoring for two projects on SDG-related topics.
RED TAL Award: Provides two follow-ups for project development in collaboration with public and cultural TV networks in Latin America.
The full list of awards for 2025 will be announced during the SANFIC press conference in the last week of July 2025.

ODS Lab - Sanfic
The IDFA Forum 2025 call for entries is open from June 2 to July 25, 2025. The forum takes place in November in Amsterdam, during the IDFA Festival. Creators can submit creative documentaries (feature-length, series, or immersive/interactive projects) in one of four categories: Forum Pitch, Rough Cut Presentations, Producers Connection, or DocLab Forum.
Projects must be in development, production, or post-production. Submissions require audiovisual material (teaser, clip, or rough cut), synopsis, financing plan, and production strategy. If pre-selected, further materials are due in August.
IDFA Forum is a leading platform for connecting with international funders, distributors, and co-producers.

Forum - IDFA
Proyecta is an initiative within the Ventana Sur audiovisual market designed to promote international co-production between Europe and Latin America. The 8th edition will take place in Buenos Aires, Argentina, from December 1 to 5, 2025, as part of Ventana Sur, with an in-person pitching session on December 3 and professional networking throughout the event. Proyecta accepts international submissions, welcoming producers from both Europe and Latin America with feature film projects in development (first or second films) in both fiction and non-fiction. Selected projects are presented to industry professionals, co-producers, sales agents, and programmers to help secure partnerships and financing. The call is specifically for feature films over 60 minutes and does not include short films or animation. For 2025, twelve projects were selected from a range of countries, highlighting the international scope of the program. The submission period closed before October, with selections announced in October 2025. Proyecta serves as a pitching and co-production platform within the Ventana Sur market, helping emerging filmmakers connect with global industry opportunities.

Proyecta – VENTANA SUR
The Ikusmira Berriak 2025 call seeks audiovisual projects in development that bring new perspectives and approaches to contemporary cinema. It is aimed at emerging filmmakers who wish to develop their projects in a professional and collaborative environment. Innovative and original proposals are especially valued, with no limitations on genre or theme. The program provides space, time, context, and resources for the development of the selected projects.
