Tres Puertos es un laboratorio de desarrollo de largometrajes organizado por AUSTRALAB, dirigido a cineastas de toda Iberoamérica. La edición 2026 se realizará del 19 al 23 de noviembre de 2026 en la zona lacustre andina de la Región de La Araucanía, Chile. El laboratorio funciona como una residencia creativa enfocada en fortalecer los aspectos narrativos, estéticos, temáticos y conceptuales de proyectos en etapa de desarrollo mediante un acompañamiento personalizado.
La convocatoria está abierta a proyectos de largometraje de ficción, documental o híbrido, incluyendo primeros, segundos y terceros largometrajes, así como casos específicos de cineastas con mayor trayectoria que cambian entre ficción y no ficción. Pueden postular directoras y directores de toda Iberoamérica, además de personas residentes en la región bajo las condiciones establecidas por la convocatoria.
Las postulaciones estarán abiertas del 29 de julio al 30 de agosto de 2026, y los proyectos seleccionados se anunciarán el 2 de octubre de 2026.

Australab - Three Ports
The Izmir Film Lab 2025 will take place during the 26th Izmir International Short Film Festival, from 14 to 16 November 2025 at the İzQ Entrepreneurship Center.
The call is open to short film projects in development—fiction, documentary, animation, experimental, fantasy, horror, or music video—as long as the final work does not exceed 30 minutes. Both national and local (Izmir-based) filmmakers are welcome.
Selected projects will be presented through a 5‑minute pitch before a professional jury, followed by networking sessions with producers. Participants also gain access to training workshops on sustainable film production, directing, image techniques, new technologies, and distribution.
The Film Lab is supported by companies such as TamTam, Rollart Film, Public Film, Fono Film, Serpil Altın Film, and Mediacast Film Lab, offering awards and production services to outstanding projects.

İzmir Film Lab
Arché Porto, part of Porto/Post/Doc, is a development lab and residency for early‑stage projects. It targets emerging filmmakers working on creative documentaries, hybrid works, or film essays in feature‑length or medium‑length format.
The next edition will take place in Porto during the festival, 25 November – 1 December 2025 (Arché sessions usually happen on the Industry days, around 25–27 November).
The program offers tailored mentorships, feedback sessions, and networking activities, encouraging formal and narrative experimentation. Selected projects are developed and presented to international industry professionals during the festival.
Priority is given to projects linked to Portugal, Galicia, or the Iberian Peninsula. The call opens in summer and closes by late September 2025 (exact date to be confirmed). A dossier with synopsis, treatment, CV, and development status is required.

Porto/Post/Doc - Arché Porto
The Chicago Script Awards is an international screenwriting competition based in Chicago, United States, designed to support emerging writers and connect them with producers, agents, and film industry professionals. The competition accepts feature screenplays, short screenplays, TV pilots, feature treatments, stage plays, and work-in-progress screenplays, covering a wide range of genres.
The program welcomes international submissions and offers professional feedback, industry exposure, and recognition for selected projects. The final submission deadline is August 13, 2026. Official notifications will be announced on August 24, 2026, and the event will take place from August 24 to August 26, 2026 in Chicago, United States.

CHICAGO SCRIPT AWARDS
The Ventana Madrid 2025 call is open from July 4 to August 21, 2025 for audiovisual production companies based in the Madrid Region. Eligible applicants are either established companies with at least two works in the past five years or emerging companies with less than five years of activity.
Projects in development are welcome (feature films, series, documentaries, or other narrative formats) with international potential, seeking co‑production or funding. Applicants must submit a PDF dossier (up to 5 GB) and optional audiovisual materials through the online form on the official website.
Up to 20 companies will be selected to attend the market in Madrid from October 20 to 22, 2025, gaining personalized B2B meetings, networking opportunities, and international exposure. Registration is free.
