The movie Happy Marriage tells the story of a married couple which breaks apart after the death of their only child. Andrej and Eva, husband and wife, are inevitably getting to the point of the imaginary crossroad.

Erik Jasaň was born on 25th November 1995. Since childhood he has devoted himself to acting. As a child he won competitions in artistic recitation. He graduated from the Bratislava Conservatory in Music and Dramatic Art. During his studies he performed at the State Theater Košice in the main character of the musical On the Glass Painted (by Ernest Bryll and Katarzyna Gärtnerová). As an actor, he made several short feature films and met cameraman Matej Jánošík, who became his cinematographer.

He is the recipient of several prizes: The Pavel Horov Prize (the Prize of a Famous Slovak Writer), the Prize for Dramaturgy at the Artistic Recitation Festival (Czech-Slovak Competition), and the European Places of Peace Prize (screenwriting contests).

During his studies of acting he met Tomáš Hodermarský, with whom they formed a singing-acting couple Tom and Elo. On this project he first met with director. After several theatrical projects, in which he participated as an assistant director, he first began directing his own film.

He likes Russian literature and is influenced by a modern psychological novel. His work is characterized by playfulness in pictorial metaphors and a strong dramatic story.

His first film "Happy Marriage" won several international awards: Best Student Short Film of Aab International Film Festival, Winner of Short Film Factory, Best Editor of International Film Festival of India, Special Jury of Košice International Film Festival Golden Beggar.

And he presented himself at various film festivals: Changing Face International Film Festival, Brukivka International Film Festival, Cinemaway, Global Youth Film Festival Bangladesh, Bengaluru International Film Festival, New Harvest Film Festival, Florence Film Award, Sinevizyon, 3rd U Special International Campus Film Festival.
He is currently directing two new films and is preparing her feature film debut. In addition to films, he creates videoclips with his company GOLDEN ART.
