Arché Porto, part of Porto/Post/Doc, is a development lab and residency for early‑stage projects. It targets emerging filmmakers working on creative documentaries, hybrid works, or film essays in feature‑length or medium‑length format.
The next edition will take place in Porto during the festival, 25 November – 1 December 2025 (Arché sessions usually happen on the Industry days, around 25–27 November).
The program offers tailored mentorships, feedback sessions, and networking activities, encouraging formal and narrative experimentation. Selected projects are developed and presented to international industry professionals during the festival.
Priority is given to projects linked to Portugal, Galicia, or the Iberian Peninsula. The call opens in summer and closes by late September 2025 (exact date to be confirmed). A dossier with synopsis, treatment, CV, and development status is required.

Porto/Post/Doc - Arché Porto
The "Desafío en una Toma 2025" call is part of the DETOUR.uy New Film Festival, aimed at Uruguayan audiovisual artists and students aged 18 and over. The goal is to promote comedy short films shot in a single continuous take, with a maximum length of 5 minutes. Works must be filmed between July and September 2025 and submitted in digital format (.MP4 HD). A festival-provided opening slate is mandatory, and permissions are required for filming in public spaces. Entries must be original, not previously screened, nor available online. Submission deadline is September 14, 2025, with finalists announced on September 20 and screening during the festival's 13th edition in October 2025. The jury will assess originality, artistic value, and technical execution. This call encourages creativity and skill in Uruguayan audiovisual production.

Detour Challenge 2025: ONE-SHOT COMEDY
Impact Days is the FIFDH’s professional programme for filmmakers and NGOs, now in its sixth edition. We select quality documentary projects, work with filmmakers to refine their impact goals, and facilitate partnerships within the vast ecosystem of organisations, policymakers and funders active around International Geneva.

The Blood Window Work in Progress – CDMX 2025 call is open to Ibero-American fiction feature films in post-production. It targets genre films—horror, fantasy, science fiction, or thriller—that have at least a first cut ready.
The goal is to support films that need a final push to reach the screen. Selected projects will be showcased live during Mórbido Film Fest 2025, held in Mexico City on November 5th.
Participants will be eligible for post-production services, international consultancy, and integration into the global fantastic film ecosystem. The application deadline is September 29, 2025.

Blood Window
Feratum Pitch Hub 2025 is an international call for filmmakers and producers developing feature-length projects in horror, fantasy, science fiction, thriller, and suspense genres. It is part of the Feratum International Fantastic Film Festival, held in Pátzcuaro, Michoacán, Mexico.
Projects in script, pre-production, or production stages are accepted, with a runtime between 70 and 120 minutes. Projects with Latin American cultural elements are especially valued, but participation is open worldwide.
Selected projects will join a pitch workshop on November 5 and 6, 2025, and deliver their final pitch on November 7 before an expert jury. The event offers personalized feedback, networking opportunities with co-producers, distributors, and financiers, as well as cash and in-kind awards.
The call closes on August 31, 2025. This is a key opportunity for those seeking support, visibility, and funding for fantastic genre films within the international circuit.
