Pitching is the competition section of ANIMARKT. It gives you the opportunity to present your project to a group of experts from the global animation industry, gain partners and win prizes that will bring the creators closer to making the film.

ANIMARKT - Pitching
Every year, at the beginning of July, the FIDMarseille —Festival Internacional de Cine de Marseille— offers a program of 130 films to approximately 23,500 spectators, in cinemas, theatres, libraries, art galleries and open-air amphitheaters throughout the city. The festival presents a large number of films in world premiere, as well as first films. Today, the FIDMarseille is recognized as a source of new cinemas, both documentary and fiction production.
In addition, FIDMarseille organizes
the FIDLab, a support platform for international co-production
the FIDCampus, a training workshop for Mediterranean students
and numerous external screenings throughout the year.

FIDLab - Marseille
The Storylines Lab is designed for narrative feature film projects at an early stage of development, from early concept to treatment stage. The lab is held virtually through online sessions and has a duration of two weeks.
The lab gives independent filmmakers from around the world the opportunity to work intensively on the creative development of their projects in an environment structured to foster professional collaboration and high-quality project development.
The lab is facilitated by a professional in the field with long-standing experience. In addition to the guidance provided by the facilitator through workshop sessions and one-on-one meetings, the lab offers the participants the opportunity to workshop their projects with other international filmmakers, be part of a community of like-minded artists, and access the Cine Qua Non Lab film professional network.

Taller de Líneas Argumentales (English) - Cine Qua Non Lab
The 6th Ibero-American Script Workshop for Fantastic Cinema, organized by FantasoLab, is now open for submissions of fiction feature film projects in development. It is aimed at Ibero-American screenwriters working in science fiction, fantasy, or horror. The workshop will take place online from January 15 to 24, 2026, with a maximum of 15 participants selected. Each project will receive personalized mentorship, group feedback, and theoretical lectures from experts in fantastic storytelling.
The call closes on September 26, 2025 (8:00 pm Colombia time), and the selected participants will be announced on December 1, 2025. Applicants must submit a 5–7 page treatment along with the required documents in Spanish. The participation fee is COP 3,500,000, payable within 7 days after confirmation of selection. The workshop emphasizes an authorial and aesthetic approach to fantastic cinema while promoting networking among Ibero-American screenwriters.

FantasoLab - Screenwriting Workshop
The Storyline Development Workshop is a virtual lab focused on the creative development of early-stage fiction feature film projects, from the initial idea to narrative treatment. The application period for the 2026 edition is open until November 1, 2025. The workshop runs from February 1 to April 5, 2026, with an additional follow-up session in April/May 2026. The program is organized from Mexico and accepts international applications from filmmakers around the world. It focuses solely on narrative fiction and belongs to the laboratory / creative development category. The accepted format is fiction feature films, with virtual group and individual sessions designed to develop each project’s treatment, character profiles, and synopsis.
