Ventana Sur Docs is a call dedicated exclusively to feature-length documentary films, held within the Ventana Sur Río de la Plata 2025 market in Buenos Aires, Argentina. It is aimed at Latin American projects or international co-productions with a majority Latin American involvement and a clear interest in international co-production. Series and other formats are not eligible.
The call includes two main sections: Pitch, intended for documentary projects in development, and Work in Progress, aimed at projects in an advanced editing stage with an expected completion date by March 2026. DOCS - VENTANA SUR
The Navarra, Tierra de Cine 2025 short film contest will select 10 fiction projects set in Navarre locations for shooting and tourism promotion. Anyone over 18, regardless of nationality, may participate with an original script up to 10 minutes long. The submission deadline is August 10, 2025. Selected projects will receive logistical support, accommodation, and mentoring, and will attend a project incubator in August. The film must be shot in Navarre and delivered by November 19, 2025. Cash prizes will be awarded for the best short films, acting, photography, and audience favorite, with a first prize of €2,500. Short Film Contest Navarra, Land of Cinema
WIP Europa 2025 is a section of the San Sebastián Film Festival dedicated to European feature films in post-production. Its goal is to support projects with international potential, particularly first or second features and films in non-dominant languages. Up to six films will be selected and presented between September 23–25 to industry professionals such as distributors, sales agents, programmers, and post-production companies.
The call for entries is open until July 3, 2025. Eligible films must be at least 60 minutes long, produced mainly in Europe, not available on public VOD platforms, and already have a first cut.
Selected projects will compete for two awards: the WIP Europa Industry Award, which includes full post-production services and distribution in Spain, and the WIP Europa Award, which grants €10,000 to the majority producer. Selected films must commit to including festival logos and cannot withdraw once confirmed.
