La Fundación SGAE y el Festival de Sitges convocan el I Premio Josefina Molina al mejor guion de largometraje fantástico escrito por mujeres socias de la SGAE, con el fin de impulsar la visibilidad femenina en el género fantástico. El premio consiste en 10.000 euros para el proyecto ganador. Pueden participar guiones originales de largometraje, escritos en español, por autoras de cualquier nacionalidad que sean socias de la SGAE. La fecha límite de presentación es el 14 de julio de 2025, enviando el guion, formulario de inscripción, sinopsis, motivación, y documentación acreditativa a iarmanda@fundacionsgae.org. El fallo se anunciará en la 58ª edición del Festival de Sitges, del 9 al 19 de octubre de 2025, dentro del programa WomanInFan. El premio rinde homenaje a la cineasta Josefina Molina, pionera del cine fantástico español.

The Inspired Screenwriting Competition is more than just a contest; it’s an experience designed to help screenwriters discover their authentic voice. Through their course “Finding Your Voice As A Screenwriter,” participants explore techniques to deeply connect with their creativity and develop original stories that reflect their unique perspective. They also offer workshops and guided meditations to help overcome creative blocks and encourage a more mindful, fluid writing process.
This holistic approach combines technical learning with personal growth, supporting writers to develop not only their scripts but also their confidence and distinctive style within the film industry.

The Inspired Screenwriting Competition
TVP has opened submissions for the pitching sessions of the Heart of Europe Forum 2025, which will take place in Warsaw, Poland, from September 30 to October 3, 2025. This call is aimed at filmmakers and TV creators from Central and Eastern Europe, including countries like Poland, Ukraine, Hungary, Romania, and others.
The available categories are fiction film, TV series, and documentary. Projects at any stage of development—from initial concept to near-completion—are welcome. Up to ten projects per category will be selected to present before an international jury and audiovisual industry professionals.
Participation is free, and selected projects will have the chance to showcase their work to producers, distributors, festival representatives, and broadcasters, enhancing opportunities for funding, co-production, and distribution. The submission deadline is June 30, 2025.
This is a valuable opportunity to boost the visibility of regional audiovisual production on the international market and to build important industry connections.

Heart of Europe Forum
Porto/Post/Doc – Industry Screenings is an open call for projects in post‑production with a connection to Portugal or Galicia. The private screenings will take place on 25–26 November 2025 in Porto, within the festival’s Industry section.
Eligible works include feature‑length or medium‑length films (creative documentaries, auteur fiction, animation or hybrids) that have not yet premiered worldwide. Selected projects are shown as works in progress to international sales agents, distributors, programmers and other key industry players.
The aim is to foster co‑production, pre‑sales, and finishing or distribution deals. Attendance is required with at least one accredited representative.

Porto/Post/Doc - Industry Screenings
