The Slow Cinema Workshop-Residency is a training initiative within the Ibizacinefest, focused on contemplative and slow-paced filmmaking. Its goal is to help participants develop a personal vision, encourage mindful observation, and explore alternative narrative approaches beyond conventional cinematic pacing. Attendees will learn about framing, composition, camera movement, and cinematic language, while producing their own audiovisual piece, such as a city portrait or self-portrait.
The 2026 edition will take place from February 20 to 28, and is aimed at students and professionals in film, art, photography, and audiovisual fields, as well as anyone interested in experimental and reflective cinema. The workshop includes accommodation, meals, transfers, festival accreditation, and public screening of participants’ works, with a maximum of 15 participants and a total cost of 580 €. The program combines practical and theoretical learning, fostering experimentation and the development of a personal filmmaking style in the inspiring environment of Ibiza.

SLOW CINEMA WORKSHOP-RESIDENCY - IBIZACINEFEST
The FIRE!! LAB call is part of the LGTBIQ+ Film Festival in Barcelona and targets audiovisual projects focused on LGTBIQ+ themes. Brasil CineMundi – Encuentro Internacional de Coproducción es un evento del mercado cinematográfico brasileño que se realiza en ediciones anuales y consecutivas desde 2010, en Belo Horizonte (MG). Consolidado como ambiente de mercado y plataforma de networking y negocios, el evento construye conexiones entre la producción brasileña y la industria audiovisual. Cada año, decenas de profesionales del audiovisual se reúnen para aprender y hacer negocios con futuros proyectos de largometrajes del cine brasileño.

The Atlàntida Mallorca Talents Lab (AMTL) call is aimed at feature films in the development stage, providing support through mentorship, training, and networking opportunities. The 2026 edition will take place from July 28 to 30 in Mallorca, Spain.
Applications are open from December 15, 2025, to February 28, 2026. Projects of any genre or theme are accepted, including fiction, documentary, and animation. While the main focus has been on production companies with a presence in Spain, international projects may also apply, depending on individual evaluation.
The lab offers pitching sessions in front of industry professionals, group development workshops, and personalized meetings for guidance in production, distribution, and marketing. Its goal is to help projects secure financing and move toward full production. Atlàntida Mallorca Talents Lab
Ideatoon 2026, organized by Pixelatl, is a call for animated project development aimed at Latin American creators with international market potential. The program focuses on early-stage development, requiring participants to submit a Pitch Bible for animated series or feature films. It is designed to strengthen projects through training, pitching sessions, and industry connections with international executives.
The application deadline is June 15, 2026, at 11:59 PM (Mexico City time). Selected projects are announced on June 25, 2026, followed by an intensive Bootcamp held from July 28 to 30, 2026. The process concludes during the Ideatoon Summit at the Pixelatl Festival in November 2026, where final pitches are presented to producers and distributors, and the winning project is announced on November 14, 2026.
Although the program is based in Mexico, it is open to creators from all Latin American countries. It accepts only animated projects in development, primarily series and feature films, rather than completed works. The initiative includes training sessions, mentorship, and access to a professional audiovisual market aimed at facilitating industry connections and project financing.
