The Central American and Caribbean Project Development Workshop emerged with the desire to provide those who participate with the necessary tools to make their projects powerful and moving, as well as to strengthen the work dynamics between the heads that accompany the creative processes. since its inception: filmmakers, scriptwriters and producers. The Workshop, which is free, has the role of creating synergies, alliances, complicities, between participants and tutors and in this way strengthen the audiovisual space in Central America and the Caribbean, at the same time forming relays and creating community.

VI WORKSHOP ON FILM PROJECTS OF CENTRAL AMERICA AND CARIBBEAN
From December 10 to 13, 2024, the 9th version of Conecta will take place, an international documentary industry meeting, the only one in its category on the continent, whose one of its objectives is to link actors from the international industry to enhance production , distribution and marketing of Latin American documentaries and series, and thereby promote the internationalization and co-production of projects.
Producers, sales agents, distributors, exhibitors, financiers and representatives of some of the most important markets and festivals in the world participate every year in this fundamental space to promote new links between the different representatives of the international documentary industry.

The Cinematographic Short Film Laboratory, MuniciLab, in its first version within the III Buga New Cinema Festival, FENCINE 2024, is a training and creation space for
emerging filmmakers of legal age from Guadalajara de Buga and category 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 municipalities of Valle del Cauca, Colombia; aiming to support and strengthen cinema
regional, providing participants with the necessary tools and resources to develop and produce their own short films.

FENCINE - MuniciLab
The National Short Film Meeting – ENC is aimed at producers with projects in the post-production stage, who work on creating release and circulation strategies. Those selected receive personalized support from national and international experts to define a distribution route in festivals and alternative scenarios.
The ENC is a strategy of the Directorate of Audiovisuals, Cinema and Interactive Media of the Ministry of Cultures, Arts and Knowledge, which is carried out with the support of the National Council of Arts and Culture in Cinematography - CNACC and the Embassy of France in Colombia through the Regional Audiovisual Cooperation service for the Andean Countries, the 16th Popayán Short Film Festival and the 22nd Bogotá Short Film Festival – BOGOSHORTS.
