El concurso está abierto a guiones de cortometraje de ficción, animación o documental, escritos en castellano o valenciano/catalán.
La temática de los guiones es libre, pudiendo ser tanto originales como adaptaciones literarias, con una extensión máxima de 25 páginas (incluida la portada), en tipografía Courier, tamaño 12, y que no hayan comenzado su rodaje antes del inicio del Skyline Benidorm Film Festival 2025.
Al participar en este concurso, las autoras y autores reconocen poseer el 100 % de los derechos de autor de las obras presentadas.

Concurso de guión - skylinefest
Since 2014, Cinéma du Réel has been working with industry professionals to promote the distribution of documentary films and strengthen connections between filmmakers and distributors. During the festival's 36th edition, ParisDOC was created, an event conceived by Maria Bonsanti, Anaïs Desrieux, and the association Les Amis de Cinéma du Réel.
Participants at this two-day event had the opportunity to watch films in post-production, with an additional day dedicated to discussing initiatives aimed at film distribution. The event's purpose, which later evolved into ParisDOC Works-in-Progress and the Public Forum, was clear from the start: rather than simply opening a market, the goal was to address the challenges and issues facing the documentary film industry, foster innovative ideas, and provide professionals with tailored support and guidance.

PARIS DOC
The RTS Pitching, taking place during the VdR–Industry Days (April 6–9, 2025) in Nyon, Switzerland, was initiated by Radio Télévision Suisse (RTS) to promote innovative documentary filmmaking in French-speaking Switzerland.
This unique forum will showcase eight new documentary projects in the early stages of development, providing participants with the opportunity to present their ideas to industry professionals. The best feature-length project will receive a prize of 10,000 CHF in development funding, supporting the creation of works with a strong creative vision.
This competition fosters a collaborative environment aimed at promoting original Swiss documentary projects intended to reach a wide audience.

VdR - RTS Award
Para el Festival Internacional de Cine de Cartagena de Indias -FICCI, los nuevos talentos de la industria cinematográfica son un foco central de interés.
Desde esta perspectiva, el FICCI 64, con el apoyo de Ibermedia, abre convocatoria para La Residencia FICCI como un programa dirigido a directores(as) y/o guionistas de Iberoamérica e Italia que cuenten con experiencia comprobada en cortometrajes y estén desarrollando su primer o segundo largometraje de ficción.
El objetivo de La Residencia FICCI es apoyar a los(as) participantes en la fase inicial de sus guiones de largometraje para consolidar la escritura de sus propuestas artísticas y conceptuales. Con el fin de nutrir la etapa de desarrollo de los proyectos, los/as participantes recibirán además asesorías complementarias durante el tiempo de La Residencia FICCI alrededor de temas como: análisis de audiencias, financiación, posibilidades de comercialización, distribución y circulación de las películas, así como otros afines.
FICCI invita a participar a talentos emergentes que están inmersos en la profunda exploración del cine como un arte, cuyo interés consiste en llevar el arte a sus contornos, imaginando nuevas (o antiguas) formas y rutas de relacionarse con el mundo. Por lo tanto, el FICCI está interesado en la multiplicidad de maneras de entender e imaginar la creación cinematográfica.

La Residencia - FICCI
The Locarno Residency is a program by the Locarno Film Festival supporting emerging filmmakers developing their first feature film. The 2025 call is open until June 3, 2025. The program has two phases: first, an in-person meeting during the festival in August where 10 participants present their projects to a jury, which selects three outstanding projects. The second phase offers one year of personalized mentoring, including online sessions and in-person meetings, with travel and accommodation expenses covered. One selected project will receive the Dopodomani Prize, worth 3,000 CHF. Requirements include being under 40 years old, having short film experience, and presenting a project in English for a first feature to be shot after September 2026. The application fee is 30 CHF. It’s an excellent opportunity for filmmakers seeking professional support and international exposure.
